I was very skeptical but took a chance. There isnt much communication besides emails. Michael and his staff prepped all documents sent for signature and submitted to the court. I just had to show up. The hardest part was having EX WIFE now notorize docs in a timely manner( but learned you can E-notorize online now more expensive but worth it).

Paid for week turn around and he made it happen! Thank you so much Michael Ephraim and support staff. Your process is so fine tuned that everything moves quickly and seamlessly.

Absolutely horrible communication and service! NO communication and I always have to reach out to them for an update. This law firm is terrible and the service is not fast at all. I sent my final paperwork to them in December 2017 and have yet to receive my court date. Don't waste your time people.

The online person for chat is rude and unhelpful. I am paid customer on this law firm and all asked the online help for was an e-mail address to send my signed documents. It seems as soon as they get your money. Is when the customer service drops. Really bad customer service. Who knows maybe they will improve as we more together. As of right now, I would not suggest for anyone to use them.

I got a divorce through Michael Ephraim by publication, at first I was sceptical because of how easy it was to set up. It took just as long as suggested about 5 months but with very little work on my half, the court cast took 15 minutes once we got started. Very happy all around!!

Even though it took just bit longer than expected, 4 months, it was worth the extra month wait. I am finally divorced and I barely lifted a finger! Notarize this and that document , but other than that, it was all taken care of for me. Special shout outs to Rodrigo!! Very professional! I filled out my personal information on March 14th 2018, and the Judge signed the divorce papers and my name change, on March 28,2018.They said it may take 5 wks because of the name change, but only took 2 wks. It was uncontested, and you have to do your part in signing documents and quickly sending them back. I live quiet a distance away, so I did it all via the internet. I also had all documents sent to me and I emailed to my ex, he returned them to me, and I quickly sent them in. If it's uncontested you should be able to get your spouse to work with you at getting it done. I am very satisfied with the service I received. I couldn't believe this could possibly happen so quickly, and even asked when I first called, is this for real. Trust Me: It Is Real! Wow!! Thanks to Mr. Gray and staff!!

My experience was fantastic! Mr Ephraim, Mr Gray and the paralegals, explained everything. I had my paperwork all together, my witness, and we did a divorce by Publication, because the Wife- Now Ex wife, would not return phone calls, changed her number, didn't respond to certified letters etc. The divorce by publication was the only method to finalize this nightmare of someone who didn't want to be divorced, but didn't want to be married either!

Ephraim law was awesome, very inexpensive, and explained everything I needed. If you have your paperwork together and witness it is a fast, cheap easy way to get a divorce. Mine took a bit longer because of the Divorce by Publication method ( unresponsive spouse). But I am Free and Single thanks to Ephraim Law and associates! Highly Recommended!! Thanks Again

This firm did not do their due diligence in this case. Caution: these are known as Divorce Mills. They churn it out fast, and don't care who they are stabbing in the process as long as they get their money from the party they represented. Caution: even if you do use Divorce Mills, always ask for both parties to be present before a judge and let the judge know, the other party has no representation

No issues. Some of the reviews will make you worry but trust these guys. Also their office might make you wonder if they can do the job but they did it. I did a non contested divorce. They said it would take 8 weeks but I think it was something like a month from start to finish. Just make sure you do everything they need you to do and you have nothing to worry about. Only thing I had a problem with is finding a witness to come to court with me to say I haven't been living with now my ex wife for more then 6 months.

It took about 6 months for my divorce. I filed a no contest no court showing and newspaper published. They got the job done. It was hard to communicate by email. It's better to call them at their office to get answers. I was skeptical but in the end I got my results I paid for! I would recommend them and use them again. Just call the office for best communication. (My experience)

Well I can say that in my experience Everything was successful.

Quick and thoughtful service at reasonable prices. My divorce was completed three weeks after all the documents were signed. Mr. Grey was great at keeping communication open. A piece of advice: while it is great that everything can be done online, through emails, if you feel there is any kind of misunderstanding pick up the phone and talk directly to whoever handles your case. They will be very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this firm.

I got my divorce a few years ago l, this law firm was able to do my divorce completely online! ( every situation is different).In my case is was very quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. Best money I have spent!

This is a legit firm. They completed my uncontested divorce in less than 45 days. At the cost, if you already have your ducks in a row, this is a great option in an antiquated area of law. I would recommend them if you have an uncontested and cooperative divorce. I took away 1 star for the actual attorney, he was a bit slow and unobtainable. The staff, clerks, legal secretaries and paralegal were very good. The chat feature for quick status was great, I was riding my motorcycle in Vegas and got my status within 3 blocks ride. Now, if you have chaos or need advice look elsewhere, all the people complaining, I do not think had their lives organized. These guys here are to administrate the legal process for you, not solve you marital, property or divorce issues. That kind of lawyer does not come for under $999.

I had a very uncontested, no court appearance divorce. It took about 4 weeks from when I submitted the original request to the judge signing the divorce decree. It helps to do it all by email, have a very responsive spouse and easy access to a notary. It took about two weeks after the decree was signed to get it in the mail. I would absolutely recommend this law office if you have a simple divorce. Mine was literally all done through email, but they made it known they were available by phone too. Great communication and worth every penny.

Save your money don’t ever go here. They say they help with military, but all they do is waste your time. After various attempts to call these inconsiderate lazy ass lawyers, we have tried to get in touch with them as my estranged wife was threatening to do things that made no sense ie. she wanted to prolong the marriage so she can be entitled to military benefits, I have been trying to get divorced since July of 2017. But, they do not return any calls, they say they are busy, and the stupid “get divorced in a short amount of days” is for the birds. If you like to get no updates on your paperwork, no call backs and horrible customer service, this law firm is just for you. They like to take money and watch you burn :) I hope this review clears up how horrible this company is! Good luck to everyone’s divorce or legal challenges I hope this law firm is your last resort.

I had a wonderful experience with the Law Office of Michael Epharim. I worked with David Grey. He was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and thoroughly explained everything. I paid my fees with them on October 4th and my divorce was finalized on October 31st!

My experience with this firm was overall really great. I actually received my divorce over 2 years ago but i decided to write this review because I recently had to reach out to get a copy of my divorce decree from them and they were very responsive. I was on a tight deadline to get the information to my mortgage firm and they were very receptive overall.

They are not the most expeditious getting through the divorce proceedings because they get their money upfront. However at the end of a few weeks you will be divorced. There is going to be a good amount of leg work on the clients end as well. In order to get through the process quicker I had to hand deliver papers to my ex, get them notarized, etc. Please know that if you allow them to do the leg work it will take a lot longer and they will charge you more money. Hopefully I never have to use this service again but I can say I would recommend them, just know you will be doing 1/4th of the work, at least!

The only thing that has happened quick and easy is the removal of thenmoney from my account. No one calls to follow up. They say whatever about your case to get you off the phone. My case was filed in Feb and said to take 8 weeks. They make errors in intial filing and never notified me. No one contacted me to advise anything when 8 weeks passed. Instead I called and left messages that were never returned. Finally after many calls I scheduled a court date made arrangements to be there and days before when I asked about the address of the court building I was told that I was never scheduled for court. I was sent an affadivit after proving error in their part that was said to take care of the end of my proceeding. Since then I have beendown right lied to as to the processing of my case. They say one thing court says another... my case was to be completed in April and it's now pushing mid-July...

I am a service member who has been trying to get my paperwork since December 2015. They fail to email or contact me when it's something I need to do on my end to speed up the process. Instead of them telling me everything I had to do they gave me bits and pieces here and there. Now that I'm in Kuwait they just stopped answering my emails.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!!!!! It's been over a year!!!!!! Honestly there should be an option for 0 stars! I cannot stress this enough... find someone else... please... these people have no idea what they are doing. PLEASE do not make the same mistake I have.

The communication is horrible, I've sent email after email without a response. The process was in week 5 and the papers still had not been delivered to my ex. When I call the office go figure out what's going on .. no one knows and I had to sit on hold while the receptionist tried to figure it out. I knew 3 weeks would be a long shot but seems like it's going to take at least 8 weeks which is way longer than I thought. I could of just gone with a local attorney if the time frame couldn't remotely be met. I would not recommend them to anyone. There was way more conversation before payment than after.

No Stars! Do not believe the reviews on this website. He has been dealing with my case for almost six months now. He does not return calls and he is not responsive when you leave a voice mail. Please I am begging you do not go with the this law firm, they are a fraud.

I started my process on Feb 16, 2017, my divorce was final March 3, 2017. I will say that the gentleman that answered the phone could be rude and short sometimes but that was a small price to pay to have this whole process behind me now. I would highly recommend this law firm.

I had an excellent experience using Michael Ephraim's law firm. I originally submitted an inquiry with my information back in December before I was ready to file and received information back to me within a few hours with pricing, when I could file, how filing works, and how long it would take, etc. Mr. Ephraim's legal assistant answered all of my questions within 24 hours and it proved to be accurate information. I had a fairly simple uncontested divorce (no kids, property, etc), and the process couldn't have gone any smoother. The entire process took about 4 weeks. I worked with David Grey and he was extremely reliable and answered any questions I had. It was the smoothest and cheapest way to get a divorce (AND I never spoke with them once on the phone or in person). Thank you for all of your help!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Terrible service. My case is simple and everything has been paid for/signed. A year later and I'm still married. I think id have better luck getting ahold of the POTUS than these incompetent paralegals.

I wish that i could give this lawyer a negative rating, but the site won't let me do that. Well this lawyer must be very good only with those who have personally appeared in his office and have worked out the details. With my wife and her ex-husband who had filed the paperwork online and had Mr. Ephraim file for him the paperwork that was forged, must generate pretty good reviews.
I know for a fact that my wife had never seen the paperwork along with the waiver that locks in the divorce decree/ separation agreement, plus it must be nice that not only has the legal aid in Newport news had seen his handy work, but also the police dept. in Alexandria had seen work as well.
My wife was told by an officer up there to file a complaint against him with the Bar Association of what he had done in Alexandria.
My wife had called Mr. Ephraim and he was very rude with her and also had hung up the phone on her 2x trying to figure out why is someone lives in another part of VA, can file in a place that they don't live in or by, plus post the divorce in a newspaper that they would never read as well.

I had an amazing experience with this law firm. Worked directly with Rodrigo Andre and he always responds to my emails within 48 hours. I had to file my divorce through publication where the complaint was published in the newspaper every week for 2 months. Now that the publication process is over, all that is left to complete is an affidavit. I will be officially divorced in the next 3 weeks! Hallelujah!!!!!!! The total cost was $460. I would definitely recommend.

Real and Honest review......I had no clue how to get a uncontested divorce. I googled and called about 15 different firms and lawyers. Most of them wanted money just to talk on the phone or try to bait me into a consultation at their office. Being in sales I know how that goes. I also didn't want to pay the $79 "do it yourself" divorce. I want things to be done right the first time. Plus by the time you add up court fees, court time, time off work, etc it comes out being the same. Also it doesn't help when you have an EX that is reluctant to sign anything. My mentality was "Have things done right the first time, because this might be the only chance I get". I saw the online reviews for Michael Ephraim's law firm and saw good and bad. But that’s about the same with everyone. But when I called Michael Ephraim, he listened and worked with me. He wasn't pushy, and explained my options to me over the phone. And never once mentioned money until I told him let's proceed forward. I paid him over the phone to get the paper work started and he assigned another great person to my case, David Grey. David did most of the work and whom I communicated with 90% of the time. I could email him or call him with any questions. He responded fast!! Like I was his only client. I had all the documents he prepared for me notarized and sent back to him on April 26, 2016. Today is May 4th, 2016 and I am officially divorced!! I don't know what the case may have been with the negative reviews. But I am extremely grateful for David and Michael’s efforts! If you just verify documents were sent and received. Not just emailing or faxing things over and assuming things were received things will go smoothly, as in my case…… I know going through a divorce is hard. I wish I could give 0 stars, but in order to write this I had to give 1. My divorce took 2 years primarily due to lack of communication from the staff. My first paralegal never responded when I sent information in or returned any of my voicemails. It took 2 months before I got another person to call me back and let me know that he was no longer with the company. HELLO?!?! Someone should have contacted that entire caseload or been monitoring his emails/Voicemails. The second person made me re-submit all of my paperwork that I had already submitted because it was unable to be located in the office. I was told I was done with my portion of the paperwork, only to call in and ask why it had not been sent off to court yet and be informed that there were 2 more documents I needed to complete. You have to be vigilant and call or email every day to get a response. If you call in every day for 5 days, you will most likely get a response a week later. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. They only care about your money. I updated my address with them on five (5) different occasions. I then got a call asking me what my address was as documents had been returned to them. They do not listen to what you are saying, and you will get passed around so many times that you will have no idea who is handling your case anymore.

Everything went smoothly as promised and the Final Decree came in the time frame I was promised. Would definetly use this Law Office again. Thanks Again David Grey.
