Cristin Lowe was a great attorney for me, she helped me with my DVRO case that my soon to be ex was trying to file to gain custody of our kids. I came to her in such a mess and she assured me she could take my case and helped but I was still scared. The day of court she coached me before we walked in the court room and before I took the stand. I walked in with my attorney by my side feeling really good. Cristin was very direct and very prepared for the case. She asked the Plaintiff questions that I haven't thought of. After taking my 400.00 as well as talking to an intake secretary who convinced me Lowe could help me, she told me she wouldn’t be able to because I wasn’t prepared for a lawyer yet. I had all my paperwork to show her that I was told to bring. I have never heard of a lawyer turning someone away. I was so impressed with all the videos she has prepared for the public, but upon meeting her I met a completely different person. So sad and disappointing.

I highly recommend Cristin as your family law attorney. Dealing with a nasty divorce and on-going child custody issues, I had retained 4 different family law attorneys prior to finding Cristin and thank goodness that I did find her! She is very personable and approachable, she uses technology (many of my previous attorney were stuck in the dark ages and didn't want or couldn't take advantage of email, phone or texting services). Making an appointment with Cristin was also very easy. In my overall child custody battle, Cristin listened to my concerns and worries, had great suggestions and always followed through. I like her style of writing and she did an excellent job representing me at my hearings/trail.
At one point there was a mishap with her office staff but once I pointed it out to Cristin she quickly fixed the situation and even provided me with a free hour of consultation in return. Great attorney, nice staff.

Cristin - She loves her job, something I could tell the first time we met or when things got tough and complicated in court. I had a difficult child and divorce case, of which Cristin handled with empathy, acumen, and awesome command of her legal team. In court, she is calm, collected, precise, yet aware of her surroundings. In my case, it might have been that the opposing legal team that was downright horrible at their job, because Cristin stood in stark contrast, showing respect for both parties, the judge, the case, while maintaining her pace. Initially I had thought that she would be expensive (since they're based in San Ramon), but her rate averages with the Bay Area's. Total cost-wise, your mileage may vary of course, but for me, it was worth it, even though I'm stress out monthly about how much I still owe for the entire case.

Law of Office of Cristin M. Lowe - Nestled in a Bishop Ranch building, the law office is small, yet adequate. It's open and neither feels unwelcoming or warm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If there was a downside, it's the feedback/communication loop between legal team, staff, and client. Mind you, during my case it was great, but it's the post-case service that suffers. Sometimes I'd call to ask a question and would be told that they'd call me back with answers; in my experience, it's been 65% response rate from the office. The finance/billing department is also another weak spot of the business, which is really why I deducted a star from this review. I'm on monthly auto-pay, but have run into times where I was double-charged, sent "pay now" or "overdue" messages even though I'm supposedly on auto-debit, and have had no alert communication from finance about interest being tacked-on to my outstanding account. Legal services naturally cost an arm and a leg, and the finance department should be on the ball in helping clients feel that they're still in control of their money.

Not only is Cristin an awesome attorney and runs a tight firm. She is truly a good person. From the first visit we were on a first name basis. She took my case very serious and guided me all the way. My personal well being was always protected. She is extremely versed in family law. A budget cost was set for the case and it stayed within 1%. Thank you Cristin!.
