My lawyer before Walter would always put his phone to voicemail, and would have meetings but left with feeling that he did not know my case.
With Walter, if you write an email, he will respond with a dictated letter giving you all of the details of the case as well as the next steps
I was recommended Walter by another divorce attorneys assistant for one reason. The assistant said that the attorneys in her office hated Walter because he always won. Walter always prepares hard for every case .He knows the law well and if it wasn't for Walter, my case would have been horrible. He changed.my case In less than two weeks. I credit him for saving my children from.a.horrible situation.
If you want a great lawyer who knows your case and will give you honest answers to your questions and wins, then you want Walter as your lawyer .
Wow, I needed serious help and I couldn't even get an appointment. The secretary of his firm is the most rudest and unprofessional person I have ever know, period.
I tried making an appointment for 3.5 weeks and she refused to work with me.
I initially called and was told that Mr Hammon was busy in court and his appointment secretary would call back, post haste, and schedule me by the end of the week.
Well, a week passed and no call. So, I call and then was informed that he'd be going on vacation and an appointment would be scheduled upon his return...
So, 2 weeks go by and no call.
Now, I have lots of patience and time on my hands because I believed Hammon was worth the wait and I needed expert help but after trying a 3rd time to contact them, the secretary acted like I never called before and started to give me the run around and that's when she got REALLY NASTY.
She wouldn't accept the fact that I had been trying to make an appointment for 3.5 weeks and never received any returned calls and that it was unsettling and I wanted to know just WTH was going on... I needed help.
She then arbitrarily decided to use anger and try speaking over me and interrupted me without letting me get a word in edgewise. Then she said, "If you're having problems with me, then maybe it's best you took your business elsewhere" and hung up on me. Really? That wasn't called for, grow up!
Wow, I really needed his help and this is what I got.
Anyhow, avoid this office like the plague if you're wise. At $500 per hour, I expected much, much better and am glad I never had the opportunity to follow thru and be subjected to more headaches and stress from their total lack of concern and professionalism.
