Joyce is a fantastic attorney and really knows her trust law. She was a valuable asset to me when I was doing the distribution of of a family members final trust. I even have my own will, durable power of attorney, and advanced health care directive thanks to Joyce's expertise, knowledge, and most importantly generosity and kindness.

My own experience is that she drew up the paperwork that look very professional but means nothing ...my mother-in-law went to joyce milks when her husband died in 2008... But when my wife was contacted from Memorial Hospital in 2013 due to her mom admitted for dehydration... And after my wife & daughter were in attendance with her even my wife moving into the home... Doing exactly what her mom had directed...then a relative from Iowa came to town to cancel her role executor etc. In 2017, joyce milks instead of following any of the legal documents , brought council on aging into the picture...trying to force Marjorie to resign too as trustee etc. At this time she had most of her Bill's paid thru auto pay thru wells Fargo bank and she had employees fiduciary and vice president at wells Fargo advisors to handle investments they her trust account...Marjorie and jack had been banking for 20+ years...
I am not happy with joyce milks because council on aging with joyce milks went to my house several times to try to convince her to go to the bank and hand her banking to coach which they promised to keep her notified of her bank balances and what was spent...the flyer had no rates for the charges...and when my wife asked coach to write down her rates she wrote what look ed like $25...actually it was $75/hour...
Council on aging went to adult protection who came to our house making some kind of claims that my mother-in-law was supposed to see a doctor. She took NO medicine and she didn't see a doctor regularly so she went to house calls who came to the house...they did a battery of tests and ekgs and she came back with clean bill of health...the aps kept bothering her...even came one day with RN who called 911 and never even talked to her yet. Still the coa went to the bank without her and closed one of her checking accounts (stopping bouncing all her auto pays...) No she made the papers with her that was the reason all this happened... Now she doesn't go fix it...even meet with her...and won't let her make any decisions even though she dwas not saying my mother-in-law could decide about coa and now she has no say over anything and has maintained these bank accounts since 25+ years..
I had to pay for my mother-in-law out of my own pocket for legal services ..because when given the opportunity to correct this problem Joyce Milks refused...
