This review is strictly for my prenup kelly helped me draft and finalize. I hired kelly to represent me for a prenuptial agreement between my fiancee and I. I was looking around yelp to find an attorney who suits me and my interests, but most i looked into around the area, in my opinion, were overpriced or didnt seem trustworthy. I decided to call kelly changs office for a quote and she gave me a free 20 minute consultation over the phone. Kelly is straight to the point, very knowledgeable in her field, and competent. She answered any questions i had within a few hours and treated me with respect. She truly represents her clients with their best interest in mind. Her price was fair and she adds in an additional 2 hours of negotiations, answering questions, and editing with her flat rate. I honestly thought i would go over the 2 hour because of all the questions and lagging that came up, but kelly often checks up on me and reminds me on what needs to be done. With my busy schedule, she has been very patient and helpful. Relationships and Finances, when they go bad, are two of the most emotional situations we can find ourselves in. Divorce combines the two and can ruin your life, your spouse's life and your children's lives. Some lawyers see this as an opportunity to exploit these emotionally charged situation to their own benefit. Not Kelly. She has compassion, understanding and an ability to relate to her clients and opposing counsel in a way that is becoming increasingly rare.

Kelly is amazing. Unlike many shark-like, money grubbing lawyers, Kelly actually cares a lot about her clients. She truly wants what’s best for her clients. She is fair and just and extremely knowledgeable. She is very good at finding common ground between parties. Kelly is honest and kind yet commanding and will get the job done! Kelly Chang has a refreshing approach to Family Law. Rather than try to get both sides fighting, to maximize her (and her opposing council's) billable hours, Kelly tries to keep families peaceable and outcomes reasonable. That said, there is no bitbull better to have in your corner if the other side gets unfair -- she'll take on a bully any day. Also, she knows the law backwards and forwards.

She was so kind and listened to me complain for a while, longer than my other attorneys would ever have let me! She was sweet and helpful and talked me through my situation and answered all of my questions. I've hired (and fired) many lawyers/firms in my career as a tech CEO and I have to say that Kelly and her small boutique firm is real standout. She and her crew work efficiently, I never feel like I'm being over-billed or nickled-and-dimed, she communicates well so I know exactly where my case is at all times, and her calendar and budget estimates were right on the money.

Most attorneys will start off the conversation by telling you how great your case is, how the other side is being unreasonable, how you should stand up and fight this fight etc. all so they can rack up more hours. Kelly is no-nonsense, tells you right where you are, right where the law is, and what kind of outcome you can expect (based upon the actions available to the other side), and then she executes like a champ.

This seems simple, but I have to say that most attorneys/firms I've worked with are rarely so upfront to begin with nor so capable in execution.

I intend to never need a family practice attorney again, but if I do I will make a beeline straight for Kelly.

I found it far more efficient than having to take time off work to go to her office and didn't have to deal with snail mail either. Although for her services I would go into her office if need be. She is surprisingly (only because, well...lawyer) warm and helped put me at ease during a time when I was stressed and emotional. If you are unfortunate enough to have to retain a lawyer, go with the best and go with Kelly, she's worth every penny.
