People have to understand that the courts decisions are not up to the lawyers. Well with my experience dealing with Higbee and associates is that they have done more for me than 3 other law firms and $15,000 in legal feels and for a third of that cost. Where my 3 other attorneys had failed Higbee and Associates delivered. They even corrected a clerical errors made by the court. They stay on top of every letter that they send to th courts they track and call for confirmation. In my eyes they did an outstanding job. They stay on top of updating they're portal to keep you informed of hows your case is going. I never tried calling so I can say how that works court cases take time so just be patient.i wish I would of found them sooner.

They should focus on their main business. Scamming and threatening by copyright will not make you rich

Straight up scam...addresses in UK...multiple companies licensing photos online deceptively. Trick people into thinking they are free, then sending them letters saying they owe tons of money or face litigation.

Plain and simple these guys run a photo scam to which even when you use the Google free usage license, they got a bunch of photos specifically posted for their scam.

They wind up contacting those who were tricked, who used pics that they were allowed to use, and threatens them for cash buyouts.

The scam is that the pics that lead back to one of their many sites (like a rabbithole). The sites basically have a lot of legalese that state that they need credit and it's not free...etc. etc.
At the end of the day, total scam. Be very careful of these guys if they cross your path.

Don't go to these guys. They tell you anything to get you to start paying money then change the conditions of your agreed upon contract with them. The person you speak to on your initial call isn't who ends up handling your case or payment. They say that you can start your case with $50 and make payments but 48 hours after your initial payment they require $150 payment or they threaten to stop work on your case and they don't clear everything for the $950. To clean everything they ask for additional money. Go to someone else who's transparent from the beginning.

Exploitive, aggressive lawyers who threaten small businesses and demand the money.

After hours of wasted time, they are still taking money from me that is not rightfully theirs.

They willingly said they are wasting their clients time and billing them at $350 per hour and will bill their client on an awaiting infringement payment settlement, threatening a lawsuit if a $500 fine isn't paid within 10 days.

I asked for 4 weeks, and they wasted hours of my time arguing with me about how quickly that could be paid. I showed them my bank account with proof that I could not pay within the timeline they wanted, so they asked for more money.

This is not my real name however I have dealt with this law firm. Just want to give a fair warning to others to find a better law firm if you need legal help.

I used the same company for my K-1 visa, and then for my green Card. The attorneys are great and very helpful. My first Attorney (Julia Thome) did a great job helping me and my spouse through the K-1 visa. Also when my previous attorney (Julia Thome) changed, the new attorney (Ali Hassanzadeh) took on the process for my application very smoothly, and followed up properly. He gave a massive effort answering my question and following up with the process. I did not have any issues with him following up taking on the process by himself. He also did a very great job preparing me for the interview for the interview! The case managers are awesome! Maria, Enoc, and Michelle were all great and they all helped so much! The transaction from a case manager to another was never a problem. We were always notified upon every event or a step made through the process! The company's prices are affordable and manageable with great payment options. I have no complaints! I'm only happy and grateful for the service they provided us with. Thank you so much guys! I am so glad we hired this company and their amazing attorneys and employees. Having them representing me and my spouse was the correct thing to do!!

This law firm is engaged in activities that attempt to extort funds from businesses for picture copyright infringement, even when proper photo attribution and authorship have been granted.

The attorney or paralegal that I spoke with was dismissive and condescending, which is uncharacteristic for a professional, licensed attorney.

The bully tactics work well against unsuspecting business owners, but real businesses with a legal team will shut down a false claim almost instantly.

I understand the reason that Higbee & Associates engages in this type unethical extortion, especially knowing that it isn't illegal and there isn't enough for them to be punished or their principals to be disbarred.

It doesn't make it any better, but please google "Law Offices of Higbee & Associates Scam" or "Law Offices of Higbee & Associates Copyright Extortion" to see the type of business practice that this firm believes in.

Excellent Service. The great people at Higbee & Associates got my matters fixed in 6 weeks! Would highly recommend to anybody looking to get their record expunged.

I wish I would have avoided this firm. They have failed to represent me as a client and later refused to issue me a full refund. The case I needed expunged was a misdemeanor. I was denied based on the fact that Higbee and Associates failed to gather the necessary documentation for the courts. I requested a copy of my case file and it took numerious requests before they sent two documents. I am still waiting to this day for the order from the judge and its been over a month.
I have since filed complaints with the State Bar of California regarding two of there attorneys, the BBB of California and opened a small claims court case against this firm. Do yourself a favor and hire someone locally. This firm took my money and failed in every way to provide the service promised.
I will be posting the outcome of the State Bar investigation along with the information regarding the small claims case as it arrives.
