I have to admit that I too have had a DWI offense in the past and feel if I had an attorney, my charges and overall experience would have been better. I know I am guilty of what I did but I was not treated well by the judge who sentenced me. In fact, 6 months later he was charged with the same offense and much worse, it turns out he was dealing drugs as well as turning a blind eye to prostitution and profiting from it. We all as humans make mistakes but we are supposed to be programmed to learn from them. Some of us do and some don't but if we make a bad decision which leads up to a DWI, good counsel is always warranted.
