Last year I was hit head on by a drunk driver as he drove down the wrong side of the street. He hit two other cars outside of mine, before crashing himself into a wall. He needed to be cut out by the jaws of life. I immediately suffered a concussion and pinched cranial nerves. My car was totaled and my mind was (temporarily) lost.

A few weeks later as I called my insurance company to start processing my medical insurance claim, I was told they couldn’t prove that the accident hadn’t been my fault as I didn’t know the police report number (as I had been concussed when the police arrived, and the police were busy dealing with people much more messed up than I.) It was a harsh phone call, and left me very anxious having to recount my accident to someone that really didn’t feel like they cared or wanted to help me.

From there, I contacted Brian’s office and he immediately called me back. I quickly set up one meeting where I laid out the details and gave them some basic info. They were nice and chill and made me very very comfortable with the process. And that was it. I was able to continue to get treatment for the symptoms that popped up without having to worry about having to argue or deal with my insurance, and was just able to focus on getting myself back in shape.

Brian’s office was able to get me my full amount available under my policy. My first trip to the ER was also not covered by my medical insurance, so when I faulted on the payment to them I got a lien. Brian’s office also negotiated that lien WAY down and settled it up on my behalf.

I really just didn’t want to deal with any of this. Im not a litigious person, and talking about the accident at all does bring up lots of stress and anxiety. Not having to think about it, and knowing that I had a great team advocating and staying on top of everything on my behalf was a huge blessing.

I really hope no one has to deal with these kinds of issues, but I would highly recommend Brian and his team if you ever have to. He made something really awful not quite as bad.

I had an amazing experience with the Law Offices of Brian Breiter. From day one, they treated me with dignity and respect. I met with several other firms and knew quite soon into my initial meeting with Brian that I would select his firm for representation. I have no regrets in my decision and highly recommend that others use his firm's services. A car hit me while I was riding my bicycle and I needed surgery. After these traumatic experiences, we were able to settle out of court. I'm grateful that the firm listened to my desires and that we had such a favorable outcome.

“Brian and his team did an amazing job on my case and that is why I am giving them 5 stars. One morning I was driving to work in Corona, CA when a driver failed to stop a a stop sign and hit me on the driver side door of the car. The impact was tremendous. The car was totaled. Luckily I was wearing a seat belt. I was completely dazed. I was transported to a near by hospital by ambulance. I had neck pain, shoulder tear and a concussion months after the accident. I took almost 2 years for me to fully recover from my injuries. Brian did a great job gathering all the medical information, and police report and dealing with the insurance company. It took a long time and a lot of patience on my part, but in the end I received a nice settlement above my expectations. Brian is truly excellent at negotiating with the insurance company. I would highly recommend Brian for any MVA case you may have. However, I pray every day that I never have to call him again.”

Breiter Law is the most honest and up front law firm I have ever come across. Brian and his staff is still Human ladies and gentlemen! While the rest have passed on to the dark side. Brian will appreciate this joke :)

My no-fault auto accident case was handled with very, I want to stress, VERY minimal work on my end. Brian handled everything from the filing the claim, to thoroughly searching the assets of the defendant, processing my UIM, dealing with Rowlie and even negotiating with Blue Shield of California to get a fair settlement out of the limited insurance limit available.

I also want to mention that he took my case even if the insurance limit was not a commercial limit but just above state minimum. Many attorneys out there refused to take my case because it wasn't "big enough" for them. Brian can tell you the story if he feels comfortable but he took me in, no questions asked, completely made me feel like I had all the firepower in the world and had no worries afterwards.

Breiter Law's diligence and thoroughness is next to none.
Brian was also generous and fair on the part of the case that I had done some footwork on. He only took a commission for the portion of the settlement that was left to negotiate and didn't take a commission on the first half of the settlement!

I can't really express how awesome and refreshing it is to meet a law firm that hires attorney and support staff who are still honest, who still stand by their client and finally, provides stellar service with minimal to no headache on the client's end.

Brian, thank you very much, you and your friends are always going to be have my business.

On November 2016, our car was rear ended by another vehicle. I was sitting on the passenger side while my boyfriend drove us home from Lamaze class. We were yielding to traffic in front of us when we were rear-ended by a vehicle that was attempting to switch lanes. Their vehicle was traveling at such a high speed that the impact forced our car into the car in front of us. At the time of the accident I was 7 months pregnant and frightened. I think the shock from the impact sent an adrenaline rush through out my body that I did not feel any pain, all I could think of was my baby. We immediately decided to go have the baby checked out to make sure the baby was fine. Thankfully everything was ok and we were sent home that same day. The next day I woke up with pain all through my body, specifically my back and I even threw up some blood. I was very scared there was something wrong with the baby so we went to the ER but were turned away and sent to Prenatal Urgent Care instead. I was diagnosed with vertigo and whiplash. I had extreme back pain and awful headaches for the remainder of pregnancy and unfortunately there wasn’t anything they could do for me. I could not do therapy, no procedures or any medicine for pain due to my advanced pregnancy. To make matters worse we found out the driver had no license. It was then that we decided to look for an attorney and thankfully we found The Law Offices of Brian Breiter. The next two months were hard trying to cope with the back pain as my baby kept growing and getting heavier. Sleeping was impossible.
Brian, Mark and the entire team were absolutely amazing! They were very caring and compassionate throughout the remaining months of my pregnancy. They checked on me and made sure the baby was doing well. They fought for me when the insurance company tried to offer less than the full policy. After a long battle with the insurance company, they were able to get the full policy limits for me. I would definitely recommend The Law Offices of Brian Breiter to everyone. They aren’t just amazing and get the job done, they are caring and compassionate individuals who treat you like family. I can assure you they will take the best care of you!

I was hit by a car walking in a crosswalk in Beverly Hills, CA. It happened almost 2 years ago. Engaging Brian and his team shortly thereafter was one of my best decisions ever.

His knowledge, and confidence told me I was working with the best professionals I could have found.

Brian's guidance was invaluable. He listened and helped me throughout the case. We were both patient and that patience produced positive results.

Give Brian a call immediately when the need for a great lawyer comes up in your life!

In April 2015, I was attacked by a dog which ripped open my arm and left a puncture wound on my leg. After the initial shock wore off, I realized I needed a lawyer and began my search. Having never needing a personal injury lawyer before, I didn't know where to start. It was a bit overwhelming, but Brian Breiter's name kept popping up. He had nothing but great reviews, was highly rated and had plenty of experience with dog bites, so after an extensive search, I decided to contact him and it was the best decision I could have made.

He was immediately responsive and I met with him the same day I reached out. He took excellent care of me from the get go, setting me up with all of the appointments I needed, explaining the process thoroughly and not sugar coating all the possible outcomes.

I knew I was in great hands and worked closely throughout the process not just with him, but with Jeff Twomey with whom I could not have been more impressed. I met with Jeff multiple times before my deposition and he was so thorough, kind, competent and answered every question I had. He was with me during my deposition and I always felt completely taken care of.

The outcome that this team provided me was above and beyond what I was expecting. They understood my reasons for pursuing the case in the first place, were unbelievably compassionate and really fought for me. It also happened that they had great senses of humor, were incredibly professional, personable and great to be around. I actually looked forward to every time we spoke or got together, given the circumstances.

I would recommend Brian and Jeff 10 times out 10. I could not be happier with my entire experience with them. I deeply appreciate the work they did for me and made a traumatic, unwanted experience not only tolerable but pleasant. You cannot go wrong hiring this team!

November 20th, 2015 is a day I will never forget. I was running errands for work around Los Angeles and was violently rear ended on the 101 freeway. I had been at a dead stop in the fast lane and a massive F250 truck plowed right into me at full speed. It was almost like it had happened in slow motion. I saw him coming in the rear view mirror and I remember thinking, “please stop, please stop, please stop.” I braced for impact and closed my eyes as the force snapped my neck back and fourth. I ended up breaking the back window out with the back of my head in my single cab truck. The bed was in the shape of a rainbow instead of a regular flat truck bed. The entire dash of the car-A/C, stereo, etc.-had exploded onto my lap. Fortunately, I was wearing my seatbelt. I didn’t black out for long but was immediately in shock from the accident.

My back, neck, and head were throbbing and hurt all over. While I headed to the hospital for my injuries I immediately started questioning how I was going to navigate this nightmare on my own. That was literally my first thought. Not my own health and recovery but HOW I was going to take on such a financial burden. I only had Medi-Cal and knew that if I missed even one day of work it would be a struggle to pay my bills. I was in so much pain and had no idea where to turn until a coworker of mine referred me to Brian Breiter and his team. I was really hesitant about hiring an attorney-this was a first for me, but after meeting with Brian and Mark, I finally felt a bit of relief knowing I had a solid team who was ready to fight for my recovery.

Brian got me in to see amazing specialists, physical therapists, and started treatment right away. I can’t even put into words how much my life got turned upside down from this accident, but he’s helped me turn it right side up again. You don’t realize how much back/neck injuries can impact your daily routine until you’re forced to. I ended up being out of work for a year due to my injuries and was in need of a Worker’s Comp attorney as well. Brian didn’t hesitate to connect me with Lester Friedman, who specialized in WC so their offices could work together to get me the medical attention I needed. What you don’t realize when you’re hurt like I was, is that there are several hoops to jump through and insurance companies will fight to the nail to not cover your treatment regardless of fault, and regardless if you’re injured. Having Brian stand beside me and fight for me was imperative to my recovery, my sanity, and has made it possible for me to live the closest thing to a normal life as possible. I am beyond grateful to be here, and I am committed to overcoming these injuries. It’s a choice I wake up and make every single day. These injuries will be with me the rest of my life, but they will not define me.

I cannot thank them enough for the incredible support they extended to me, the guidance they provided, and how much they put into this case on my behalf. If you’re looking for a superhero attorney, Brian Breiter + Team are modern day Avengers in the courtroom and I give them my full support! You will never regret making that call.

A few years ago I had a car accident. Brian took over my case and was amazing. So kind, detailed and patient with me. I knew what to expect every step of the way. He immediately put me at ease and was honest/upfront with me. Very accessible. We won our case and I continue to recommend him to any friend in need. In fact, anyone who has had an accident I tell them their second call should be to Brian!

Last September, a car pulled out in front of me while I rode my motorcylce down Olympic Blvd in downtown Los Angeles. I was injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment. After being released, I felt that the insurance company was trying to take advantage of me, as they only wanted to pay for my bike and not any injuries or compensation for time off work. The lawyers at Brian Breiter Law Offices helped me every step of the way and took care of everything. They guided me through the process and I really felt like I was taken care of by someone I had known for years. I ended up getting a settlement that paid for all of my bills, my bike, and for my time off work. I couldn't be happier!

I have thankfully not had to hire legal counsel before now. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, I was in a car accident that necessitated that I have surgery to try to get back to normal health again. I spent over a year attempting to navigate through the process of insurance claims on my own, and made no progress toward being repaid for my medical costs while also trying to be my own advocate for all of my healthcare needs despite my own health insurance also trying to bill me for my own surgery. I was immensely frustrated with the insurance companies involved and did not have much faith in any appropriate resolution to the case.

After all the stress of trying to navigate the process myself, having Brian and his team take over was surprisingly hands-off for me. They contacted me for updates now and then, but overall it was much quieter and far less stressful than what I had become accustomed to.

This past week, I got a phone call from Brian that everything was finally done. It was surprising and a little strange to finally have a resolution to something that had seemed endless. Brian and his team handled the process so smoothly and professionally in comparison to the fiasco I had been dealing with previously that it seemed almost anticlimactic to have such a quiet, neat ending. I would absolutely recommend his team for anyone seeking legal counsel and, if I ever have to seek any again for myself, will call his office first.

Hard working attorney, took the time to reach out to me when after being at trial all day, which isn't easy. I will definitely be seeking their representation if and when the moment arises in my life, for those still seeking, I highly recommend them.

3.5 years ago, I got into a terrible accident that broke my eye socket, misaligned my pelvis, messed up my neck, gave me severe muscle tissue trauma, to name a few of the injuries, and left me physically and emotionally scarred. I had never been in a situation like this and was really scared and physically incapable of even beginning to deal with it. I found Brian Breiter on yelp, due to his great reviews, and hey, I’m paying it forward and writing a 5-Star review myself to hopefully help whomever is reading this now decide to go with him. He came to my rescue and I cannot be more grateful. He came to my house for a free consult and was extremely reassuring—great bedside manners. He said he’d do everything he can to help me, and I believed him. My gut told me to go with him, and he turned out to be a man of integrity, and he really delivered on his promises. The next 3.5 years was no easy journey by any means. I couldn’t have even begun to imagine the complicated, intricate, and oftentimes very frustrating process that was dealing with, well, anything legal. I’m pretty type A and want to know everything that’s going on, but there are a lot of puzzle pieces and unknowns, and though there are times when there’s a lot of waiting around or uncertainties due to the process, Brian has always been reassuring, and I trusted him. He told me to just focus on seeing the doctors I needed to see, do everything I needed to do to best heal myself, and that he and Mark (the other lawyer I worked with extensively, who is also extremely hard working) would take care of everything else. And they did. I’m happy to say that today, 3.5 years later, Brian handed me a very-well negotiated settlement check, we high-fived, and will continue to be friends. He and Mark really took care of me, fought hard, and FAR exceeded my expectations for the outcome. Thank you Brian, Mark, and everyone at the office. All my love and appreciation goes out to you guys! :)

They are incredibly, professional, reliable, smart, and a pleasure to work with. Most of all, they care! I didn't feel like just another number. I felt like a real person and like they were taking care of a friend. They are the real deal, and if they'll work with you, I'd hire them right away!

Brian was so helpful and generous with his time. I bit down on a rock that was in a prepackaged salad I had bought and it broke my tooth. Brian called me back very quickly, listened to the details, asked questions, and ultimately advised/recommended to me that it would be better to handle the case on my own (and, if necessary, through small claims court) because using a legal professional would cost too much relative to the potential outcome of the case. That, to me, is honesty. He also spent a decent amount of time with me on the phone, offering suggestions and guidance, and saying I could call back if I had more questions or needed anything at all. I did, in fact, call again and he answered my questions. He was patient and kind. I'll definitely be keeping his number for myself and anyone I know in case it's unfortunately needed in the future - hopefully it won't be - but if so, he'll be the person I call.

Brian Breiter and his team were outstanding! We met under the worst circumstances one could ever imagine. In January of this year I lost my only daughter at the age of 31 in a horrible and tragic car accident in Los Angeles. She was a passenger in the car and died at the scene. She couldn’t speak for herself and that’s when Brian stepped in to represent her and her rights in a wrongful death claim. At that time of grief, pain and unspeakable loss I don’t think that I would’ve managed had it not been for Brian’s professional help and compassion. He was not just an attorney, but also became my grief counselor and compassionate friend who really cared and carried me through the whole legal process. His professionalism in working though all the details and negotiations for a fair settlement with the insurance was such a comfort to me. I am so grateful to Brian and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for personal injury attorney with a human heart. Thank you, Brian! You are simply THE BEST!

I chose to hire attorney Brian Breiter represent me because of his reputation for being THE BEST. My Mom used him in the past, and she was referred to him through one of her past clients. Thank God I listened to their recommendations because it paid off!
I was initially intimidated, as I never imagined my (then) 24 year old self walking into an injury attorney's office, but my fears and reservations were quickly alleviated upon meeting Brian Breiter and his team. They were patient, compassionate, and honest throughout the entire process.
I had a horrific arm injury that required multiple surgeries, and Brian set me up with THE TOP doctors. This guy has connections! And trust me it makes all the difference.
My case was worth a lot, and I would have been more than happy if we settled with %10 of what we were going after (My eyes nearly poped out of my head when he told me the number). But to my surprise, we settled for the whole policy limit! Let's just say my friends wish it was them that shattered their arm, and are currently in the process of purchasing my first home due to this financial gain!

Approximately 4 and a half years ago, I was subjected to dangerous conditions at a restaurant that resulted in a life changing injury to my face. I was forced to undergo plastic surgery to attempt to alleviate the damages, but I was left with permanent scarring, numbness, and an overwhelming sense of helplessness.

With no experience in a courtroom and without ever filing a lawsuit, I was unaware of any possible options. Fearing I had no recourse, I was luckily referred to Brian Breiter’s office by a friend. That referral changed my life. After a consultation with Brian and his team and a full explanation of all the events and information, they made me feel confident that my injuries would be dealt with accordingly. I immediately knew I was in the right hands.

Brian’s office handled all the necessary filings and after a few months I was accompanied by Andrew Aukland from Brian’s team to my deposition. I was informed, confident, and calm due to the professionalism and rapport displayed by Brian and his attorneys throughout the process. A number of failed mediations followed, causing the likelihood of a trial to rise each time. With Brian’s confidence in my case as well as my knowledge of the facts, we continued our pursuit of justice despite the insurance carrier’s unwillingness to settle without a trial.

In a strange twist, the defendant switched defense firms in the middle of the process, effectively starting the process from square one. The masterful team composed of Brian, Andrew, and Jeff Twomey were steadfast and assured me there was nothing to worry about. The ability to stay in constant communication with Brian’s office allowed me the peace of mind that my case was being handled by the best Plaintiff’s Attorney in Los Angeles.

After nearly 5 years had gone by since the accident, the insurance carrier left us with no other option but to try the case. As Brian explained to me, no trial by jury is ever a guarantee, but the strength of our case and magnitude of my injuries drove our desire for a fair and just resolution. The trial lasted 5 days and the preparation, dedication, and compassion by Brian, Jeff, and Andrew ultimately resulted in a successful Plaintiff verdict, finding the defendant 100% responsible. The jury delivered a verdict that was more than six times than the insurance carrier’s final offer.

I will be forever thankful to Brian Breiter and his team of Jeff Twomey and Andrew Aukland for the compassion they showed me at one of the lowest points in my life. They took a terrible situation and fought to get me the absolute best possible result. When other LA lawyers will fold and take a settlement to avoid trial, Brian will not back down. His constant communication and information is easy to digest and assuaged all trepidations I had throughout the 3 year process. Though the situation that led me to Brian and his team was horrific, the subsequent experience was fantastic due to the personal investment he and his office demonstrated. I unequivocally recommend him and will always be indebted to him for his amazing work.

If I could give more stars I would!! Talk about a stand up team at the Law Offices of Brian Breiter.

It's been 20 months since I was hit by a car as a pedestrian where I broke my tibia and fibula, ankle, pelvis in four places, five broken ribs and road rash up the wazoo but this past week I got my settlement thanks to my amazing lawyer, Brian Breiter.

Because the person who hit me had just the minimum insurance required by CA law, it was likely that I would be stuck with exorbitant medical bills. Mr Breiter was able to convince MediCal that I shouldn't be liable which saved me from having to be responsible for them.

Mr Breiter and his team always keep me updated on the case and where it stood but were also available when I had questions.

So if you're looking for a truly great personal injury attorney, I highly recommend the Law Offices of Brian Breiter.

I was in a bike accident a few years ago. A friend of mine recommended Brian to me. It’s been a long process, but patience wins in the end. I most appreciate Brian’s no BS approach. It was made clear to me the process and what we were getting into. With the expectations set, I was content, and needless to say it was well worth the wait. Thank you to Brian and his crew!

Life is nothing if not unpredictable and one beautiful day as I was crossing the street a car pulled into the wrong lane and hit me. Although my injuries were few I suffered a particularly severe fracture of my tibia and fibula, which required an intense surgical procedure called an intermedullary tibial nailing, which involved having a rod inserted down the length of my tibia and held in place with a screw in my ankle and 4 screws at the top of my tibia. I was allowed absolutely no weight-bearing for months, and an unknown date for when I’d be walking unassisted again.
The fear and vulnerability that came from having my independence and financial security taken away from me is what propelled me to google “best personal injury lawyers.” Mr. Breiter’s name was the first one that came up and I called him after reading multiple positive reviews. From our first point of contact he treated me with empathy, respect, and professionalism. During that initial time of upheaval and constant worry he not only guided me through the legal steps but he also reassured me and made recommendations that made the healing time more bearable. He totally had my back and we were in the process together.
In the first 9 months after the accident I went from using a walker, to crutches, and finally to a cane. One of the screws had to be surgically removed because it had started to work its way out of my leg and I could actually see it pushing against my skin from the inside out. At 10 months I could walk without the use of a cane so I was able to start working part time. It was another 3 months until I could get through a whole day without having to elevate and ice my leg and it would be years before the inflammation was gone for good.
Due to the length of my healing time, and the fact that the defendant lived in another country, the legal process took longer than either of us expected. Mr. Breiter kept me updated on every step, and reassured me every step, and wouldn’t accept the lowball offers that the Defendant’s insurance company made. His advice, insight, and patience were invaluable and in the end their insurance company saw the light and we settled for a very satisfactory amount.
Mr. Breiter is not only an experienced attorney but he is an upstanding human being as well. There was never any pressure to do, or not do, something I didn’t agree with or didn’t fully understand. He explained legal tactics and terminology I wasn’t familiar with, serenely guided me through the mediation process, was always available when I reached out to him, and was such a pleasure to work with. I was one of those people who didn’t believe I would ever hire a personal injury lawyer, partly because I never imagined I would be in a situation that warranted it, but mostly because they don’t have a very good reputation. Mr. Breiter completely changed my mind and I cannot express enough how helpful, thorough, friendly, confident, experienced, and personable he is. I have so much gratitude towards him and his staff for helping me through a difficult time and for providing me with such a pleasant conclusion to this journey.

Brian Breiter and his team are the best personal injury law firm in Los Angeles. I categorically disagree with the recent one star reviewer who is harshly judging Brian as a person and as a lawyer based on a phone call. Brian and his team were incredibly helpful and supportive in handling my personal injury case. While working with Brian, I got to know some of his other clients. I met one client whose settlement only covered his medical bills. Brian took no professional fee for his services. This is truly exceptional. Many personal injury lawyers will take 33% of the settlement no matter what the amount. I know this because I am in a line of work which involves interacting with PI attorneys on a regular basis. Knowing what I know about numerous LA PI attorneys, Brian was the first person I called after my car accident. Not my Mom, not the police - Brian. He is kind, extremely smart, available - even after hours and on weekends - and he will go to bat for you whether it be in mediation or in the court room. Some PI lawyers never see a court room and would not know what to do inside a court room. In the event your case goes to trial, Brian is best in class at making and defending his client's case. I know this because I have seen him in action and it is truly something to behold. Thank you Brian and your team for all of your hard work and for your successful outcome with my case!

The Team over at the Law Offices of Brian Breiter are the most professional well organized effective team in Los Angeles. I was in a very bad car accident April of 2015 and thanks to them I was well taken care of, sent immediately to the best doctors in Los Angeles and always checked up on to see how my recovery was going. The doctors played a huge part in my recovery but the Team over at the Law Offices of Brian Breiter played an even bigger part in the success of my recovery. Every phone call asking me how I was doing was followed up by “don’t worry, we are going to get your the best doctor possible for this.” I am truly in thanks to Brian, Mark and the whole team over there. Once again THANK YOU for everything.

I was in a terrible car accident in 2014. I was working as a security guard for a company driving a small vehicle when I was here at T-bones by a large car transportation semi truck yet. The impact was so bad that my car went spinning, and I was knocked unconscious for several minutes. I didn’t know what to do, but my cousin knew an attorney, Brian Breiter and his partner Mark Rubashkin. I called Brian on his cell phone on a Sunday and he picked up and told me exactly what to do, go to the hospital! I did, and over the next several years treated with orthopedic and neurology doctors. My injury was bad and it took a long time to improve. The case went to mediation but didn’t settle and Brian and Mark continue to prepare the case for trial. The week before the trial the insurance company for the trucking company gave in, and paid the full policy limits on my case!. I am so thankful To Brian and Mark for always being there for me, answering my questions, taking my calls, and just being good guys. I really mean it, if you need an attorney, at least call Brian and Mark to talk to them so that you can compare them to the rest. I promise you after you talk to them you will beg them to take your case, I am lucky I had them on my team. Thank you guys. Your friend Francis.

3 years ago I tripped on construction debris left behind by the maintenance crew for my apartment building. I remember falling forward but nothing more. I regained consciousness some minutes later. I was grateful for my Oral B electric toothbrush that night, doing all the work because I was pretty sure my arms needed to be glued back into their sockets.

I woke early the next morning in bad pain and with new symptoms of an accident I couldn't remember. I was in this odd state of confusion during work and was all squinty-eyed trying to stay focused and failing. Even though I was dizzy, nauseous and my head hurt, it was the mind stuff that scared me.

I hit the internet and read Yelp reviews and attorney websites for a couple of hours. I looked at photos that clients had posted. Some of the photos made me hesitate: my car isn't crumpled and my bicycle tires are still fully inflated. I don't have stitches, scars, or a plaster cast. I didn't call the police or an ambulance when I fell. I had a gash on one dangly arm and an abrasion on the other. I was confused and in massive pain, but neither of those photograph well. I didn't even have a witness.

From my internet research, I selected a list of 5-star attorneys to call. The conversation with the first attorney was efficiently commandeered by him and went something like this:
Attorney: So tell me what happened.
Me: Well, I was taking some garbage out on Sunday night and I tripped...
Attorney: Ouch. Okay. When can you come in?

Scratch that dude (I didn't like his receptionist either).

Next on the list was Brian Breiter's office. His staff handled my call perfectly. Brian and Mark Rubashkin, Esq. asked a zillion questions until they fully understood the accident and injury. I asked my own questions and made a few bad jokes. They didn't hang up. They made me feel comfortable and cared for.

The three years since my accident have been hard. I was diagnosed with a bunch of bad stuff and take a bunch of pills. My daughter moved in to care for me. Sometimes I feel down. Sometimes I fall down. I understand the phrase "to battle fatigue" because sometimes I sleep for days. I gained 30 pounds from medication. I still have doctor appointments every week. Work is suffering because everything is so difficult.

Through these hard three years, Brian and his legal team kept my case moving forward. My new life after the accident was so consuming of my attention that if Brian didn't carry my case, it would have gone nowhere. When my participation was needed, Brian was supportive and explained the legal processes and what was expected of me.

Then one day the sun came out--Brian called and said the case was settled for the full amount. No trial, no troubles, no additional trauma: it was done. Working with Brian was so simple; I got to focus on getting well, and Brian and his team handled the rest. I would recommend Brian to anyone.

n September 2017 I was Hit by a truck while driving in Studio City, CA. It was a beautiful Saturday evening and I was struck out of nowhere, the driver claimed he didn't see me. I was scared out of my mind, black and blue from head to toe and couldn't hardly move. I had neck pain that I had never experienced in my life. Upon being released from the hospital a close friend suggested I call Attorney Brian Breiter. Looking back now by far the best decision I ever made. Upon Meeting Brian Breiter and his Team they listened to me and made me feel completely comfortable and confident that they would be able to help me and if need be go to trial. They assured me that these cases could take years to resolve. It's been a little bit more than two years and I am happy to Report we WON !! Brian, Mark, Jeff, Tim, CJ and Peter came through in a Big Way they deserve 5+ all day long I honestly couldn't be more thrilled with each and everyone of these "Kind Souls" they cared and were concern for my well-being each and every step of the way.

I’m sitting still in traffic when a van plows into me from behind, totals my full-sized pickup, permanently injuring my neck, knocking me unconscious, and sending me for an ambulance ride to the hospital. Slam dunk liability, right? Wrong! The other driver’s insurance company completely ignored me. Nothing. Not even a polite response. Luckily, a friend told me to call Brian Breiter, who said basically, “Let me handle it.” And he did. Brian and his team made sure I got the medical care I needed, and they stared down the insurance company. Brian told me from the beginning it would take a long time – “They are going to drag this out and try to make you quit.” Well, it did take a long time, but we didn’t quit, and the other side eventually settled – just a couple of days before the trial was set to start. Call Brian! Or Mark or Jeff or Peter! They will take care of you like a friend.

In 2017 I was injured in an auto accident after my sedan was totaled by a dump truck that ran a red light. As you might imagine, that was not great for my body and I found myself with multiple herniated discs in my neck. When I realized I was looking at a long expensive recovery and likely needing surgery, I reached out to several attorneys, all whom told me that they couldn't help me with my case. I was feeling dismayed, but then, through sheer luck (and some internet research), I found Brian (via Super Lawyers, where he is highly rated) and what a blessing that was.

From the first call, Brian and Mark made me feel like my case was being dealt with properly and that we wouldn't be ignored. This part I feel is really important to share: They never once pressured me to settle or do anything I wasn't comfortable with. They were there to support me the entire way. When I would get worried that the case was never going to be resolved, Mark and Brian would be there to reassure me everything would be ok.

After a long, slow process Brian got me a settlement I was thrilled with and we avoided going to trial, which I was very much not looking forward to, even though Brian was excited about it. Besides being excellent at lawyering, Brian is a pleasure to converse with and told me that if we went to trial he would smoke me a brisket. Since we didn't go to trial, I had to settle for a slider.

I hope you never need a personal injury attorney but if you do, Brian is the one you want. He is a razor sharp, top notch trial lawyer who will not rush to settle when it's not in your best interest. I truly can't recommend him and his team enough. While I hope to never require his services again, I would never call anyone else and neither should you.

Contacted Brian and the team after seeing the great reviews on Yelp.

A Toyota Tundra truck ran a two way stop sign and t-bone the driver side of my civic. Totaled in the process. Till today, I can still see and feel the heat from the grille from the truck. The driver not once did come by to check to see if I was ok, and had the nerve telling others that I was speeding when others said I was not. While the fire department was using the "Jaws of Life" cutting the door, my pregnant wife drove by and saw the accident with me in the car with a drape over me to protect me from the glass and debris, but you can imagine what she was thinking. So to say I was livid is an understatement and wanted the best possible team to handle the case.

My wife and I picked out a hand-full of lawyers to see and were on our way. Brian's office was last on list due to distance and we were so close to not going because I was exhausted over re-living what happened, luckily my wife is the voice of reason and convinced me to see Brian and I thank her enough for that.

Brian's office just had a different vibe, it felt more like you were going to see a friend than an "ambulance chaser". From the first meeting, it clicked. We retained them right away, things just started moving. They would follow up with me regularly to let me know what was going on and frankly, I trusted them to a point when they would ask me what they wanted me to do, "I would just say I trust you guys, go with whatever you think is right". They handled everything from A-Z. I can't give the number but the result was 4x the amount of the best original offer. Big thanks to Brian, Jeff, Mark and the Team.

Brian Breiter is a terrific attorney. My mother had an injury that left her physically disabled and emotionally scarred. Brian and his wonderful offices were able to get the full settlement amount in the most painless and compassionate way possible. My sister and I were both summoned to the deposition to speak about her injuries and the impact that they've had on her life since, who she was as a person and her abilities prior, and the facts of the incident itself as we remember it. Brian was incredibly forthright and patient with me. It put me at ease, so that when I was asked to speak I could be honest and genuine, and was able to take my time and give the best testimony I was capable of. The entire thing was extremely difficult, owing to the stress and pain of seeing my mother be changed by circumstances beyond her control. Having Brian there as her support was absolutely crucial and a huge relief for me and my sister. He is also extremely amiable, honest, and intelligent. I do not believe we would have had the positive outcome--monetarily, but more importantly emotionally--with any other attorney. It was extremely important to me that my mother not be overburdened by the case, as she has had rehabilitation from the injury to worry about, and Brian and his offices have went above and beyond for her. Our whole family is extremely grateful to them.

A few years ago my Mom suffered life-changing injuries after falling over unfinished construction that her landlord neglected to complete or make safe. Ever since, she has been living with a slew of debilitating neurological and psychological symptoms, as well as physical injuries. She was no longer able to keep up with the demands of her job, drive, or live the life she imagined for herself as she had to rely on my sister and I for help with daily tasks and errands that she could no longer do on her own. We even moved her closer to us so that we could reach her in the event of an emergency.
Her injuries have affected every part of her life as well as my sisters and mine. l honestly can’t put into words how upside down our world has been turned.

My mom contacted Brian’s law office in hopes that she could get some form of justice for what happened to her, and to somehow find a way to cover the sky-high stack of ongoing medical expenses she is facing.

Brian and Mark were incredibly kind, extremely knowledgeable, and helped her every step of the way.
It was Brian that helped us find some of the best doctors to take care of her, and it was Brian that helped us successfully reach a million dollar settlement. Her injuries still exist and probably always will, but now we don’t ever have to worry about being able to afford quality care.

Just in case you read this, Brian: My mom is the most important person in the world to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you and Mark have done for her and our family. I don’t know what we would have done without you.

I was involved in a car accident a couple of years ago, and had sustained serious injuries, and was left with a car which was totaled. After researching attorneys online, I came across the Law Offices of Brian Breiter. From the first phone call, he made me feel at ease, and gained my confidence that they could fight on my behalf until full resolution of the case.

Their team guided me through the whole process of recovery seamlessly. They were very helpful and were sympathetic to all of my questions and concerns.

I recently settled the case, with a very satisfying result. I have fully recovered from my injuries, and have put all of the trauma of the accident behind me.

The experience working with Brian, Mark, and Peter has been exceptional. They are not only competent, honest attorneys, they are also very nice guys.

THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL, believe me. I am so grateful I called Brian and his team. Cheers.

Brian was an extremely compassionate and excellent lawyer! I was involved in a traumatic car accident where my family and I were rear ended by a semi truck. He fought to make sure all my medical and therapy bills were covered. I highly recommend as not only a great lawyer, but a genuinely good person as well!

In 2013 we were hit by a drunk driver (almost head on--thank God he swerved at the last minute) on a weekend morning. I knew Brian Breiter had helped several friends of mine so I called him later that day after ambulance trip to the hospital, scans, exams and treatment. He picked up right away, was calming, compassionate, and confident as he advised us of what to do--the first being "focus on getting well, and I'll take care of the rest". (Some things I've learned after getting to know Brian: He truly loves to help people, he's incredibly smart, tenacious, funny, generous, and he doesn't get ruffled by all the crud that goes on in the insurance and legal industries. He understands how to navigate it and come out on top).

The accident gave me 4 injured discs in my neck and bad daily chronic nerve pain (still ongoing) that affected my ability to drive, sit, sleep, care for myself, or have energy for anything else, as well as a broken foot. I had no idea who to go to for help, advice, or treatment. By Monday, Brian's team had an appointment for me with an orthopedic surgeon and physical therapy, and repair for our car.

I was given realistic information up front from Brian that these kinds of cases take time, and because of his many years of successful experience with personal injury cases, he gave me perspective on a likely progression of treatments that might be advised to me or I might want to seek out before surgery (which prepared me for the various neurosurgeon/ortho meetings I had and decisions I had to make). He also knows the best doctors in town. I began my long journey of meeting doctors, tests, MRIs, treatments, more PT, all of which I couldn't afford out of pocket initially until I got better insurance. Brian, Mark and the team negotiated great treatment on liens so I could continue to work on healing, which in itself is very stressful, and thoughts of what the future would bring physically and financially were very scary. They even negotiated with my insurance company for reduced rates.

I never had to answer a letter, phone call, or deal with insurance companies or the other person's attorneys; Brian and his team handled it all, which gave us incredible peace of mind. He patiently held firm as the other side continued to low-ball us. Brian knew we had a good case and how to present our case in the best possible way. Brian, Mark, Jeff, and team prepared us for the deposition (Jeff was with us and did an excellent job of advising and protecting us); they sent a nurse with me to support me during the defense doctor's examination to ensure that I would only have to answer the necessary questions. We were prepared and never alone each step of the way. Brian held firm, and the defense attorneys settled for the highest amount without us having to go to trial.

I'll be honest; these kinds of life changing events are really stressful, even with help. I can't imagine what it would have been like without Brian and his team. We are really grateful for Brian, Mark, Jeff, Kamesha, Jennifer, Clint, et. al. This is why everyone calls and refers Brian, and you will too.

Brian Breiter and his team deserve each and every one of these stars.. and then some. It's definitely obvious why they have so many excellent reviews from clients that they have helped.

My brief story: I was hit by a car while biking, the car fled the scene. On top of the black eyes, contusions and bruises, probably a concussion, I also had a fractured arm. I was unhappy with the medical care I was receiving and was also afraid to even contact my insurances (I thought they might raise my rates, who knows). I really didn't even know who to call. I spoke to a friend about my situation and he recommended that I call Brian immediately. Brian took my call, gave me a plan of action and put all of my worries to ease. He also sent me to see another orthopedic surgeon that I felt much more comfortable with.

I'm finally all healed up (thankfully the fracture didn't require surgery), done with physical therapy, and besides a little PTSD that still lingers I'm going to be ok :)

Brian and his team handled everything with my insurance and went COMPLETELY above and beyond what I ever could have expected from an attorney's office. But, clearly they aren't just an average attorney's office, they are in fact superheroes! I am so appreciative, beyond grateful, and would highly recommend them.

Brian and his firm are absolutely the best. They were sincere, empathic, and thorough from beginning to end. Their communication was straight forward and clear, and they approached everything with fairness from consultation to justice. Finding genuine consul in this business isn't always the norm, but Brian and his team truly care about the clients they take on, and fight for them even in the most difficult of circumstances. Truly grateful to have them represent me, and I highly recommend this firm. Thank you Brian, Jeff, and Mark for everything.

I'm so happy that I chose to work with Mark Rubashkin and Brian Breiter at the Law Offices of Brian Breiter! Could not be more thrilled. I knew from the moment I started working with them, that they really care about people. They were so concerned that I take care of my health, and see doctors to make sure my injuries were handled. I was hit by a drunk driver in Brentwood, CA.

Mark was never pushy or disrespectful. I was always treated as if my case were the most important case they had. I know I chose to work with people with impeccable integrity, and it showed every time I met with them. I was reassured that my case would get me the dollar figure I needed (a lot!), if I trusted that they knew what they were doing.

There were times when I told Mark that I wanted to just end it, since it was taking a long time. But Mark made sure to let me know everything that was going on with the case, and why the other side was taking their time. So, as hard as it was, I waited patiently. You should know that when I wanted to settle, even though it also meant less income for The Breiter Firm, Mark told me I could settle at any time, it was MY case, my decision. There was no pressure to do what I felt was not in my best interest. THAT IS INTEGRITY.

Well, we JUST SETTLED! I got more than I expected, but it was the amount that Mark had told me they would be targeting (though, of course, he could not promise).

I would also say, you should work with them, absolutely. You should trust them, and let them do their work. I didn't call them very often over the three years it took to settle, but I was always informed of anything going on in a timely manner.

You should go, just to see Brian's action figure collection, or his life-size Iron Man! See my photos. They are good people.

I would like to say, "Thank you" to The Law Offices of Brian Breiter. The service I received from Jeff, Mark, and Brian is incomparable! I was a complete wreck after I was hit by a taxi and these guys were so caring and AMAZING with me. If you are in need of a lawyer who can get things done for you, I highly recommend Brian Breiter. I promise you that you will be taken care of from the minute the receptionist takes your call to the very end of your claim. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to have had The Law Offices of Brian Breiter on my side. This office isn't in the competition w/other lawyers... I phoned up Brian after being involved in a car accident in Santa Monica where I was injured. I got in contact with Brian after seeing his pretty incredible yelp reviews and thought this guy must be able to help. I had found another attorney on Google a few weeks before and they were awful. Brian and Mark made me feel comfortable right away that someone was actually dealing with my case.

The insurance company offered me a terrible valuation for my totaled car, mark and Brian actually got me double the initial offer from the insurance company, and made sure that the most important thing right off the bat was me getting the correct medical attention to get me feeling better.

Throughout the whole process these guys were pretty great, I would defiantly recommend Brian and mark to anyone. When there are a lot of guys out there that aren't willing to go the distance, these guys are!

This review is LONG overdue but let me start out by saying that Brian and his team are the real deal. Anyone looking for an amazing attorney should look no further. If you need help and are lost due to an accident that has caused major out of pocket expenses as well as unwanted pain and suffering, then please seek out Brian. Nobody will care more about your case I promise you!

On September of 2015 I was involved in a motor vehicle accident where a semi-truck crashed into me due to careless driving. I was a college student at the time and was halfway through my nursing program when this accident turned my life upside down. This crash left me with a totaled car, with a complete fractured wrist (my dominant hand) which needed two major surgeries, and forced me to withdraw from the nursing program for 6 months pushing back my graduation date. You can imagine how helpless I felt as all of this was unexpected and not in my control.

Right after the accident I was super lost and knew I needed help. I was stressed while looking for attorneys because I really just wanted someone who could help me seek justice. Thankfully I met Brian and knew right then and there that he would take care of me. The first time I met Brian I could just tell he was a genuine human being that truly cared. This is where Brian literally saved my life! I kid you not, all the stress and uncertainty of trying to get justice from this whole mess was erased by having Brian as my attorney.

It was a grueling 3-year case which we ended up taking to trial. The defense was trying to give us a mediation amount that was barely covering the medical bills. However, Brian was so passionate about my case and he kept on saying this was worth more than what they were offering so he pushed for a trial. I was very nervous taking it to trial but with Brian’s expertise in the courtroom I can say that I had the very best experience. I was guided every step of the way and I had all of my trust in him and his team. Brian and his colleague, Jeff, were so passionate about my case in court that I cannot thank them enough for what they did to help me. We spent a whole week in trial together and I’ve never seen such compassionate and determined individuals speak the way these two spoke for me in front of a jury and a judge. They really care about what they’re doing and who they represent as clients and I can assure you that working with Brian is not a mistake. The jury unanimously sided with us and even gave a verdict way more than what we were asking for.

I wish this accident had never happened, but since it had, I’m forever grateful I had Brian by my side. You won’t find anyone who cares more about you and will put in the amount of work they had the way Brian and his team did. I came into this whole thing with Brian being my attorney to Brian being family and a close friend. You won’t find an attorney better than him, 5 stars doesn’t even suffice!

What are the attributes people look for when they are in dire situations which require a trial lawyer’s assistance?
For us it was the following to name a few:

- knowledge of the law and medical industry
- Trial experience
- Commitment to the client’s case
- Trustworthiness
- Accessibility
- Intelligence
- People skills
- Effective communicator

Brian Breiter is all of the above and much more.....

We started looking for a trial lawyer the day after my accident. On the morning of March 4th 2017, I went for my usual hike on the hills around my neighborhood! On my way back, as I was crossing the street (legally, with having the right of way) I was struck by a car. According to the witnesses, I was thrown several feet up in the air and then the driver ran over my leg like a speed bump! Both the tibia and fibula bones in my leg were broken in many places which required immediate surgery. The bones on my hand were also shattered which subsequently had to be operated on a couple of months later! As I was lying down in the hospital bed with so much pain, all kinds of drugs being pumped in my body, my wife and I realized that we would have to start searching for a lawyer immediately. After an extensive search, we came across Brian’s firm. From our very first conversation, we connected with Brian and felt at ease. He even came to our house to visit me since I was unable to move.

During our ordeal we learned about Brian’s insatiable hunger to do everything in his power to win for his clients while being gracious, generous and kind.
We witnessed his masterful display of knowledge and experience during the trial. From how he memorized the names of every potential juror within minutes and connected with them to the way he encapsulated our story, going through the emotions, pain, suffering etc..... The closing argument was the most impressive... No stones unturned... Brian is our hero. What else could we ask for.....

We also had the opportunity to work with Tim during our and witnesses’ depositions and what a blessing that was. Being a defense lawyer for many years, Tim brings a very unique perspective to the table. His insight was invaluable. So was his calm demeanor.

Then we met CJ during our trial, such a fine young man with such impressive skills, so much empathy and desire to do the best for the client. During our trial, he would stay up late every night to work on the presentations for the jury to make sure our case was presented the best way possible. With all the effort Brian and his team put into our case, we were awarded a considerable amount for which we are enormously grateful.

Brian and his team put their heart and soul into our case. It was a real pleasure to work with such a group of true professionals. Brian Breiter and his team were the best lawyers we could have asked for.

Brian Breiter, Mark Rubashkin and Timothy McCormick got me through the longest journey of my life. I was referred to the office by one of the top orthopedic surgeons in LA after a shoulder injury caused by a heavy ceiling panel falling on me. After interviewing a few law offices, I had no doubt that Brian and his team were the right ones to fight for me. They took a detailed report of my personal injury case and quickly went to work.
The defendant claimed for years that they were not at fault and that I had no case but my team refused to back down. They spent countless hours tracking down and deposing everyone involved to find holes in their stories and gather evidence. They also spent hours prepping me for my nerve-wracking deposition.
After threatening to take them to trial, the defendant decided to go to mediation. Brian and the team made sure I had a date set with a brilliant and seasoned mediator. After hours of back and forth, we were able to settle the case! But that wasn't the end.. I had racked up an exorbitant amount in medical bills. They then spent days on the phone fighting for the doctors to lower their costs so I would get top dollar for my injury. I am thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend this team to fight for anyone who may need it!

Thank you!!!

“A Team Approach with One of the Most Adept Trial Lawyers in the Business is What You Get with Brian Breiter and His Firm”

On my motorcycle heading to Cal State where I teach, a woman driving solo in the HOV lane crossed the double solid yellow line cutting me off and causing me to crash. Unfortunately, my left wrist was broken, and I’m left handed.

While she admitted fault to the CHP, it was the first time I’d ever been in an injury accident, and I didn’t want to be stuck with a pile of medical bills. So, I went to Yelp, and found Brian Breiter’s firm.

The injury attorneys on the billboards all settle. Nice for them, not so nice if you’re their client. They go for the easy money not for the maximum a policy offers.

Brian Breiter’s not afraid to go to trial because he’s one of the most successful injury litigators in the business.

And you want a lawyer that’s comfortable in the courtroom even if you don’t end up going, as was the case with me.

The threat of a jury trial with an attorney of Brian’s reputation who has won some of the largest injury claims in court has the insurance company lawyers pleading for their clients to pay the max limit to avoid going millions of dollars over in front of a judge and jury.

Additionally, Brian’s decades of experience bring with them a network of connections.

So when I went to mediation, Brian knew a top-notch mediator.

But you don’t just get Brian Breiter: you get a team.

Mark Rubashkin acted as the overall strategist, explaining the fine points of injury law in a way that made sense to me. For instance, he explained to me that we had to file for a trial date to let the insurance company know we were serious.

And Timothy McCormick was my guide as he and I walked through depositions and medical appointments. He also helped me understand the mediation process, and prepared me for it.

In the end, the combined efforts of these three seasoned attorneys led to Brian saying to me, “They offered us $490,000.”

Since $500,000 was the policy maximum, I said “Great!”

“No, not great,” Brian said, “We are not going to let you take anything less than the full policy or we’ll go to trial and get you several million. You have at least one surgery ahead of you, and I want to make sure you’re taken care of.”

Brian’s genuine concern as well as the top-tier legal savvy that he, Mark and Tim had demonstrated over the months during the case had me say, “Okay,” in spite of every fiber in my body wanting me to yell, “Let’s just take the $490,000 and call it a day!”

A few nerve-wracking days later the insurance company’s lawyers got back to us . . . and I got the full policy.

Brian Breiter and his team were there for me through one of the toughest times of my life! I was enjoying my new life in Los Angeles after moving from Louisiana when my life changed drastically. In 2016, I was struck by a car while riding my bicycle. I sustained significant injuries to my neck, back, and knee. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was sent home with a knee brace, crutches and pain meds. The next morning I woke up in a tremendous amount of pain, I could hardly move or turn over without crying. It was the worst pain I had ever felt!

My sister searched for lawyers to take on my case and she came across The Law Offices of Brian Breiter. After meeting with Brian and his team, I was so confident and 100% sure that I had made the right decision to hire his firm. Upon our first meeting I could tell that Brian and his team were very caring and passionate about the cases and their clients. Any questions I had, they were willing to answer in great detail and with honesty. They made sure I received treatment by some of the best doctors and physical therapists in Los Angeles. They took care of any upfront medical bills as well.

Everyone at Brian’s office is pleasant and Mark is truly one of the nicest, most genuine and helpful people I have met. He was always there to listen to any worries or concerns I had, even if he wasn't in the office I was able to reach him by cell. Mark and I would speak regularly to discuss any updates, upcoming appointments and the overall status of my case.

Unfortunately, a few months after the accident I lost my job. I was very distraught! At the time, I was an emotional wreck. Everything went downhill from there! I couldn’t afford to pay my bills, struggled to make ends meet and was on the verge of losing my apartment. I called the office and spoke to Mark about my circumstance, he sent me an advanced check to help me get back on my feet. I was truly grateful!

I have been through so much these past three years, things most people couldn't even imagine. When an accident happens you don't know how much it will affect your life. It's truly a life changing event that can have a major impact for years to come. I for sure didn't expect my life to change as much as it has. I didn't think I would lose my job and be without work, or suffer life changing injuries, emotional distress and depression all at once. I still live with some of the physical pain caused by my accident.

When I look back at everything that has happened in the past three years, one thing I can say for sure is that I do not know if I would be as resilient as I am if I had not had an amazing team to help support me through this. Brian and Mark would always encourage me to hang in there when I felt like things were unbearable. As I type this review, I can hear Brian saying “this is not a race, it's a marathon”. It truly was a journey! And Brian and his team fought for me until the very end! Once the case settled they were able to get my medical bills reduced to a great amount.

They have worked hard since day one and have helped support me through some of my worst times! I now consider them family and honestly could not have asked for a better team! I am very grateful and appreciative. I HIGHLY recommend hiring The Law Offices of Brian Breiter and Team for your personal injury case.

After being injured in a car accident I really felt helpless.. I had never been in an accident before first talking to Brian but he instantly made me feel at ease and helped me through every step of my recovery and was able to get my maximum settlement.

I was a full time student in dental school at the time so I found Brian online after reading great things about him and his team, and I can honestly say they were all spot on! I worked mainly with Mark who was absolutely amazing, not to mention extremely patient. He answered a million questions for me and always made me feel like a friend rather than a client.

From helping me obtain the appropriate treatment to answering the phone any time I called (including weekends!), I can honestly say this is the best team you could ask for and I highly HIGHLY recommend! They helped me through a very tough situation and for that I am forever grateful. Thanks Brian Breiter!!

Brian is very passionate and precise attorney. I got 7 fractures from the accident and my body was getting worse and worse each day. I have no legal knowledge and he helped me out. My friend found him with 5 stars reviews in various websites and recommended me to contact him at the first. He immediately went to the building where I got injured and got extra evidences by taking several pics which I haven't thought about the importance. I believe this weighed on my side a lot. Thereafter, he geniunely worked very hard for me with Mark. They timely responded my questions all the time and let me have trust and patience with them. They also well explained the timeline and the range of maximum and minimum I can get from the lawsuit. The case is settled and I got fully satisfied with the result. I highly recommend them to you! Thank you for all of your effort, Mark and Brian.

P.S. You guys may have an extra reason to visit his office if you are a big fan of Marvel and Simpson. Visit him and see what I mean :)

5 stars for Brian Breiter and company! While waiting at a dead stop at a crosswalk I was rearended and pushed 50+ feet! Clearly the other drivers fault. I was left in pain and sustained injuries making it difficult to walk. I couldn't even go to work for a week and since my job involves lots of lifting I had to be on modified duty upon return to work. After this experience I just wanted to get a new car, get paid for my minimal medical expenses, and for my week of missed work. I tried to work with the insurance company who were willing to pay for the car but nothing else. They kept giving me the run-around. All I wanted was to get paid for the money lost and move on with my life in spite of my continued back and leg pain. After trying to work with the insurance company for weeks I decided I needed to get legal help. That's when I found Brian Britner. He was happy to take my call and speak with me at length about what happened. He then had me come in and meet him and Mark (the lawyer assigned to my case). We went over the events using model cars and then got down to the case. What really came through was their genuine concern for me and my well being. Seeing that I was clearly still injured and in pain they assisted me to find a qualified orthopedic doctor and a physical therapist. After several months my pain was mostly gone but the insurance was still being difficult but now I had a lawyer on my side! After several months the insurance company finally paid up but instead of the bare minimum (which I had originally asked for) Brain and Mark made sure that I got the maximum covered payout! This covered all my expenses and left me with a big check that I deposited directly to my daughters college fund! Without theses guys I would have been severely underpaid and worse yet I probably would've have gotten the medical care I needed to heal properly and reduce my pain. Brain and Mark are lawyers that care! I want to say an additional thanks to Mark who on multiple phone conversations always kept me informed and patiently explained the process. I am so thankful. These guys made a bad situation better

There aren't enough words to say just how great Brian and his team are. They were able to help my wife and I during a difficult time and were so patient throughout the process, explaining the next steps, and letting us know what to expect. They never made us feel like we were bothering them and spoke to us for as long as we needed, and they were very available. Mark was the person I was in contact with the most frequently and he truly is a treasure. I mean seriously, what a guy, never made us feel rushed always had time and was just really patient and thorough. Brian and his team were able to get us the maximum settlement on our case and we are grateful. This team will not let you down. Thanks Everyone we really appreciate it!

When I got hit by a box truck while bicycling, I was out of sorts in a number of ways (mentally and physically); my roommate advised that I contact Brian Breiter immediately, and I am glad I did. It took over 4 years to settle, and at every step of the way, Brian and his team handled everything professionally and with care. And the care felt genuine, not saccharine, as might be the case with many people dealing with countless personal injuries. The contract was very clear and straightforward, with no fine print or hidden fees. What struck me most of all was the integrity of Brian and everyone I interacted with in his firm. Often times, Personal Injury law firms get a bad rap of being sleazy and profiting off of other people’s misfortune. I had initially thought about not having a lawyer at all, but in retrospect I wouldn’t have been able to represent myself in a case where the defendant would try to cut every corner, meanwhile undertaking the arduous process of healing. “Be honest”, he would tell me, there is no need to exaggerate (as some people might be tempted to do when in this position), making it clear to me that Brian and his team were to be trusted. I could also tell that the team was well respected by their colleagues in the law business, from the interactions I witnessed. Also, he never made me do anything, he could give me his honest opinion on how to proceed, but ultimately each decision was mine to make. These are all qualities I would tell anyone who is looking for a personal injury lawyer to look for, but then if you are still reading this review, you might not need to look any further.

In July of 2016, while I was in at a personal crossroads and going thru a particularly hard time in my life, I was rear ended by a drunk driver. If you're lucky enough to have never been struck by another vehicle, let me tell you-- it is one of the most terrifying experiences one could have the misfortune of going thru. After regaining my composure the best I could all things considered, I got out of my car and proceeded to watch the driver slowly back out of what used to be my bumper, and drive away. I was left completely in shock and unsure of how to proceed. Law enforcement showed up and assisted to a degree, but it wasn't until the next day that the true help showed up.

Not having needed legal representation in the past, I did research online about lawyers in LA and found Brian's office. His was the only call I made, and that the best choice I could have possibly made that day. Brian himself picked up, listened to what happened, gave me advice, was patient and helpful. They took my case, and every day since the accident Brian, Mark Rubashkin, and Jeff Twomey have been lifesavers. I saw very quickly that I could not have navigated this complicated process of insurance companies, getting treatment, and fixing the chaos this accident caused in my life on my own. This accident turned my world upside down in regards to my physical health, and had a devastating affect on my every day existence. They've been there for me in every single way I needed, and have helped me thru this tough past few years. I could not have imagined a team of lawyers doing a better and more thorough job then these guys did. We ended up with a settlement that was beyond anything I would have realistically hoped for or thought possible. Thanks again guys-- my life would not be what it is today had you not been there to help me thru this difficult time in my life. I was lucky and fortunate to find you.

I cannot even begin to express how much I recommend Brian Breiters office for any and all legal services that they provide! In my case I was in an awful car accident one year ago. A woman ran a red light and my suv was totaled I suffered a herniated disc in my neck, a bulging disc in my lower back and rotator cuff tear. I have never been in an accident previous to this ever and was so mentally distraught because I have worked as a personal trainer my entire career, this accident affected every part of my life and was traumatizing! I spoke to and hired Brian Breiter and literally from our first phone call I felt 100% confident that he and his office would help me and I was not wrong. He was thorough, honest, caring and kept me informed every step of the way! His office is seriously amazing and Jeff and Mark are two of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever met! They took everyone of my phones calls and even listened to me while I cried many times, they worked extremely hard on my case, set up any appointments I needed while I was on the phone with them! I received my full settlement in only a year from my accident it was the fastest I’ve ever heard a case being settled, ever! They were so incredibly great in all aspects right down to negotiating down my medical bills. Again I cannot recommend them more, they were like angels in such an awful situation they are the only reason I got through the entire situation with my sanity! They are truly amazing and I’ve never met harder working and honest attorneys in my life! I highly highly recommend them!

Luckily, I haven't had the need of a personal injury attorney but I've recommended Brian to friends who have, and they sing Brian's praises, saying he's really sharp and great to work with.

Brian has also helped me a number of times with consultations. And he has recommended other lawyers who practice in fields he doesn't cover and they were great recommendations. I really can't recommend him enough.

If you're looking for a lawyer who shoots straight and responds quickly you've found your guy.

On October 21st of 2016 I was riding my bike, heading to the store for a quick snack. I was heading east on Rose Ave. toward Lincoln, and keeping a moderate pace in the bike lane. It was a gorgeous day. As I was just entering a crosswalk, I noticed a car coming from the opposite direction was just about to turn left onto the street I was crossing. The driver was moving quite fast and it was clear there was no way for me to get out of the way quick enough. I called out to the driver hoping to get his attention to slow down, but it was clear he didn't see me. As he entered the crosswalk, I tried to veer my bike toward the right to avoid being hit straight on. Both my body and my bike slammed into the front end of his car - passenger side. I went flying in one direction and my bike in the other. The whole event felt like slow motion, yet was only a matter of seconds from the time I saw the car approaching to the moment of impact. The car had hit me pretty hard on the left side of my hip, I flew through the air, and then landed straight onto the same hip. In trying to stand up, I could barely move, which didn't concern me at the time, as I was just grateful to be alive. The man who hit me was in a hurry to pick his son up from daycare, and unfortunately didn't have any insurance.

My good friend immediately took me to the hospital. As we were in the waiting room, she contacted Brian. Several years prior, she had been struck head on by a car while walking across a cross-walk and suffered permanent damage to her back - Brian was her lawyer and helped her tremendously through her case. While in the hospital, Brian advised me on all tests, questions, and images to be taken. The next day we discussed the accident in further detail, and I was grateful for he and his team to take my case. Because the man who hit me didn't have insurance, I filed a claim against my own policy. I have excellent insurance and this is why we pay into things... for our own protection! My X-rays showed that I had fractured my pelvis, one rib, and severe whiplash. Over the next year, I was barely able to walk or even sit for longer than 5 minutes without excruciating pain. This was incredibly challenging for my work, as I'm a Pilates instructor, dancer, and Executive Director of a non-profit. I had to take time off from teaching and performing, and even sitting to work at a computer was challenging.

I am not a person who goes to see doctors. I take care of myself as best I can with holistic practices. So when I needed help and referrals for finding proper physicians to look at my injuries, both Brian and Mark were 100% available.

After about a year and a half of rehab, I'm doing so much better (thank goodness!) Since day one, Brian and Mark have been fully present for me. Helping me along the way, offering support in any way I needed, and have been completely transparent with everything related to my case.

Nearly three years later, and my case has just come to completion - We received the full settlement amount from my former insurance company. I am BEYOND grateful for Brian, Mark, and everyone in their team who had a part in my case - And of course grateful to my friend for calling Brian on that first day.

If you have been in an accident and are looking for the BEST representation, don't hesitate to call Brian's office - He's the best.

In December 2015, my life got flipped upside down when I was struck by a vehicle while bicycling. I was thrown from my bike in a busy intersection and sustained multiple injuries that required a lot of medical attention. After a couple months of being jerked around by my health insurance company to get treatment, I looked up local Attorney's for advice. I spoke with a few I discovered online and didn't get very far into the conversation before I was dismissed. Then I stumbled onto Brian's website & gave a call. One of the Attorney's on Brian's team, Mark Rubashkin, spent a while on the phone with me and answered all my questions. Shortly after, I met with Brian & Mark. After hearing my description of the accident, they were quick to help me find Dr's that would treat me. That, in and of itself justified hiring Brian.

My personal insurance was jerking me around and I honestly just didn't trust the Defendant's Insurance company to get me quality medical care. So, the fact that I could see great Dr's when I needed to was a breath of fresh air. I required multiple surgeries and as time went on, the medical bills were increasing. I was stressed out because the Defendant's Insurer low balled their offer which wouldn't have even covered the Med Bills. Not to mention the future medical costs. Brian did a great job reassuring me that when this was all said & done that we would not be in the red & that my future needs would be taken care of.

The Defendant's Insurers were insistent that they would not pay more than their lowball offer so we prepared to go to trial. We tried mediating but still couldn't come close to an agreement. A second mediation, however, did the trick. We agreed on a very fair settlement that would not only take care of all my medical bills (which they also got heavily reduced), but also give me a life changing opportunity to build on for myself & new family.

In the end, Brian's reputation for trying injury cases & negotiating skills during mediation played a huge factor in changing my life for the better. If you were injured & even THINK you might need a lawyer... Call Brian right now.

Thank You, Brian. Thank You, Mark. Thank You, Chance. Because of you, I have all new puzzle pieces to put my life back together. I'm eternally grateful & will always be a huge advocate.

A couple of years ago it was a beautiful day in Los Angeles and I was driving to the airport, next thing I know I’m in a horrible accident and my life is turned upside down. I’ve never been in a crash like this before, and I knew it was serious. It was obvious I was going to need legal help so I started searching online and asking friends. After doing tons of research I narrowed my search down to two law firms, the Law Offices of Brian Breiter and Movagar and Yamin.

I met with both firms and was impressed with each of them. When I interviewed them, I asked what their opinions were of the other firm, and they both said the same thing, great lawyers you can’t go wrong. I found out after talking with Brian Breiter that Nick Movagar used to work with him and that they often work on cases together. At that point Brian suggested that both firms could work together on the case, and that’s exactly what happened. I thought how can I lose, I get two lawyers for the price of one. Nick was amazing at helping me get access to the best doctors. I ended up needing a serious back surgery, and he found one of the best spine surgeons in Los Angeles.

The recovery was hard, but Brian and Nick made it easy. After the surgery they both arranged to have a nurse take care of me at home so I wouldn’t be alone. Nick arranged for a great physical therapy and after care.

Because the injuries were so serious and my medical bills were high the case had to go into litigation. Nicks firm handled the initial part of the case. When it became obvious that the insurance company was not going to pay what I deserved, Brain took over and prepared the case for the trial.

I felt in great hands with both firms. Nick and Brian made themselves available to me anytime. I had questions, a lot, and would sometimes text them on the weekends or in the middle of the night and they were always there to reassure me. The time came for the trial, but just before that the defense probably got scared and agreed to go to mediation. It was a long hard negotiation and Brian was there the whole way. He was a great negotiator, and we were able to settle the case for a fantastic and very fair outcome.

At the end of the case, Nick was amazing, he made sure that my medical bills, which were very high because I did not have insurance, were reduced so that I was left with a large part of the settlement. I really appreciated how hard he fought for me. It was a hard choice choosing between these two great attorneys, so I chose them both. I was lucky they agreed to work together, they make a great team. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me! 5 star service.

I have nothing but positive things to say for Mr. Breiter. He is a consummate professional who rushed to my assistance with great enthusiasm. His office is smartly run; calls and return calls are handled swiftly and efficiently, and I never, ever feel like just a "number" or a nameless client. Instead, the prompt correspondance always makes me feel like Mr. Breiter is prioritizing me. He was thorough and well-researched in advising me of my options. Brian just handles things, takes the pressure off you and gets things going in your favor. You could do a lot worse than to have this expert in your corner.

I chose Brian Breiter as my attorney initially based on his Yelp reviews. While I realize this may sound crazy, and I understand sometimes Yelp reviews can be “manufactured”, the sheer amount of reviews (complemented by glowing reports) are highly unlikely to be fabricated.
I had the misfortune to be rear-ended at a standstill for the second time within 2 years. I suffered greatly with many injuries including numerous spinal surgeries throughout the first accident, and , again with the second. I had a horrible experience with the representation I received during the first accident and, admittedly, developed a “distaste” (to say the least) for attorneys and a blatant mistrust for their professional guidance.
So, it was with this hardened prejudice that I found myself obdurate toward Attorney Breiter at our initial consultation and, although injured, began spewing my previous negative experience and “been there done that/ won’t take any S*** anymore” attitude.
It was at this time, he simply asked calmly…”would you like a cup of tea”?
I was so taken aback from the kindness of the statement alone, as well as the realization that I was being heard and listened to, and it was shocking. My previous attorney did not acknowledge me personally, just my case and would rush me out of the office for the next “cash cow”…and never once was I offered a beverage. So this was a small, but telling action, and I resolved to retain him that day.
In accident cases, you are likely in a waiting game for about 2 years and during the course of this, you periodically need to update your file with medical records, etc, as you try and heal. You will not always meet with the high man on the totem pole, but instead with assistant attorneys, administrative staff, etc.
I must complement Mark Rubashkin, with whom I had the most interaction. They say employees are a reflection of the top brass, and I had the pleasure to find the rare species of personal injury/ accident firms whose entire staff truly care and who are all kind and considerate with regard to their clients’ welfare. My emails were always answered expeditiously and respectfully, and all phone calls were answered without long waits, or no wait at all. Attorney Breiter even texts with you.
My case was handled with consideration for my future and I was was treated fairly and with dignity. It was with such regard, that, upon receiving the limits of the insurance policy (and no further opportunity to pursue damages), that Brian Breiter’s office even reduced their fee, knowing what I received would not be enough to compensate me for my impending necessary future medical issues.
I doubt any other attorney in this nation would be so considerate.
I am forever thankful for Brian Breiter, Mark Rubashkin, and all the wonderful staff at this firm.
If you find yourself, or your family needs the services of a PI attorney, call them immediately.

I recently had a bad motorcycle accident with serious injuries and needed a lawyer to represent my case. After many comparisons and research, I decided to opt for Brian Breiter's Office and have to say it was a very good experience.

Due to the accident, I had to take care of other things in my life and Brian made it much easier by handling basically every aspect of my case on his own without needing me for much, which left me free to take care of other adjustments I needed to make after the accident. From the beginning, he was very transparent and communicative regarding the case and how the process was going to be handled, communication with his office was almost instantaneous with every question I had answered promptly as well.

I've heard that in many cases these type of process take some time to be resolved, but Brian was able to settle my case in a few months, as well as dropping some of the costs from the hospital I was treated.

There were no running around trying to figure things out, I basically gave him all the information he needed and he got to work, after a few months, he messaged me personally that the case was resolved and made time to make sure that he delivered the final paperwork to me personally, which is a professional gesture I appreciated.

I had a car accident that left me with a concussion, among other injuries. While I was struggling to recover, I simply did not have the capacity to deal with the insurance companies. Once I decided to use the services of Brian Breiter, I immediately felt at ease. He gave me all the information on how we would proceed with my case, put me in contact with doctors that I needed for my recovery and handled everything with the insurance companies. After someone busted a U-turn in front of me from the second lane while I was on my motorcycle, causing me to crash into the side of his passenger door, I contacted Brian Breiter. I was not disappointed.

Quick background: Someone took a lot of photos of the accident scene, showing the car the person was driving was perpendicular in the middle of the suicide lane. It was clear he was in the middle of a U-Turn, which in that particular instance, was an illegal one. In light of this, it would seem obvious he was at fault.

The police report said no one was. In fact, it reported minor damage to my motorcycle (which was actually totaled). The other person made some ridiculous claims that I drove into the suicide lane to go around him as he "merged into the suicide lane". Keep in mind his car was literally side ways in middle of the lane. The officer on the scene bought it. Of course he also took no photographs because if he did his report would look ridiculous.

I was stressed because I read some google information that if the police report isn't in your favor then you're basically screwed.

They won my case, and got the maximum settlement. These guys are unreal.

Brian and Mark's main concern was that I was going to be okay. They went above and beyond their duties and I can't ever thank them enough for everything. This isn't about money because I'll be honest, for the work they didn't make much doing this case. Yet, they treated me like I was their number one priority. They spent so much time with me I honestly don't know how they got any other case done.

If you're reading this or any review on here and you're having doubts: Please call Brian, just speak with him and tell him your situation. You'll be on here too writing a long review and feeling awestruck.

Thank you again, Brian, Mark, your entire team. You've made a friend for life.

They are also caring, sharp, and professional throughout the entire process.

Brian Breiter saved my mom's life.

My 85-year old mom was in a motor vehicle accident with an uninsured motorist. When I got to the scene of the accident, her car was already on the tow truck and she had the police report in her hand. She was shaken up and stressed but said she was fine and just wanted to go home so she could eat ice cream. I told her we should go to the ER but she said no, she just wanted to go home. Reluctantly I obliged though my gut told me that she should go to the ER as I knew that injuries may not be immediately apparent.

Once we got home and while my mom ate ice cream, I went online and Yelped personal injury attorneys. Brian was one of the only personal injury attorneys who had so many 5-star reviews. I read all the reviews and, based on the Yelp reviews, called his office and asked for him. Brian was not available and the person who answered the phone said that their office only deals with catastrophic injuries and gave me the name of another attorney. I called and left a message for this other attorney, then called Brian's office back as I needed guidance regarding taking my mom to the ER even though she said she was fine. Brian answered the phone and I immediately started crying, relieved that he was on the phone. "I know you only deal with catastrophic cases but my 85-year old mom was in a motor vehicle accident, doesn't want to go to the ER, said she was fine and I don't know what to do. Can I at least text you pictures of her car?" I texted pictures of her car to his cell phone while on the phone with him and he replied, "Wow, this was a really bad accident!" He told me to take her to the ER and I did, telling her that Brian Breiter, a personal injury attorney whom I just spoke to on the phone, insisted that we go to the ER. His direction was the impetus that was needed for my mom to be willing to go to the ER.
I took her to the ER and they did chest x-rays and a CT scan of the chest. In addition to the injuries she sustained from the accident, the CT of the chest also revealed a lung mass which, upon biopsy, proved to be lung cancer.

Brian Breiter saved her life by providing the impetus for her to go to the ER where her lung cancer was detected. Brian and his team walked us through the process of receiving generous compensation for her totaled 1987 Volvo. Brian negotiated with everyone who treated her--the physical therapist, orthopedist, ER and all parties to reduce their fees so that my mom could receive the maximum possible settlement from her insurance company since the other driver was uninsured. My mom absolutely adores him and I am immensely grateful that she listened to him and followed his direction to go to the ER. His love, thoroughness and commitment to her case helped us through this accident and her cancer treatment. She underwent successful lobectomy and chemotherapy and is doing exceptionally well.

We are immensely grateful to Brian Breiter and his team for taking our case and saving my mom's life.

My wife and I were viciously attacked by a pitbull on New Years Eve 2015. I was bitten in the face and 1 of our 3 small dogs was killed. We went to Brian a few days after the attack because of all the reviews and we were not disappointed. He worked hard and because our case was not a *slam dunk* we did not expect to get anything due to the nature of there being a renter and owner involved in the attack. He and Mark worked really hard at it and they declined a series of low ball offers that their side kept offering. Between Brian, Mark and the mediator they finally paid 2 weeks before trial!

Awesome job! Thanks for all the hard work and we are truly grateful for all that your team did!

I would like to take time and give Brian a great review , if they had ten stars that’s what he would get , my case took over 2 years to settle and the insurance company was reluctant to pay anything , I was really injured and had to have surgery , Brian walked with me all the way until he settled my case very gracefully, his bills where on point with no hidden fees, thank you guys I will definitely refer my friends to you and keep you close in case anything ever happens again!!

Four years ago, I was walking near my own home when I was hit by an SUV.

Nothing can really prepare you for something like that. The is no step by step guide for what to do next.

All I knew is I needed help. I needed someone to help me go through this step by step as the car that hit me did not call for help, did not report what happened, did not give me any information other than a name and number that went straight to voicemail every time I called.

I found Brian Breiter and Mark through yelp. Every review was truthful and positive. It was clear this was a Team who cared.

I called them and although I was scared, hurt, confused, unsure of what to do, they were there for me.

The minute I saw Brian and Mark, they sent me to a doctor and I got immediate care. From there, we talked about my care every step of the way.

They saw me for what I was: a young wife and mother of 2 young children whose lives had changed from this accident. The compassion and understanding is something that definitely made a difference to my family and I.

Although nothing in the world can ever fix the pain I have or replace the time I lost continuing to recover from this accident, Brian and Mark made sure justice was delivered to my family and I.

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to have found a lawyer like Brian. Thank you Brian, Mark and all the staff!

I found the Law Offices of Brian Breiter on yelp after reading many of his positive reviews. I have to say that I was a bit skeptical about finding a lawyer on yelp but so glad I did. I called him one day as my wife drove me to a doctors appointment following a horrific and tragic car accident where I suffered a fractured spine, ribs, dislocated knee and severe third degree burns which required surgery. He immediately answered the phone and spoke to me for about an hour. Wow, I haven't even signed with him but he took his time to advise me and assist in getting the best medical attention for my injuries. Even though my case was extremely difficult and would probably not have much financial strength, Brian drove to my home on a Saturday morning to review my case and discuss the options. The most surprising part of working with Brian was his sincere level of care for my well being. I'd call him to discuss my case but he would stop me and insist that I address both medical and emotional issues related to my accident. He'd go as far as following up with my wife to make sure I was taking the right steps for my well being and going to all my doctors appointments.
Another surprise of working was Brian was that he ALWAYS answered my calls. Didn't matter if I called him on the weekend or late at night, he'd always take my call or get back to me within minutes. I've worked with many attorneys in the course of my business, but never with one that treated me like a friend and not just a client. Even when my case took a turn for the worst and the outcome looked dim, he still gave me the same level of care and attention. He pursued every avenue to help me and it paid off. At the end, Brian was able to secure me a 7-figure settlement....yes, 7 figures! Me and my family will always be eternally grateful to Brian and his team for their hard work, care, dedication and friendship. I'd advise anyone reading this to not hesitate in hiring Brian and his team.

Brian Breiter represented me following a car vs. bicycle collision. The short of it is that driver misconduct resulted in my upper jaw being fractured and displaced, multiple front teeth damaged or lost requiring extensive dental work including wiring to set the bone and multiple root canals, and vascular and nerve injury to my dominant hand. While my hand recovered full functionality following extensive physical therapy, my mouth was permanently disfigured. He did a phenomenal job. The highlights:
- He took over after another attorney stopped communicating with me, despite that attorney having a lien on any award. What a difference between the two! Brian was 100x better from the first day, and was in constant communication. No extra charge, minimal hassle to fire my first attorney and bring on Brian.
- Through skilled work during witness deposition, he managed to get the defense to admit liability. Initially they had contested it.
- He advised rejection of inappropriately low settlement offers, eventually taking the case to trial. He accurately estimated the worth of the case at a number close to the final jury award.
- He explained and prepared me for the trial process well, and accommodated the time demands of my training as a third year medical student in regards to being present and testifying at the trial.
- He was an effective and charismatic representative in the courtroom. He made the details of the case incredibly clear to the jury, walked me through events of the accident while I was on the witness stand, and he systematically dismantled the defense’s expert witness.
- In fact, he did such a good job preparing for trial and on the day of the trial that the defense seemed to rooting for my side! The
If you’ve sustained a personal injury, Brian is the best lawyer around. Cannot recommend more highly.

A while ago, I was walking and got a hit by a car. The driver pinned my leg against another car and just drove away. I was physically injured and emotionally traumatized by what happened. Brian was there for me and he got me the best medical care and physical therapy available. Brian and his team worked hard to make sure my medical needs were taken care of. They fought to secure a large financial settlement from my insurance company. They even helped to reduce the medical bills and took a smaller fee so I could get more of settlement! I would definitely recommend attorney Brian Breiter and his team to anyone that’s been the victim of an accident!

Brian and his team are the best there is. I called Brian after I was in a car accident 3 years ago. Here are some highlights of the time spent working on my case with Brian, Mark, Jeff, and CJ.
-I was rear ended by a businesses Mercedes Sprinter van in November of 2014 causing herniated discs in my neck and back
-For nearly 3 years, Brian and his team followed my treatment closely, checked in on me regularly, and handled all communication with the defendant and their insurance company, allowing me to focus on my recovery
-A few very low settlement offers were rejected, forcing us to go to trial in November of 2017
-After only an hour of deliberation, the jury came back with a settlement that was over 10 times the last offer
-Brian and his team not only provide 5 star results, they genuinely care about their clients
-Brian's kindness, compassion, and dedication to his clients is immeasurable.

I think it goes without saying that the last 3 years have been an unbelievable roller coaster. There aren't enough words to properly articulate how thankful my husband and I are for Brian and his team. The amount of support, devotion, and hard work put into this case is truly immeasurable. I would never wish injury onto anyone, but if you are injured and need help, Brian is the person you want on your side. My life changed forever in November of 2014, thanks to Brian and his team, my life changed for the better 3 years later and we are eternally grateful.

Brian, Mark, and Tim were extremely helpful and successful after my accident. Accidents are never fun, but they were patient and professional through the whole process. It took about 2.5 years to finally be done but I got way more from it than I ever expected. It is wonderful to find a team so honest, personal, and approachable. When you call they are always willing to talk to you personally and they remembered the details of my case throughout that whole time. Always quick and happy to answer questions throughout the whole process, and at the end they even covered all the expenses! Thank you for helping me through this tough time, I can wholeheartedly recommend this firm to anyone needing help after an accident.

Brian Breiter personally came to see me, while I was still in the hospital recovering from my accident. He explained to me how things could and more than likely will go, and answered any questions that I had. During my recovery Brian and his team was really there for me and I greatly appreciate it. I really appreciate all that they've done and he and his team truly gets the job done! You may be skeptical about all of Brian Breiter's rave reviews. I too was skeptical, but learned firsthand that Brian and his staff really are THAT awesome.

While shopping in a well known retail store, my 89 year old mother slipped and fell in a puddle of water and fractured her hip. The fracture was so severe that it required her to undergo surgery to have a permanent metal rod inserted into the bone shaft to keep her hip and femur attached. Unfortunately, that was not the worst of it. She then had to spend 5 months in a skilled nursing facility undergoing painful rehab in order to learn how to walk again. To this day, she has not completely regained the mobility she had before the accident, and she continues to experience pain on a daily basis.

On top of all that, immediately after the accident, my mother started getting daily phone calls from the store's insurance claims processor demanding that she make a statement regarding the accident. It was then that we realized we needed an attorney to protect my mother against this giant retailer's bullying and harassment. I talked with several attorneys regarding my mother's accident, and Brian was the only one to ask, first and foremost, how my mother was doing and if she was getting the medical treatment she needed. The same day we talked on the phone, Brian drove to the store where she fell and took photos of the accident site. At this point I had a good feeling about Brian, but to be absolutely certain, I went to watch him in trial at a courthouse near where I work. Watching Brian in action was what sealed the deal for me. His compassion for his client and his ability to engage and connect with the jury made me confident that my mother would be in good hands if we hired him.

Don't be fooled by what other attorneys may tell you. It will likely be a very long process and may entail going to trial if you want maximum compensation for your injury. In my mother's case, it was a 2-year long ordeal. The defendant's attorneys kept dragging their feet and didn't really take things seriously until a month before our trial date. Then they tried to portray my mother as someone who caused her own injury, and they made light of the pain and suffering she endured (and continues to endure) in order to force her to accept a lowball settlement. Brian would have none of that, and we actually walked out on 2 mediation sessions because of it. In the end, with Brian's help and negotiation skills, we were able to avoid trial and settle the case for the largest amount reported for this type of injury.

I highly recommend Brian for your personal injury representation. Let Brian and his staff handle everything so all you need to do is concentrate on your recovery. Most of all, be patient. Thank you, Brian, Mark, Jeff, and staff for being there when we needed you and for treating my mother with the care and respect she deserves. It was a long journey, and we couldn't have made it without your help!

About two years ago, I was seriously hurt in an accident. I wasn't at fault and was left with serious injuries, including a fractured spine. Brian was the first lawyer I called. As an attorney myself, I knew Brian's reputation as the best in the business, and in the course of dealing with the case, I saw first-hand how deserved that reputation is. Brian is caring, dedicated to fighting for his clients, and gets results.

With many lawyers, it's hard to reach them, whether because they are too busy or because they don't care. Not Brian. He is also super responsive, and is consistently easy to reach by phone, email, or text. Brian's associate Mark is also an excellent lawyer--as well as an extremely nice guy--and between the two of them I always felt taken care of.

If you have a personal injury claim, or think you might, call Brian. He will have your back and get you the best result. I can't recommend his services highly enough.

My story is a sad one with a happy ending. I was crossing the street leaving work in the crosswalk when a car stopped to let me cross. Unfortunately the car behind him did not stop crashed into that car and struck me. I was almost killed. I had multiple fractures and was taken to Cedar Sinai. thank goodness I had great doctors. However I did not know what to do after, that's when I found Brian Breiter and his law firm. I search the Internet and found many different offices but I chose Brian based on the reviews he had. The reviews of his office were different than other law firm's because the clients really told their stories. That's why I chose Mr. Breiter's office.

After the accident I was so badly hurt I could not travel but when I called Mr. Breiter, he came to my house. He went directly to the police station and was able to get a hold of the report. After I was healed, Brian was able to settle for the full amount with the insurance company and was able to get a huge reduction on my medical and hospital liens, that really helped!

Mr. Breiter was always there to answer my phone calls or my texts, and I was thankful for his advice. I hope you were never in a situation like mine, but if you are make sure you call the law offices of Brian Breiter, they will help you.

I had a very unique case that hadn't really gone through the legal process very often, but Brian was more than willing to take it. First I want to say that he legitimately cared about my personal well-being and we rarely even talked about the case when he first took it. He made sure I got myself to a good place first, and then we worked forward.

Once the case began in earnest his guidance was invaluable. Do what he recommends that you do. Do not stray from his plan. He knows what he's doing and he knows what it's going to take for your case to get a positive result and for you to feel better physically/mentally in the long run. While the option was there to meet with him in person if I chose to, he and his team are more than capable of handling everything via email and snail mail. This will save you a ton of time and stress.

He was very responsive to any questions I had, and once the discussions began with the insurance company he kept me abreast of the latest details and asked for my input when he needed it. He was never pushy and always asked me what I wanted in the case while supplying information from his years of experience to help me make decisions.

Ultimately, the case was settled without ever going to court and I am more than satisfied with the outcome. He took the industry standard from the settlement and there were no surprises or hidden fees when it came time to sign the paperwork. I'm so glad that I found him here on Yelp, so I'm paying it forward and writing a rare review.

Brian is just a good dude. He's very personable and a fun guy to talk to. He's very reassuring while remaining realistic. I now have a lawyer for life, though I hope I never need one again.

As I intend to post a highly detailed review, let me offer some highlights for those not interested in the full story.

* My Wife was seriously injured through a business owners negligence at the end of 2014, and ultimately diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury
* For the past 2.5 years Brian and his team helped us navigate what we found to be an sociopath Defendant who claimed it never happened, an overconfident Defense Counsel and unreasonable Insurance Carrier
* After multiple failed mediations, we were forced to bring this to trial in June 2017 where Brian displayed why he is one of the best plaintiff attorneys in Los Angeles
* Jury unanimously sided with us delivering a verdict that was ten times what the carrier was willing to offer
* Brian and his team will deliver you five star results, but more importantly he cares becoming personally vested in his clients health and well being
* I will be forever grateful to Brian for the care, compassion and kindness he showed to my Family during this very difficult time in our lives - we began this journey as friends but 2.5 years later Brian is now Family.

THE ACCIDENT
In December 2014, my Wife and stay at home Mother of our three children (ages at the time 7, 4 and 1) went to a children's clothing sample sale at a Pilates studio. While squatting down sorting through a pile of clothing, a Pilates reformer (a 6'8" 38.5 lb bench) which was improperly secured came crashing down on her head. She remained conscious, but blacked out for a bit and "saw stars". At first we had no idea the severity of the injury, but after a few days of the symptoms (nausea, neck pain, blurred vision, loss of dexterity in hand, general confusion, inability to suffer light or noise, radiating pain down the arm, severe headaches and migraines) getting progressively worse we knew that this was a serious injury that needed immediate attention. After seeing a number of specialists my Wife was diagnosed with a Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), and was put on a daily dosage of Nortriptalyne and given Maxalt for acute treatment of the Migraines. After the first six months a number of the physical symptoms had gone away with the exception of crippling migraines, she was still only a fraction of herself.

THE CASE
Again, we had no idea the extent of my Wife's injuries but knew we were going to need to retain legal counsel after I visited the Pilates studio where the accident occurred, and the Owner denied the accident happening. My Wife was suffering, our medical bills were adding up and now I have a sociopath calling me a fraud and promising to send my Wife and I to jail - this is when Brian became my friend and attorney. We went through two mediations (June and Sept 2016) with no reasonable offers being presented - we steel ourselves for trial with a date set for June 2017.

TRIAL
This is where Brian and his team (Partner - Steve Hoffman, Associate - Jeff Twomey) truly shone. Finally, on day 4 it was my turn to take the stand and tell our story, Brians direct line of questioning allowed for me to do just - many tears were shed. In spite of what I found to be underhanded tactics by Defense, the Jury unanimously sided with us awarding a verdict ten times what the Defense had proposed - justice was served.

All said it has been a wild 2.5 years, but can tell you at numerous times throughout my Wife and I both said thank g-d for Brian. He helped us through a difficult time, kept us laughing when we wanted to cry and ultimately delivered the best possible result from a terrible situation. I am usually reluctant to offer recommendations/referrals, but in this case I can wholeheartedly and without concern tell you that should you or a loved one find find yourself in a similar situation call the Law offices of Brian Breiter - you will not find a more caring or competent group

Two and a half years ago, many aspects of my life changed in an instant. I was struck in the head by an unsecured pilates reformer board while simply shopping at a clothing sample sale at a pilates studio. I didn't "pass out" as many expect one would from being struck on the head. At the time, I actually thought I was fine and proceeded to drive home and continue on with my day, only thinking that I had some neck pain.
As the week went on, things got a bit worse. I was diagnosed with a concussion the next morning and proceeded to go downhill as the week continued. My husband watched me as I was unable to care for my three kids and didn't know what to do. Concussions were unchartered territory for us so he called an old friend Brian Breiter for guidance. Brian wouldn't give my husband, Adam, any legal advice at all, even though that's his area of expertise. He said there wouldn't be any discussion of legal terms until we figure out my medical situation as health comes first. He advised Adam to get me to the ER where then I was advised to go to a neurologist.
**This was the first of many times Brian and his group put my health and my medical care far above anything else.***
It was December and we all know how difficult it can be to get a doctor appointment at any time, let alone the holidays. Brian and Mark helped me get a neurologist appointment right away when any other doctor we called couldn't see me for months.
Over the last two years, from the first neurologist to other neurologists to psychologists and more, Brian has helped me get appointments with doctors that helped me get answers when it seemed as if there were no answers. He encouraged me to keep trying to get better when I just wanted to crawl into bed and give up. He helped me see that things will continue to get better when I felt myself falling back down. When he didn't have the answer I was looking for, he reminded me that it was probably time for me to go back to the doctor (I'm not usually a person who goes to the doctor often!). More often than not, he would make me laugh when I wanted to cry. Most importantly, Brian was always there with a gentle reminder that this can be a long process and not to give up.

That's just a part of what Brian did, he really did focus on my health first- because that's the kind of person he is. But the reality is, you are probably reading this review because you are interested in him as an attorney and this is where he shines above all.

We attempted several times to settle with the defense to no avail. Brian tried very hard to work with the other side to come to reasonable terms but throughout the entire process, that never happened. After three failed mediations, and listening to Brian's advice, we ended up going to trial. I was nervous heading into court but it turns out there is no one else I would rather have by my side during this entire experience.

In the courtroom, I sat with Brian Breiter, Jeff Twomey, and Steve Hoffman. Mr. Twomey is a very impressive young attorney with a great career ahead of him. Mr. Hoffman blew me away with his medical knowledge and his ability to depose and cross examine the medical experts in the case. He could "out-doctor" any doctor on the stand! Mr. Breiter kept the entire courtroom engaged, entertained, and informed during the entire six day trial. His opening statement and closing argument solidified why he's considered one of the best.
The jury, with only a short two hour deliberation, unanimously sided with us and awarded us more than ten times the amount that the defense ever offered in any mediation.
IF I HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE AGAIN, I'D WISH FOR THE SAME DREAM TEAM OF BRIAN BREITER AND HIS OFFICE

I cannot express the gratitude I have towards Brian and his team! I am so grateful I came across his firm when I was in need from the services of a good attorney. I was in a head on collision on a Saturday & having been in a car accident in the past I knew having knowledgeable legal counsel was important. I messaged Brian and even during the weekend he discussed my case with me giving me advice on what to do next. He scheduled an in person meeting with me & my husband the next week and took care of everything from there so I could concentrate on my recovery. Overall the experience was so much better than the last experience I had with my previous attorney. I couldn't be more happy with the way he handled my case. He eased the concerns and worries I was having by constantly communicating with me on where the case was. I was very surprised that they gave me so much personal attention throughout my case. We selected attorney Brian Breiter to handle our case after a serious accident. -I had a broken neck and two mid back spine fractures. My friend’s vision was affected because eyes vitreous detachment, and Brian appeared to have the analytical skills, communication and judgement to handle our incident of premise liability.
Recently the case was settled and I received a substantial compensation. My friend received a smaller settlement, but was not charged the contracted 40% legal fees.
I thought that it was going to be difficult to type a review because some leftover hands limitations-and the emotions attached, however, the biggest difficulty is finding the best words to describe the exceptional service we received from this firm.
Where do I begin?
Once out of the hospital the idea of getting involved in any litigations was terrifying. I was reluctant to start any legal case. I did not have the energy, and I was afraid, worry and very symptomatic after my neck emergency surgery and dealing with all medical providers
Finally, I realized that I needed to fight for my life and time was of 'the essence', and that it was better to be compensated than confronting the cost of life, and the possibility of more medical interventions or special care later.
At first even though we felt Brian Breiter had the personality and knowledge to handle our case, I was concerned, since in this culture of lawyer and client relationship many attorneys do not return phone calls leaving the clients in limbo. This was not the case here, they were always, always, available. They answered all our calls, and responded to all our questions no matter how busy they were.
Brian is a trial lawyer he can be firm but he also has a compassionate nature, - he is also an actor, and this is an asset that enhances his logical mind.
In time, we got to know also lawyer Mark Rubaskin, and what a great attorney he is. In many instances, he counseled me to stay strong, when I was in pain and doubt and I wanted to quit everything and so overwhelmed that I wanted to settle early but he convinced me to the contrary.
They work very well together and are on top of things. What a great team: Harmony, Expertise and Experience.
Later, in the mid of the process, I read two depositions done by Brian taken and we were impressed with his concise articulation, his knowledge and arguments. He could spot weaknesses in the opposition and make it work to our benefit. It was clear that we were in good hands, and I stopped wanting to read more of the reports. Brian is a brilliant persuasive negotiator as he demonstrated in our two mediations
Thank you, Brian and Mark. My life has changed, but your skills, made possible for me to write this review to help other victims to recover their life to whatever degree is possible.

Words alone cannot express my appreciation for what the Law Offices of Brian Breiter has done for our family. About 29 months ago, on a late Friday night my parents were involved in a DWI accident which turned my world upside down. My parents were coming home after work around 11pm. When they were exiting the 10 freeway they were hit broadside by a drunk driver who failed to yield while merging onto the freeway. The drunk driver and his passenger left my parents there for dead and fled the scene only to be arrested a few hours later. While my father managed to somehow survive, my mother passed shortly after the impact of the accident. My two brothers and I were a complete mess and had no idea what to do or where to start. From grieving the loss of a mother, having a father in ICU for over a month fighting for his life, planning a funeral, dealing with law enforcement, and trying to run the family business, reaching out to personal injury lawyers was turning out to be more frustrating than I had expected it to be. However, lawyers Brain Breiter and Mark Rubashkin from Law Offices of Brian Breiter changed the dynamics of our entire situation. I still remember our first conversation over the phone, Brian spent over an hour just listening to my story, knowing exactly what I was feeling and going through. His genuine nature of caring for others was evident as he felt like a lifelong friend instead of a lawyer I just reached out to. He went on to calm me down and explained to me the importance of prioritizing what and who I worry about. That right now, I needed to take care of my family members (who are also grieving) and most importantly my own health. Everything else we can talk about later because we have plenty of time. Anybody can do a good deed and call themselves a good human but Brian and his partners, did more than just talk. I still remember when Brian told me that all the money in the world doesn’t replace what I had lost the other night, and that my family has already lost so much. He expressed their commitment and support by taking on the case pro-bono unless they recovered over $250K for my family. Despite the fact that the offender was worth nothing, Brian and his team did not give up and spent 18 months building an amazing case. Money-hungry professionals are everywhere nowadays and in the times where for most people, quality of service doesn’t matter, Brian and his team are here to help those in need at their darkest hour. They are not only thorough professionals but I am confident they are also some of the humblest people I have or ever will meet. I am truly grateful to call Brian and his partners my friends. Thank you for helping my family again and again.

It is with great pleasure that I write this personal account of my experience with the Law Offices of Brian Breiter.

Nearly two years ago, I was rear ended while completely stopped on the freeway in what ended up being a 4 car collision. Add in a touch of confusion, lies, a deceitful defendant, an absolutely uncooperative, morally suspect insurance company, and you have a recipe for disaster.

It is popular knowledge that when one is rear ended, the driver in the back is automatically at fault. Common sense dictates that it isn’t any more open and shut than that. But when the defendant’s insurance company (whose name rhymes with MERCURY) employs a year and half filibuster that would make Congress look like a well oiled machine, rectitude and scruples are all thrown out with the bathwater.

My car was wrecked. I was injured. It is unfortunate, but in the world we live in most are unconcerned with fairness, with giving what is due. You will need someone in YOUR corner intellectually armed to the teeth—someone able to adeptly traverse the legal morass that awaits you.

All throughout this long and arduous journey, Brian and Mark have been absolutely stellar. They have approached my case with compassion, fortitude, and dogged perseverance. Yes they actually care. You quickly begin to see that they are sincerely dedicated in their fight against the reprehensible nature at how victims are grossly mistreated by the insurance companies. At every juncture, point, and line item, the insurance company attempted to swindle, bamboozle, and deceive. And at every turn Brian was there to make sure they did not.

Due to the tireless work of Brian and Mark, in the end I received the MAXIMUM settlement for my injury claim. Furthermore, they went above and beyond to make sure I received an excellent settlement for property damage and loss of use.

I give Brian my 100% full endorsement and would send any of my family and friends to him for representation.

My father was picked up by a van that's designated to transport seniors to and from their residence to the Senior Activity Center he goes to daily. When my siblings and I drive my father, we have to assist him with his seatbelt - we pull it out for him and make sure he's locked in before we drive off. The driver of the van on this particular day didn't assist my father with his seatbelt. My dad tried to belt himself in and believed he did. Unfortunately, on this given day, the driver had to slam on the brakes to avoid getting into an accident and my father, who was sitting in the front seat, plunged forward so hard his whole body hit the front dash of the car (his upper body, his arms, his ribs were all bruised up) and his face and head hit the windshield. He had to be admitted to the hospital. He couldn't go home after he was released from the hospital because he needed rehab so he was transferred to a nursing home. My father's condition deteriorated and he died a few months later.

I was referred to Brian by a dear friend who served as a juror in one of Brian's cases. My friend was a lawyer many years back and also worked in the DA's office so whenever I have any legal queries, I turn to him. I trust his opinions and his referrals are gold.

I had a long meeting with Brian and Mark Rubashkin and he took the case. Brian and Mark worked to obtain all the necessary documents and statements for everyone involved and it took years. The case became challenging because my father was elderly and as is with most elderly people, had pre-existing health problems that the defendant argued caused my father's death. Brian and Mark worked persistently. They were great about explaining the process of the case- my siblings and I have never gone through this situation and we have never sued anyone before. They both returned phone calls promptly, were patient about answering questions and they scheduled all the necessary meetings needed to get the case moving.

Despite the odds against us, Brian and Mark won the case in our behalf.

My siblings and I are grateful for everything Brian, Mark and their whole team have done for us. Despite what seems to be insurmountable odds, they actually achieved a successful and positive outcome. I mentioned that my friend's referrals are gold and I can now personally say with certainty, that my friend was spot-on.
