Well worth the the money. Erin reduced my speeding ticket of 20+ over speed limit (non-reckless) to failure to obey a traffic sign. So I went from a loss of 6 points, a big fine and it stays on my driving record for 6 years to just a loss of 3 points, smaller fine and only stays on my record for 3 years. The long story:
I received a reckless driving/criminal citation while in Fairfax County... a slew of flyers and mailers were sent to me within weeks. I have had one previous reckless driving citation in another county, reduced to speeding and done it without any counsel so I thought I could do the same in this case. While going through the flyers, I thought it couldn't hurt to contact some of them.
Erin was by far the most responsive and straightforward in her response, also advising me to bring my clean driving record in my home state... (admittedly, I have had numerous speeding tickets in other states). I asked if I really needed to retain counsel and apparently Fairfax County is notorious for not even speaking to the defendant if they do not have legal representation. She also added that if I decide to retain counsel, I don't even have to appear in court as it actually would not make a difference (I actually got to enjoy my day off work instead of spending half my day worried in a courtroom, waiting to be called). My citation got bumped down to speeding (no criminal offense, whoop!), I didn't have to go to court, and all my interactions were done through email (I travel and not available in person and by phone a lot). Just amazed how smoothly this all went. Bottom line, just send all your friends and family to Erin for their traffic legal needs.

Horrible experience. I hired Mrs. Smith so that I wouldn't have to miss a day a work. We talked negotiated a fee and I thought that I was in good hands.

My court date came and passed with no word from Mrs. Smith, so I called her only to have her lie to me and tell me that she failed to see one of my charges and that my presence was needed therefore it had to be passed to a later date.

I then requested a refund somewhat rudely refused a discussion was had and I chose to keep her moving forward.

On the date of my new trial date she no where to be found. I was one of the first there at trial that day and I was literally the last person heard on the docket.

I am really glad that I contacted Erin Smith. Initially, I received a pretty severe traffic ticket, but not as bad as it could have been. The Fairfax County police officer was a little lenient with me. This was surprising, since I know Virginia Police officers generally don't show much mercy. So, because the police officer showed a little decency I was prepared to just pay the ticket and be done with it.
