Deidra Kelley very unpleasant and unprofessional. I didn't get a chance to be a client, and chose not to because of her disposition over the phone. She did not offer complete options. I stated options I know I had, then she acknowledged them. I hung up without confidence in the firm. It's a no for me!!

Very professional and savvy, The Manely Firm has looked out for me and my family during this process. I am thankful to Attorney Dina Khismatulina and the team especially for being firmly present and available, and dedicated to working hard on my case. Best decision. Thank you.

The Manely Firm is an excellent family law firm with very dedicated, hard working staff. Mr. Manely is a very well experienced international lawyer, who's currently supervising my complicated custody case. Ms. Khismatulina is the attorney assigned to my case. She's sharp, honest and very understanding of one's situation. Other excellent, hard working members of the team are Ms. Mayo (paralegal), Ms. Kaylor and Ms. Ravelo. I couldn't have possibly asked for a better Firm.

The associate and paralegal assigned to my case were professional and persistent in gathering all of the information necessary and drafting motions/answers promptly. Though my case was quite complicated, I was appreciative of the fact that they were clear on all the details of my situation. My interactions with the head attorney assigned to my case, Michael, were personal, positive, and encouraging leading up to the trial. I was confident in his expertise in international family law, in particular The Hague Convention, which helped to settle my nerves throughout the process. Especially when so much was at stake for my children, it was very important for me to trust him completely. The legal services were on the pricey side, but this was primarily due to how the case progressed and the several filings in the run up to the trial. We won the case, and I would have been prepared to pay anything to protect my children and guarantee their health and safety. I would not have chosen any differently, and I would choose the Manely Firm again for any of my future legal needs. I can’t thank them enough for their time and energy invested in my family.

I had a great experience with Manely’s firm. I work with Dina Khismatulina, who was recommended to me by a friend. Khismatulina is the 3rd lawyer I worked with in the last 5 years, so unfortunately I have a lot to compare. From the experience, I have learned that when the divorce lawyers say $200+ an hour they mean it. I knew it will be an expensive and painful process. Khismatulina told me right upfront the estimated amount. It was high, but I respected the honesty and knowing upfront. Other lawyers I worked with in the past were not direct upfront. They told me $x THAT IS ALL you need for the retainer, but at the end, presented me with the huge bill and put the lien on my house. After the process ended, I understood that is how they get the clients. Small retainer sounds quite appealing in the beginning and you just hire them. Khismatulina told me the “scary number” upfront, which was very honest. I still hired her, because I knew the reality.
Another contrast. Khismatulina did not promise me the world, but gave me very realistic expectations. Others in the past told me what I wanted to hear and then a year into the prospect turned around and told me no, it is not possible.
Finally, Khismatulina helped me to build a strategy, which is hard to do. I will quote her “You will not win by going to court but you will win by doing all the prep and strategy work”. It worked! I got what I wanted without filing with the court. Yes, the process was still expensive, but cheaper if I would have to go to court. Again, I have learned all these on my own, through my own experience, unfortunately. My last two lawyers just rushed to filing things. Their strategy was simple: they lock you by filing and they keep charging for moving papers. Think about it. How can a lawyer charge for thinking about strategy? They can’t. But for filing and for communicating with court or the opposing lawyer! Oh they can!
Overall I am happy with the firm. I feel very confident communicating with my ex because I know what not to do and how not to weaken my position. I have more items to address, which I will be well prepared to do, thanks to Khismatulina’s guidance. Am I happy with the bill, absolutely not! It will be awesome if they can work for me for free.

Decent lawyer with a decent outcome. Had an issue with billing that took a little encouraging to get cleared up. But overall... decent.
