Jonathan represented me during my appeal for unemployment compensation. My employer asked me to leave my other part time job to work full time at her salon. Long story short, she cut my hours to less than 20 per week after 2 months and refused to pay my actual earnings and tips. After 2 additional months of this she fired me, and claimed I quit. Jonathan presented the case the reviewers who were very enlightened regarding the employer's fraudulent ways. The case is still pending, but this lady will no longer be able to do this to her employees! He provided a great message for a fair price and stood by his word that he would give it his best effort. Before hiring Jonathan I had no hope. My immigration case was denied and the possibility of being sent back to Kenya was real. Mr. Stillo was very misleading with the information. I specifically asked for all the possible outcome and costs for this case giving me the impression that his fees were including court costs, expungement, his fees, as well as other possible fees, etc. After a few emails back and forth, I called to get clarity and he said this is getting a bit too much, in order for him to continue conversation he wanted to be retained or paid otherwise this case was not important to him. If someone is trying to hire you as an attorney they deserve to know what they are looking to pay from beginning to end. He gives the impression that he's offering a great deal but does not explain in clear terms. First court case in my lifetime, but you would think this would be a simple case he could easily win. I have a very clean record up until this mishap. Think twice and ask all the questions you need, why pay someone who doesn't make things clear. I've got the emails to prove it.
