I wish I could state WHY but since in this state a lawyer can sue you over loss of business, I will simply state that I, (me personally) would not do business with them again. Wish I could say more!!!!!

I do not recommend this law firm. I went through a third custody battle with my sons father. I retained this law firm to represent me during this custody battle. Glen E. Bradford was my attorney. He was at my first few hearings. Then out of no where his daughter Shannon Bradford started showing up to represent me. It was never explained to me that she was taking over my case, but I rolled with the flow. I had multiple request from these attorneys that were NEVER met. At one point I felt as if I were a bother to them. It started taking longer to return my calls and emails. I felt as if they weren't really representing me. It was as if my opinion or what my requests were really didn't matter. We were sent to mediation, which I paid for. We had a GAL for my son, which I paid for. I also paid the retainer fee for the attorney's and was making them payments when I could. My biggest request was that when we finally went to the attorney fees hearing that I would be able to speak to the judge on my behalf to explain not only the emotional stress, but the financial stress of the matter on my behalf for a THIRD custody battle, and how it was overwhelming, and that I felt that after the third time, and the fact that the GAL's report was in my favor from the beginning of this almost 3 year ordeal, that my sons father should be responsible for all fees I had incurred. With that being said I did not only not get to speak with the judge as I had requested numerous times, but my sons father was only ordered to pay half of the existing balance. I would not receive any of the other fees that I had paid out all the way up until that point. If that isn't bad enough they also went behind my back with out even consoling me and took $1500.00 of overpaid child support (DHS had been double dipping his income, and we didn't notice it) from his portion on to my portion of attorney's fees. This took place March 5th, 2015. Since then I have been on the phone with Child Support trying to rectify the situation since they are still showing an over-payment from my sons father. Child Support has informed me that there is absolutely nothing they can do, and that it should have NEVER been handled that way. They are not involved in private matters, and have nothing to do with any court orders that do not pertain to child support. The over payment is deducted from when he misses a payment. So I am being screwed on both ends all thanks to the people I hired to represent me. The Bradford Law Offices. I then have tried to contact them multiple times. Shannon Bradford just got back with me. Due to non payment they dropped me as a client. I told them that I could pay $150.00 a month which I had been, but that was not good enough, they wanted $300.00 a month, and because they no longer represent me, she said that there was nothing they would do. I have to figure it out myself in regards to the child support. I would not recommend these attorneys to anyone, not even my worst enemies. Save yourself and utilize someone else.
