It was a huge mistake to hire Lauren. A grueling experience entirely.
In my experience working with Lauren, I felt like I was on trial without a lawyer trying to explain my situation to the person I had hired to represent my case.

She wanted to proceed with a blasé "cookie cutter" approach- never wanting to be bothered with the details of my case.

Therefore, I spent the majority of my time trying to explain to her what the Judge had previously stated, the details of this case, and why I wanted to proceed a certain way.

She blew through my entire retainer, consultation fees, and has also billed me another almost $600 for a total of over $4000 and is now asking for yet another $2000 retainer before even representing me at my trial.

So, after being charged over $4000, I will be WITHOUT representation in court.

Let that sink in for a moment before hiring this firm.

Fantastic family law firm! All great attorneys that care about their clients, are easy to work with, and care about advancing this area of law. I've recently had a case with Randy Powers and he is a pleasure to work with, and clearly cares and spends time to not only advocate for his client, but to ensure that processes are in place to assist the entire family through this difficult process in the best way possible. Thanks for your hard work, Randy.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Randy Powers for my prenuptial. Not only was he incredibly personable but he was efficient and helped me to consider scenarios that were not necessarily considered in my original prenuptial draft. I found him easily accessible with any questions that I had and his responses were punctual and simplified enough that I could grasp them. Highly recommend Mr. Powers for his legal expertise.

The law firm of Little, Gillman-Tepper & Batley is AWESOME!!!! They are not only helpful and professional, but very personable as well. My wife and I needed counsel for a complex and difficult custody issue and we could not have had better representation. Everyone we worked with truly cared about our situation. We give the highest recommendation without hesitation for anyone needing legal counsel on family law matters. If you need help with family law....you could not do any better than the law firm of Little, Gilman-Tepper & Batley. #bestlawfirmever

Thanks for everything yesterday! I had a very informative and meaningful consultation with Lauren. I can tell that she is compassionate and strong which I admire in a woman and professional. Their firm has written a great book on New Mexico Divorce Law and they had recommendations for books to help my kids in this process! Thanks for the great gifts as well. I look forward to working with Lauren in the process that lies ahead.

Beware of false reviews. The woman commenting prior to me was never a client of the firm. Visit the firm's website for complete client testimonials. The firm's attorneys are top in their field and have exceptional client satisfaction.

Jan doesn't listen well. She writes worse. She filed a motion to reopen my divorce petition using a big fat lie. And she kept charging when she had to file an amended motion. When my husband and I tried to postpone the hearing, she wrote a stipulated order to speed up our divorce instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. Working with this law firm was the most stressful thing about my divorce. They ended up charging me over three times the upper limit they estimated the divorce would cost at my initial meeting. They made multiple errors, everything from not including information I had given them, overcharging me by an order of TEN, to putting down accounts incorrectly in the marital settlement agreement, to losing documents that I had to have my ex sign again. This was for a simple, uncontested, no-conflict divorce. RUN AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! I am sure there are many, many law firms that would do a better job with your divorce.
