John Shimer's Law Office earned every one of the five stars in the rating that I gave them. They have been quick, personable, caring, and above all competent and ethical about their jobs. First it was in defeating a bogus ticket in which the officer was actually willing to show up and testify against me, but the ticket was shortly defeated after I said that we should subpoena the officers body can. A few months after that I was hit while walking my bicycle across a crosswalk and I called John up to see if he would take that kind of case and he's already arranged for me to seek help from a chiropractor while we're waiting for the case to go through.

I received a citation for speeding and a few days later after googling and researching online I found these guys. I found the positive reviews on yelp and decided to take a chance and I'm extremely happy that i did. i went to their office and talked to Terry, she was so warm and nice (changed my perception about Attorneys). She was very professional and knew what she was talking about. My speeding ticket was reduced to illegal parking and no points were deducted and no traffic school. I didn't need to go to the court or anything and my fine was reduced from $398 to 98. I highly recommend this service. If you have the time to go to court, attend traffic school, you might get the same results or might not. Either way, $50 is a small price to pay for my saved time,money, driving points and increased likelihood of a better result.

I did lots of research to hire an 'actual' attorney for my traffic ticket. Due to the nature of my job, I could not afford to have "any" ticket on my driving record. Most of the lawfirms I googled, were "bulk ticket" firms who simply bring your ticket down to "illegal parking" but it's stays on your record & you still pay the fine.
I physically went to most of these firms but didn't find an attorney attorney (if you know what I mean) until I met Terry at Shimer Zach. She patiently listened to my situation & gave me all the possible options & promised me that she would 'try her best' to get it dismissed. I was skeptical at first but trusted her professionalism. Guess what? She did an actual attorney's job & got it dismissed!

My friend was pulled over for a DUI with a controlled substance on Las Vegas Blvd. We consulted with several attorneys including Terry & john. The minute we spoke with Terry on the phone it put us a little more at ease all things considered. We met with Terry and John the next day. They were non-judgemental, informative and obviously experienced with the Las Vegas court systems. To top it all off, they were actually the least expensive of all the attorneys we met with and allowed my friend to set up a payment plan. Getting a DUI is a very stressful ordeal but if you find yourself going through it these are the people to work with. Their office always picks up the phone and Terry and/or John always return calls in a timely manor. They are comforting and don't make you feel judged for your mistake.
We moved back to the East coast shortly after the incident. My friend never had to show up to court one time. They handled it all from across the country. I'm happy to report that we just recieved news that Terry and John were able to get my friends DUI reduced to a reckless driving charge and a fine with an online DUI class and a 2 hour victim impact panel.
