I get excused with a doctor's note for the same reason every time and yet I still get called for jury duty every 1.5 years. Do they not have a record of who is unable to go because of their medical record? It'll save so much time for both sides.
They say it's a privilege for US citizens but is it really? Waiting hours? It should be my right as a citizen to choose whether I want to be a juror. Please update the process.

Its a punishment, not a privilege. I should be the one decide if I want to participate or not. The biggest joke on Earth and waist of time in my opinion.
Was there today for the first time for almost 6 hrs. and my god it was awful! They should really take a closer look at who goes to be selected as a juror. About 8 people from my courtroom were excused for medical conditions and a few others because they didn't understand enough English to be of service there (after being there for 2 hrs!). They also say that we'll be allowed breaks and time to eat but in my case neither happened. I'd rather pay the fine than go through that again.

Every two years or less. Clark County Jury Services SUMMONS me to jury duty. Which I don't want to go. And they know the last time I was there. They know I'm taking ALPRAZOLAM. For being a citizen I should have the rights to choose to go or not to go. How do I stop them from sending the summons anymore. This is not right. I should choose if I want to go. But I should have the right to choose.
