The Sacramento office is in the practice of using bait and switch tactics. Beware. My initial consultation seemed promising. I later found out that they bring in lawyers from the bay area for these initial consultations and push novice lawyers with less than a year in practice. When I fired my lawyer a week had passed and my account was not closed out. I contacted the office to find that they had merely not chosen to do so as it takes two weeks after closing for any refunds to be processed. Now I will see how long it takes since written notice of termination was not sufficient grounds in their eyes to do so. There are no pending legal matters that would prevent this either. Make sure your initial paid consultation is with a lawyer from the office you wish to retain services from. The only good service from the Sacramento office came from the front desk employee. She was great.

I have been working with Cordell and Cordell for about a year now. I have always been pleased with the professionalism, and level of service I have received. My attorney keeps me informed about my case, and always gets back to me in a timely manner.

I would recommend Cordell and Cordell.

"A partner a man can count on"... This line made me hopeful I found a firm that truly had the best interest of the man during a divorce regarding child custody . The truth is they were nothing more than professional billing artists only interested in finding ways to take your money during an emotionally trying time. In the end I paid this firm over $10,000 for a non contested divorce. I sent an email with a question, they charge me $100 to respond. I ask for a phone conversation, they put me on the calendar 3 weeks always and charge me $150. I tell them I don't agree with their billing and they tell me everything is done with my case and all I needed was to go in front of a judge to answer 10 questions and it is done. Lies. After all the money I spent I had to finish the divorce myself (2 months after they lied to drop me as a client). Do not trust this firm. In the end you are nothing more than a payday to them. Don't deceive yourself to think they care about you, your kid, or your case.

Itd be great if they actually read the email correspondence sent in in regards to financial situations and not try to get you to come into the office and pay for the consultation. I know you are for divorce which is harder than non divorce with custody.

After a very short 30min paid consultation, the lawyer who wasn’t actually going to be my lawyer gave an option that I hadn’t thought of. From that concept, I did some research and found an instant cost free solution - that very day I was able to solve my issue with child care and it may not have happened if I didn’t have the clarity from the consultation with them. Way to go Cordell!

It should be noted, I had a lawyer previously for months representing me and that lawyer never once offered the solutions Cordell did. Thank you!

I cannot express how much I appreciated Cordell & Cordell, and in particular, Robert Aguilar. Their assistance in this emotional time was invaluable.
