Just like the other review I paid him my money he quoted to me, and would not hear from him,i always had to call to talk to him and his Secretary which was no help always answered and she never knew anything just that hes out or in a meeting,Oh yeah and if you get to talk to him he would ask you a question then cut you off before you could finish your answer and a Huff,Secretary would say I'll tell him you called is all I would hear,, I hired him in 2017, against my X for Violation of Mediation agreement and he is quilty,Joe even said he is, but time was getting away to get him in court because of no contact from Mr.Crabtree we finally went to court december 2018, after 2 cancellations,One I didnt know about, I showed up, but Joe didnt as he didnt even confirm my case on the dockets,And my X husband is still quilty of the charges,and because Mr.Crabtree wasn't prepared or speak up for me nothing got resolved I'm actually worse off now as I have to file Chapter 7 I'm broke, because of poor representation I wish I had never trusted him and found another Attorney but I dont have the money to fight again,I promise you this Man is not an Attorney that cares about his clients he even threw his hands up at me and walked off went to his office left me in the hall of Courthouse with WHAT?I dont recommend to anyone please don't waste your time or money with him you will be very disappointed and like me Sick..PLL.

Hired him as my divorce lawyer, horrible communication skills, please do not waste your time with this company you will regret it. I have had to hound him every step of the way to get him to do his job. Unanswered emails and texts, postponing court date and not informing me. Very unprofessional.

I hired Crabtree over a year ago for full custody of my daughter. I paid him close to $1700. Since he has not given me direct legal advice. I have called probably well over a million times. As other reviews on Avvo and google he is out of the office or in a meeting. His secretary is no help either. She promises to send the message to have him call me back but I have waited around all day on multiple occasions. When I go in to the office and demand to see him we sit and he promises me all kinds of things then sends me on my merely way back to square one. He owes the court money I gave him, he was served papers to defend me in court but failed to tell me and never went to defend me so now I'm stuck with a crappy lawyer and no rights to my child all because her father won temporary custody because my lawyer couldn't inform me of court nor defend me in that matter!
I give him a negative 0. Very unprofessional. A paid him $1500 to represent me and a child support cation. I called and called local times throughout the year I never would return my call I finally went down there and talk to him he tells me he forgot my case a year later so he sets up a court date for this the hearing and lone behold who does not show up Joseph Crabtree so I had to represent myself in a case that I paid him $1500 to do that he forgot about for over a year so yeah he should name his law firm...the law firm of Dewy Cheetum and Howe. Needs disbarred
