Beck is absolutely the worst attorney in the history of law. He abused my friend by taking more than $25,000 from him to represent him. He never showed up at hearings, never returned phone calls and it has been five years.
Find a different attorney because if you don't get mugged going into his office because it is in a rundown part of town, you will get mugged by him and his incompetency in court and his overbilling.

Meet with me on a walk in, which could be convenient. But his advice was inaccurate. I supplied him with the same paper work I did to two other law firms about my foreclosure case. Was already wanting to rid myself of the home so asked if in my case I could sell. He urged me to hold a retainer immediately because this wouldn't be an option for me. His words being something like "its too late. Act fast, it would be a big loss also buyer would be informed of foreclosure and price would drop, property losses value." This agitating my fears more so of losing my home, as a first time home owner was very frightened. Come to find out that this is false. Date on paper work seen by a profesional/someone familiar with real estate would know other wise. Actually I have 4 months time for this to even happen, nobody would be aware and wouldn't affect home value. The least anyone expects from an attorney is honesty and to be well informed about my legal options. Disappointed.
