I had put Phil Brown on retainer on behalf of my beloved wife who was finding herself piling up 1 criminal charge after the other fist over fist in a small amount of time none the less. Although after hiring Phil we saw about 2-3 more charges magically appear on the wifes legal plate (already full). Phil assured both my wife & myself that he would do all that he could 2 keep her out of prison & after litigating, research, phone calls & paper work she was accepted 2 a 3 year program. Into the 1st 3-5 days in the program more charges were added & she was remanded & sentanced to 4 months on just 1 out of 8-9 charges & 2-3 different judges. Point is with the amount of dust that was flying around @ the time he worked hard & actually went out of his way to make it settle. He did far more than what i initially paid him for & expressed genuine concern as well as compassion for us as human beings. The fact that my significant other chose to lay waste to all of it was on her own accord. The money spent was not wasted in my opinion his client just failed to uphold her end. He did way more than he was paid to do going into other cases bobbing & weaving here & there behind the scenes. Will not go through anyone else in future if something should arise its a no brainer. I do not believe there is a better team of attorney's in Nevada. My case happened about 5 years ago and only now am I getting around to posting a review. Sorry, Mary... But better late than never , correct? To make a long story short. If your children are in the states custody, There is none that I would want in my corner than Mary Brown. She fought for me, like they were her own children. Honestly I was surprised by the knowledge and experience she brought to the table. I was going in circle's with previous council,until I hired her, and believe me it was worth every penny. I had my children back in our home in no time.. While I had to terminate my previous council, she picked up the case and familiarized herself with the details in just a few nights. Ive always wondered how legit these reviews are. So when i found Mr Phillip Brown on google i was sceptic to say the least. A couple months ago my girlfriend and I had a some nonsense happen at a pool party in Vegas. We were on vacation for the weekend and ended up both in jail for domestic battery. The laws in vegas are very serious with that type of charge. I found Mary and Phillip Brown on google and gave them a call. They were third on the list of attorneys i called. The first 2 were cheaper then The Browns. I know cheap isn't always the best answer. You get what you pay for most of the time. From the second that Stacy the office manager at Mr Browns office answered the phone it was a 100% different feeling from the other 2 offices i called. Extremely professional, nice and informative. She said the attorney would contact me within 24 hrs. Mr Phillip Brown actually contacted me 5 minutes later. Under promise over achieve. You have to speak to the attorney to understand my description of him as well as his wife Mary which was the attorney representing my girlfriend. The word comforting just isnt enough to describe how they make you feel. Trust me ive had a lot if run ins with different attorneys for different reasons im not proud of. And even when you are their client they down talk you all the time. They really dont listen to you and jump to judgement. Mr. Brown was the complete opposite. Almost as if he was a therapist. Im assuming. Ive never needed a therapist. Anyways point being is we told him our story. We told him we had to fly back out of town the next day. Our court day was a month away. We told him there was videos of the incident. Which wasnt really in our favor. None the less he told us not to worry. That we wouldnt have to come back to Las Vegas for the first court date and that he would send a letter straight to the DA with some details and ask them to not take the case because of mutual combat and stress that we had for being stuck in Vegas a few days extra because of Hurricanes where we reside. I received a call a few weeks later from Mr. Brown saying that the letter worked and our case was dismissed. Wow. It was incredible. Ive never heard of attorney contacting DA's prior. Usually they just wait for the arraignment and get all the info and police reports. Ofcourse by that time all the charges are filed and all you can do is try to settle or go to trial. The Browns took a completely different route and it worked. So to sum it up, Mary and Phillip Brown are amazing attorneys. I have never seen anything like it. Highly recommended. Mary & Phil are an amazing team! I've never been on the other side of the criminal block and being charged with Battery devastated me. I am a single mother of two, I work full-time assisting in the fabrication and fitting of prosthetic limbs, I am a very active member in the prosthetic society and volunteering within that community, therefore when all this stuff happened, I literally couldn't even believe I was in this situation. My son was charged with several counts of sexual assault, kidnapping, sex trafficking and assault; all against a minor and facing more than 100 years in prison. After an eventful 2014 New Years Eve in Vegas, I woke up to notice I had been robbed of all cash, credit cards, identification, and iPhone. After making it back to my home of record "Texas", I cancelled all credit cards to minimize the fraudulent charges. The nice thieves managed to get away with 5k in various charges. Boy do they love Home Depot! A week later, I received letter from the LV Municipal courts stating I was being charged with Petty Larceny. This was all attributed to identity, and credit card theft.
