I had a wonderful experience with Attorney Gopal / Allied Legal PC during a nightmare of child custody battle for my two kids with the Immigration issues. I was on a dependent visa with no savings despite a long term marriage.

I tried almost all the Indian lawyers in the bay area but nobody was even ready to listen to me. In fact one attorney in San Jose was so rude that he literally asked me to leave.

Gopal was very patient and professional, listened to what I had to say, and was very realistic with what he though we would accomplish in the case.

I hope this review will be extremely helpful for my Indian brothers/sisters or anyone to save their very rare overseas opportunities, H1b applications, money and most important career/family-oriented life cycle time line. We all know that we have to make sure that our attorney must be PRO while dealing with USCIS. I WOULDN’T REFER THIS ATTORNEY TO ANYONE EVEN FOR FREE!!! The highest ever unprofessional attorney/firm we have faced in this profession. Please beware from his marketing show/stunts and don’t be the catch!!! We found that the firm and attorney was totally money-minded, never cared for their client, client’s timeline and case work, zero professionalism and extremely lack of knowledge of H1B(Specialty Occupation Visa).

In detail, Me and my employer were the actual client of Attorney Gopal Krishan (Allied Legal - Law Office of Gopal Krishan an Indian Attorney) for the H1b visa application. Very firstly, He did mistake in filing very important LCA (Labor condition Appl.) so it was rejected and had to file another at last moment. Later, we got RFE from USCIS for the application. We all know that dealing with USCIS is extremely time sensitive, It was such a pathetic that we had almost 3 months of time from USCIS and he did linger the reply until last 4 days of USCIS deadline even we provided everything from our side before 40 days of deadline. Finally, he asked additional FEE at the last moment for RFE while the summary page of his client -attorney contract (on last page) says there shouldn’t be extra fee for RFE. Most of the times, we had extremely hard time to get his reply on our emails for many weeks, we had to call his office many times after waiting for his reply on our email to get an update on the case work or timeline to respond USCIS and the office was keep replying that “he is working on it”. This office and attorney don’t care for client even after getting full payment of case.

Dealing with USCIS is not the kindergarten homework. The work prepared by him or his paralegal was scored 0 professionalism in our case; we had to do the proof reading, spelling and grammar correction of the work done by them. For example, there were two error in spelling of “United States Department of Homeland Security” on the first page/covering letter of their work!!!! He hasn’t written any legal language and sections to support our reply and just add only 1st page (covering letter only) for all the money he got for RFE, he simply wrote 2-3 lines on the page that this law firm represents this employer and please find the reply and mentioned documents enclosed etc..

I wish I could give the firm 0 star. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE FIRM AND SAVE YOUR RESOURCES AND LIFE.

Re-posting : I had a very complicated family law case with multiple INDIAN cases and California divorce case with my immigration status on stake. Attorney Gopal Krishan handled everything and took care of INDIAN cases and represented me in my divorce case here in.Fremont. Finally now I have my 10 years green card with no liability from the divorce case. He is worth every penny of your money.

Absolute NO when it comes to immigration advise! His wrong infomation first sent us to the wrong US Consulate in the wrong city. Oooops! Strike one.
For an E2 Visa, he stated business shareholder percentage should be 49pct.
According to US website its 51pct. So strike two-
Naturally I was declined due to ill advise. By this firm. Do yourselves and elsewhere for correct advice. EVEN FREE ADVISE FROM HIM IS BAD ADVISE- STEER CLEAR

Do not hire him not for free advise. If you are trying to immigrate to another country find a better lawyer because he doesn’t tell you the proper information. He wastes people’s time and doesn’t even know that much about immigration. You can get a way better lawyer that actually knows all the information and is more helpful for a better price. His employees have no idea want they are doing and know very little about anything. They will take a very long time to do your paperwork and will probably do it long. And you will get refused your visa
Happened to me

I hired him as my last hope for my kid while I was pregnant, I had another attorney in my case but I was loosing the battle. He took my case on limited scope just for the child support and custody matters and It took me 9.5 months of constant fight with everybody to get the kid back from her father.

Attorney Gopal Krishan was very upfront on my case, transparent on fee and very easy to reach though out the whole process. I wish I had hired him before.
