The paralegal, Janel, is an absolute godsend. She's always helpful, courteous, and prompt in returning calls/emails. From what I can tell, Janel keeps the place running (Stephen and Rosalind are out of the picture after a few initial meetings). I have no doubt that the lawyers know their stuff when it comes to estate planning, trusts, Medicaid, etc. However, I was disappointed that Stephen drug his heels for several months in preparing for the funding meeting with no explanation of what took so long. He would also do well to improve his "bedside manner." Otherwise, you'll get an estate plan than seems to be solid, and, as mentioned, Janel does a superb job of guiding you through the maddening process of setting up a trust.

My wife and I hired Steve Jones and Rosalind Robertson to help us with our financial affairs. We own some rental property and other assets. We do not have any children. We were unsure how to handle everything and did not want to leave a mess for any of our survivors in the event of our death.
Mr. Jones and Ms. Robertson explained everything to us in terms that we could understand, answered all of our questions and completed several documents for us in a timely manner. Their office staff is also very helpful.
They are very knowledgeable in what they do and are always available if we have any questions. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with wills, trusts, powers of attorney and anything to do with elder law.

I worked with Ros & Steve when they did elder law planning for my parents. They set up a great plan that has already proven valuable. When my mother passed, they met with my dad again to explain how what they had put into place was now functioning. I have also worked with them on several mutual clients. Their professionalism and knowledge is unmatched. Yes, I have heard of other lawyers with quicker methods that promise better results, but corners are cut and laws are bent. I don't need that for my parents or clients. I refer all elder law clients to Jones Elder Law.
I was refereed by another Attorney. The initial visit was great my Grandmother and I liked them and she decided to pay the one time fee of $7,000 for them to handle everything for life. The paperwork they completed for medicaid would have led to a 7 month penalty period for her long term care. After consulting another attorney, my fiance filled out the paperwork with a more generous filter and the penalty period was 1 month. They are very pricey to fill out paperwork with no lawyering whatsoever.
