I can't speak highly enough of our first visit with Dan Vaughan.

The top-notch experience began well before arrival, with a thorough appointment preview and follow up contact by an assistant. Then we were greeted immediately and with courtesy through the front door, offered a beverage and given an accurate time frame of when we'd meet with our attorney (we were a few minutes late, so the delay was our fault).

This was all a preview of the experience we had with Mr. Vaughan. We trusted the referral that brought us there, but even if we walked in cold we would have felt in great hands from the start. Equal parts friendly and professional, you wouldn't feel overwhelmed or out of place sitting down with Dan. He has a great, educational approach to subject material that can be dry and difficult at the same time. He's polished without being pedantic, and he's eager to kill himself (conversationally) to describe scenarios so you don't have to envision yourself or a loved one any more than is otherwise necessary.

One last part that doesn't need to be stressed but I feel is important nonetheless. My wife and I are not heavy hitters, financially. But we felt we were given the same thorough treatment that someone who had an actual estate to plan would have received. This, to me, displays professionalism and ethics that anyone would ask for out of anyone providing this type of service.

I'd have zero reservation about referring anyone to Dan Vaughan and his practice. You won't be disappointed, and you'll feel better walking out the door than you did walking in knowing you've got them behind you.
