i have an old 1999 cub cadet garden tractor, which had lost hydraulics. no deck lift no forward no reverse. i brought it to Allens and was told to try something simple first like draing and refilling hydraulic . I took theirr advice and returned home. , in the ensuing process I discoverd the xmission filter was not correct size and was leaking. change the filter, added the oil and started the engingine. ALL hydraulics worked. They could easily attempted to soak me for a big bill, but instead shot straight with me.

They always take their time and help me to make sure I'm getting the right product their service after the sale is awesome so glad they're in my area Alan and Penny are the best

We just moved to Oklahoma needed to by a lawnmower so we went to the first big name home improvement store. Home Depot. Bought the mower 6 months later had problems went back to home depot. Asked about the warranty to which I was given the info in a rude manner. I guess because the sale was made and over. So I looked into warranty . the warrant read to look up an authorized Kawasaki dealer. To which I found Allen's power . When I went to drop off my mower I met the Owner Allen . And he treated me like a customer that bought the mower from them which I hadn't. He assured me that he would take care of the mower. And fix the problem under the warranty. Very nice to meet a business owner that treats you like a good ole boy. Support your local business owners because they are the nucleus of your community. Thanks Allen's power equipment.

Friendly staff

As I’ve read over other peoples reviews I’ve noticed that some people are not happy with the service. I’ve been going in for the past year and have had nothing but great service. So for someone to say they have had a bad experience baffles me. They’ve always been very helpful, and I’ve always gotten fast service. My opinion if you’ve had a bad experience it may not have been the service pros at Allen’s. Stand back and think of how your day started when you came in. Was it bad? If so I’d say you should try coming in on one of your good days. Thanks Allen’s for being great!!!!

I have had horrible service from the moment of delivery which was 2 hours late. Things were forgotten in the store and when I was not happy had a lecture from the son. If you don't want people upset then treat them right. As a woman everything wrong that happened was my fault and of course they had no fault. When you call you are put on hold for 5 min and they still are rude. Do yourself a favor and don't go local this time.

I walked in looking for a contractor grade weed eater. The owner came over and immediately began asking smart questions to make sure that what I wanted was what I needed. They were great and offered fantastic advice. I already planned on getting a brush cutting attachment and buying pre-mixed fuel so there wasn't anything to upsell me, but they made sure i got the appropriate cutter for my needs.

I read the other reviews before writing this, and it makes me wonder what makes some people tick. I have been dealing with these good folks for over three years now, and I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. I believe they genuinely try to get the right product for each customer's needs. Good folks, good products, and good service.

I fell in love with the staff at Allen's, pleasant country atmosphere with more selection and knowledge than the bigger dealers. The girls know what there talking about and make you feel welcome, my parts came fast and shipping was only 10 dollars.

Purchased my first ZTR at Allen’s yesterday - Gravely 42 inch. Penny took the time to understand my mowing needs and then recommended what she thought was the best mower for me. There was no attempt to “up sell” me and she took time to answer all my questions. She even gave me a lesson on how to operate it. My take is that they are a family owned business doing their best to meet customer needs. While I do not expect to have any problems with my Gravely during the warranty period, I trust that Allen’s will take care of any that may occur. They seem like good people.

I have just bought my first commercial mower since starting my business. Wonderful people to work with. I have bought all of my equipment there. And with the prompt service they provide I will continue to buy all of my equipment there. Thanks for the great service and i look forward to expanding my business.

Recently had some minor repairs done at Allen’s on my Gravely HDZT 60. When I dropped off my mower, it was in excellent condition. When I picked it up a week later, it was trashed. Looked like it had been left out in rain for the week and more importantly, the seat was damaged most likely due to the extreme outdoor elements from being left outside day in, day out. When I requested they either repair or replace the seat, they said they couldn’t and wouldn’t. Very disappointed with their customer service. Especially after paying as much for the mower as I did. They’re over priced in parts and labor and I would urge anyone to look elsewhere for a Gravely product.

Horrible - wasn't in the store 2 minutes wanted a pole saw and a Riding tractor. Told the sales rep no thank you to a zero turn, 4 different times said no thank you and still persisted. Just wanted to buy with out being harrassed. And I was with my 2 year old.

Amazing experience! I dropped my Toro off on Thursday around 4pm. Immediately they noticed that my battery was way too small (thanks Home Depot) and I'd for sure need to replace it. Monday I got a call saying it was possibly my starter, then they called me Tuesday to come pick it up. They have the best kind of customer service, direct and honest. I would also recommend not being an idiot like me and buy a lawnmower from a big box store. They had a better Gravely zero turn mower for $1000 cheaper then I purchase my Toro SS5000. In summary, I will always take my lawnmower to Allen's Power Equipment because they do great work and I trust them.

I recently purchased a Gravely ZT 52 HD for use at our home. Honest family business!! Love being able to purchase locally from a business and receive the best customer service around. We had the mower serviced for the first 8-hour oil change and inspection. Again, experienced trustworthy service. It's not a one time shop. We will be back for services & to purchase additional equipment in the future. They get a full recommendation from us!

I bought a Gravely zero turn mower here a few years ago. I've had great service here. I originally called Pro Power, but they guy on the phone was kind of nasty, so I went to Allens instead. I'm glad I did. My mower has been working great and Allens will pick it up and service it for me each year.

I see some of the other reviewers mentioning fuel issues. It is true that they are picky about fuel here, but it's true, fuel causes a lot of problems. I had a pressure washer that I only ran 89 octane 100% gas in for a few hours and after sitting for several months, the carburetor had to be replaced. Finding good fuel (even if it claims to be 100% gas) is not easy.

I have 2 gravely zero turns from here works wonderfully and there customer service is great, I wouldn't go anywhere else for help or for new equipment.

I have had nothing but the greatest of experiences here. My family and I relocated from an area where we did not need to do any form of yard work whatsoever. Having ZERO knowledge and now an acre to maintain since we moved to Oklahoma I was extremely nervous about everything from brands, techniques and services.

Allen's Power stood atop the many other retailers that I visited with their knowledge, product line, and services to the point where I was completely put at ease through purchase as well as the bumps and bruises that came along with me learning how to maintain land.

More of the same for this rip off artist. we took 7 pieces of equipment in there to be fixed. Of the 7, 4 of them were not fixed and or had additional damages. We took our mower in to be serviced, spent 700 dollars on it, the radiator was not damaged when we took it in there. When we got it home and started it up it over heated. Checked the radiator and it was bone dry. Added water and it leaked right out. The owner came out refused to repair it. I even offered to split the difference and pay half of the cost and he flat out refused. He got loud with me and I was seriously scared for my safety. I gave it one star because I had to to post this. DO NOT TAKE YOUR STUFF THERE.

I bought a big chain saw from them. It won't start. Or at least it is very hard starting. I took it back in 45 days and they said it was the fuel. they said I used to much oil in the fuel. they said it was fine, but when they tried to start it they had to pull it over 100 times to get it to start. I asked for my money back and they said no. Very poor service. Very unfriendly lady there that seems to have control over the man. So I am stuck with a new chain saw that won't start. Lost $700. Will never go back. Don't go there. I would like to file a complaint. Let me know if anyone knows how to file a complaint in choctaw, ok.

$107.00 later my big wheel trimmer wont cut grass. I took it into get running (would not start) when I got it back it ran great for about 10 min. called then and they said it was the fuel I said it wasn't its the same I use in my riding mower and that runs great so it cant be fuel. they still said fuel. so beware.

The manufacturer of my mower gave me two numbers of local dealers to contact for warranty issues. I reluctantly contacted ProPower first as they were closer (although they had several unflattering reviews here).

I had a broken mandrel housing on a riding mower. I'd already removed it myself. I only needed the part replaced. ProPower refused to replace just the part. They said they'd have to do the work themselves and there was a 2 month (yes month) back log for riding equipment.

Penny at Allen's told me to bring the part by. They inspected it and honored the warranty replacement. I was in and out in 10 minutes. It is worth the extra drive to go to them!
