Right now if I could give negative stars I would. I hope no can share in the experience I had and if you did I am deeply sorry. I initially reached out to schedule and consultation with Ms. Hogan in regards to support issue. My divorce was finalized in 2015, I have been my own attorney for 3 years, was able to get minors counsel ordered for my kids, support adjusted accordingly for a change in the time split as well. There is one support issue that came up that I felt it was best to get legal counsel for which brought me to Ms. Hogan. I was told that it was a $250 fee for a consultation so I scheduled it for nearly 2 weeks out on a Thursday. Wednesday afternoon I received a call that if I did not pay the $250 by the end of that day, it would be considered as though I changed my mind about needed the consultation. Before I was even able to call back I received another call rescheduling my appointment to Friday at 3:30. I agreed and offered to also go ahead and cover the $250 at that time. Later that afternoon I got yet another reschedule to push it to 4 Friday. Friday came and early that morning I had emailed to let them know I needed to push it to the following Friday as my oldest daughter suffered a concussion the previous Sunday and I had to take her in for a follow up.
Late morning I received a voicemail that yet again it was being rescheduled and asked about moving it to Monday so I know at this point no one has even looked at my email since I already asked for the following Friday. I did not get back to the office that day but woke up Saturday to an overdrawn account and a $250 charge for a consultation that never tool place and had been rescheduled by their office 3 times and no set appointment set. That charge cost 2 items to be paid and an additional $68 in Overdraft fees which may seem like nothing but for a single mom with 2 teen daughters it is a lot. I emailed her office Sunday, no response. I called this morning and left a voicemail, no response. I am disgusted by the way I have been treated by this firm. They tell me if I don't pay the $250 my appointment is cancelled then I pay it thinking that secures my consultation but nope, they reschedule and reschedule mean while I am out $250 plus the $68 charged by my bank. Now I am trying to recover my funds for services I never received and no one will get back to me. I HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere for legal services!

Moira Hogan has represented me for the past two years. She has won over ten hearing and trials in two different counties on my behalf. She displays poise, determination, and expertise in the courtroom. She is by far the best lawyer I have ever seen. Above all else I can trust her and rest easy knowing she will come out on top. I highly recommend Moira Hogan to anyone and everyone.

My biggest regret is that I did not read the reviews regarding Ms. Hogan before I hired her. It would have saved me a year of stress and tens of thousands of dollars. I trusted Moira Hogan with my case she failed me miserably, and now I no other option but to file a complaint to the Bar Association.

In the beginning, she seemed to be on top of the details and was available to meet in person and on the phone to review the details of my case. However, once we got to court, she was very unprepared and basically the Judge had to coach her on what to do! I paid her for an entire day in court, yet got nothing out of it. The judge stated that she failed to come prepared with some of the most critical information in the case.

After the court date, the judge required follow-up from Ms. Hogan. She prepared the documents, but never reviewed them with me to check for accuracy before she filed them with the court. She also never sent me copies of this paperwork, even after I requested it multiple times. Her office staff told me that they mailed it 4 times...and they charged me 4 times. In addition, once I started to question her billing, Ms. Hogan started to refuse to return my phone calls. Her work ethics went by the way side and she started to treat me like I was an enemy. Her billing is always sent 2 months behind schedule, and then she was charging me late fees! I asked multiple times for an explanation of the bills and how much was being applied towards the retainer. The only response I received was that the bill included money to keep the account green. Again, I asked, "how much?" and still never received an answer.
After multiple phone calls, and letters to Ms. Hogan - I still NEVER received a return response from her. Instead, her receptionist started to just hang up on my phone calls.

During the year that Ms. Hogan handled my case, she had a revolving door of administrative staff. On average she had one new person each month. They basically just took messages and relayed information back to me. Again, after I started to question Ms. Hogan's bill, she refused to ever call me, so I was forced to speak with her admin and be charged for this!

Ms. Hogan and this law firm does everything via fax and letters. No email (what century are we in?). I believe this is a strategy to back-date letters to cover tracks for her incompetence when she forgets details of dates, etc.

Please stay away from this lawyer. She is unethical and will bleed you dry.

I can't say enough good things about Moira Hogan. She is a FORCE in the courtroom. My Ex has been a problem for years and I always felt that I was getting bulldozed by her attorney. I decided I didn't want a weak attorney anymore, and I hired Moira. She works harder than the other guys, and she makes you work your tail off too, so you can WIN! My ex moved away and tried to take the kids...Not only did Moira stop that, I got sole custody and now my Ex has to pay child support to me! Ha ha! If you want to win and can afford to pay an attorney to work hard for you,she is it! Fees were extremely reasonable for what she did. Hands down, the best attorney in town!

Moira completely turn around my so ugly children custody and property division nightmare. I highly recommend her to anyone who has complicated divorce problem. She is best. Both Moira and team were just amazing. My last attorney really messed all up and Moira fixed all. She always responsive, act quickly and more than anything, she cared about me and my children. Her fees were incredible reasonable for huge work that I know she and her staff did. I am so unbelievable grateful for her win my case.

Totally the worst of the worst!

Do not go with Hogan she is the worst!

My case: Married under 1 year, no community property, no kids.

Cost: $12,600 and rising. Resolved after three years? No!

Avoid at all cost! Hogan is just out there to get all your money, instead of doing her job.
