Horrible customer service

I've worked with Ted before and he is a very knowledgeable and thoughtful attorney. I will definitely recommend him in the future.

This law office is a joke. I was originally working with Aubrey Jacobson who was extremely nice and responsive to my emails/calls. When I submitted my information packet to file my bankruptcy, I received an auto reply saying she was no longer at the firm. I promptly forwarded my email to the attorney taking over her cases, Ron Roundy. I received no response. I followed up with several phone calls and several emails with no response. 3 months later I finally demand my money back and finally am able to talk to Mr. Roundy. He says they can START my paperwork right away. I told him I did NOT want them to file my bankruptcy and wanted my money back considering they had done nothing for me and I didn't want to work with an attorney that took over 3 months to respond. He told me he would talk to the owner Ted and get back to me by the end of the day. Almost another week goes by, so I call again, Ron is conveniently unavailable so I leave a message. The next afternoon I receive a call from Mr. Roundy stating that they can refund the $335 filing fee but are unable to refund the $1100 for attorney's fees since they have already prepared my paperwork and it is ready to file. I specifically told him the prior week that I did NOT want them to do my paperwork, but they went ahead and did it anyways to weasle out of refunding my money.

I also did a quick google search of Mr. Roundy and come to find out there are several complaints against him and also came across a court document listing 12 counts against him for similar behavior and see his license has been suspended a few times. Unfortunately, I am stuck using this joke for my BK because I don't want to lose out on $1100 but you should run very very far away.
