My experience with Mr. Davis was great. I contacted Vince very shortly before my court hearing since I was not getting any advice from the court appointed attorneys. Vince (as he prefers to be called) came in and totally changed the dynamics of my case. Had it not been for Vince and his team of very experience lawyers, my case would have not been where it is now. Which is almost resolved. If you are thinking about getting a lawyer, don't think about it, DO IT, and get someone who truly specializes in your case, such as Vincent W. Davis. I was referred to Mr. Davis, through an old friend. She told me, this attorney saved her children from adoption. I was not facing the same dilemma, however I trusted her recommendation, based on the quality of my friendship, with her. As soon as I spoke with Mr. Davis about my case and my personal situation, he invited me in to speak in person. We hashed out the retainer and immediately I felt at ease, that I could continue working, with trust that he would take care of the details, I couldn't. The accusations I was facing were conjured from pure fraud. I don't know how CPS/DCFS gets away with so me of the garbage that they do, but I will tell you this... Mr. Davis shut them down. This firm is efficient and extremely professional. I recommend them to any professional, who wishes to expedite this court process. It is already unfortunate that you have to go through such pain but not to have experience lawyers on your side is worse. Yes the price is high and the stress on how to pay is great but you don't want to battle the county with a court appointed lawyer!! I was privileged to have Denise Adigun defend me on getting my daughter back. My 11 year old daughter made up some stories to me about her dad (stepfather) for me to kick him out and her & I to stay with the house as I was planning on leaving him and moving out. I fell for it and confronted him and kicked my husband out, then she admitted she made it up because she didn't want to move away from her school and friends. No big deal right?, wrong! she hinted to an old time friend that she seen as an aunt to her about the things she made up. Well that friend didn't get the last part that she had made it up and called CPS to have her dad (stepfather) arrested. All this seems like it would be an easy case and my daughter would be returned right away if not never taken over a misunderstanding, right? WRONG again! They removed my daughter, added to the story to even get a warrant to have her removed in the first place. They said I was a drug addict, I knew of the abuse and allowed it and that I myself belittled my daughter. The court made me take parenting classes and take counseling all while my daughter was placed in a foster home. My court appointed lawyer seemed more lost every time I seen him (15 minutes at court) than I did. I was terrified, my husband left, I lost my home and my car but most of all I lost my job from the distress I was going through. I was given 2 hour "supervised" visits once a week. 8 months later will be when I finally get my baby home. I lost everything because someone decided to make that phone call to CPS. CPS is meant to keep families apart and if you are in a situation that they are involved - DO NOT HESITATE!, have the Law offices of Vincent Davis on your side and defend you. You will feel as if a huge load is lifted from your back. I am not saying they will immediately solve your problems but they are well equipped to do so. Its sad to see the families at court that have no means but to have a court appointed lawyer and the sadness I see in their face as they walk out empty handed so defeated. Please have proper representation when you face the battle at court with the Law offices of Vincent Davis. But first you pray to God that He leads the way as you will need Gods strength to face CPS...

I want tell you the reason for the 2 stars was that the outcome and the cost. I believe Mr Davis is a fine lawyer especially in the area's that he specializes in his front man or case manager Burt Johnson is one of the most informed and sympathetic individuals you would ever want to meet as a matter of fact speaking with Mr Johnson was the reason I decided to hire the firm he was confident. friendly and knowledgeable about my problem. The retainer wasn't cheap but I figured in order to win I would have to pay a little more for what I felt at the time was the best. I didn't get Mr. Davis to represent me nor did I get Burt Johnson whom I would have happy if it were he representing me, instead I was given Stephanie Davis a very accomplished lawyer with a long list of credits, unfortunately I found her to be a bit cold and condescending and after paying what was to me a lot of money I ended up being forced out of my home and it was while out of my home that the firm asked for more money to continue, at that point i had to make a decision to cut my losses. I decided to let the firm go and move forward on my own and that's what I did and have been doing. Now in Mr Davis' defense I came to them a little late and should have retained them earlier and maybe I would have fared better I actually appreciate the way Mr Davis and Mr Johnson operate as well as there office all very professional and courteous,

All attorneys are NOT the same. Having been involved in 2 big trials in the last 2 years, I now understand what my attorney, Vince Davis has told me and that is that all attorneys have a license to practice law. But what differentiates trial lawyers is training and experience.
I watched Vince win the first trial and I picked up on certain elements of his training in that trial but I really didn’t appreciate that training and experience as I felt, yeah, he’s good at what he does but we should’ve won anyway and we did!
In this second trial, a much bigger case and probably the most important case of my life, I listened to Vince in the court room, watched him implement a strategy and watched him predict exactly what the jury was going to do. It was amazing! At one point, I seriously felt the opposing attorney was winning but Vince reassured me that everything would be alright as I was almost gasping for air. Vince skillfully questioned each witness with calm and grace. It was truly a skill that he’s developed and he damn good at it!
As Vince stood in front of the jury giving his closing, he said he connected with the jurors as he has been taught by one of his mentors, Gerry Spence and we won!
My advice is don’t go to trial with a lawyer that doesn’t at least have 20 years of trial experience AND a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College with the Trojan Horse Method of Trial Lawyers training.
Vince tells me all the time, all attorneys know the law, but not all attorneys have the formal Training and Experience.

We had an exceedingly negative experience with the Law Offices Of Vincent W Davis & Associates.

My wife & I are former foster/adoptive parents. Last year, DCFS placed a very dangerous & mentally disturbed 13-year-old foster girl in our home. DCFS was aware that she was violent, psychotic & sexually aggressive, but lied in order to get the girl placed. Because of this, we were put in a position where the child repeatedly sexually assaulted my wife, tortured our cats (paralyzing one cat & injuring another), physically assaulted & VERY nearly murdered both of us, until she was finally removed via ambulance & taken to a psychiatric hospital after claiming to be possessed by demons she saw in a mirror.

After she was removed, we filed a police report for sexual battery & assault. The day after the LAPD detective spoke to her, our foster daughter retaliated by filing an allegation against us, but community care licensing would not give us details.

We retained the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates for $3600 to file a lawsuit against DCFS & paid a second retainer of $6000 to learn what the allegation was & defend us.

Attorney Stephanie Davis of the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates was assigned to our case. We wrote up a 70-page long retelling of the abuse we suffered at the h&s of our foster daughter & DCFS, along with supporting documents, including demonic drawings & emails to social workers begging for emergency mental health services.
Attorney Stephanie Davis ignored us & refused to respond to any attempts at communication for an entire month.

After mentioning the breach of fiduciary duty to the receptionist at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates, attorney Stephanie Davis finally called & admitted she thought my emails ‘might have had a virus’ so she never opened them.

After two months of almost no communication between the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates & community care licensing, the case was referred to LAPD, who then called us. Attorney Vincent W Davis instructed us to have the officer contact him directly.

On May 29th, the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates called us & attorney Vincent Davis asked if he was representing us in the “criminal case”. We were shocked & his behavior was strangely guarded & ‘cryptic’. We initially said ‘yes’ (assuming that they would first exhaust the retainers we’d paid), but then he demanded a third $7500 retainer.

Attorney Vincent Davis is aware that we both suffer from severe PTSD & anxiety from our ordeal. Calling us at night with a tone that we interpreted as ‘panicked’ felt like a ploy to scare us into giving him more money. He claimed to have spoken to the police detective, however we later learned from the detective that this was not true & that she never once spoke to anyone from the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates.

We requested that the other two retainers be exhausted before paying him more. Vincent threatened to tell the detective that we were unrepresented unless we gave him another $7,500.

We became suspicious that our retainers were being kept while no work was being done. I sent the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates a concerned, yet polite email requesting a copy of our file to obtain a second opinion from another firm.

Attorney Vincent Davis retaliated by cancelling our contract in the middle of an active case. Attorney Vincent Davis CC’ed his entire staff at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates to stop all work on our cases & they then ignored all attempts at communication from May 30th until around a week later. Meanwhile, I filed a dispute on both retainer charges with my credit card company.

We never received our file or an itemized bill & have reported them to the California State Bar for ethics violations. We have also submitted for reimbursement of the stolen retainers from the state bar’s client fund.

It took our new attorney less than a week to learn what the allegation was & take big steps towards resolving it. It was so… ‘goofy’ and obviously untrue.

Thank you God for leading me to Attorney Vince Davis. He is one of the good guys. I couldn’t hire him due to financial reasons. But, I did meet with him, and communicated with him on several subsequent occasions, even while I was at court on the day of my CPS trial.

To make things worse, my court appointed attorney was changed one day before the trial, and this new attorney had no witnesses or exhibits to give to the judge on the day of trial. And this new attorney, not knowing anything about my case, advised me to just give up and not have a trial. And just lose my children.

I freaked and contacted Mr Davis again. I still couldn’t afford to hire him. And he was in the middle of a jury trial, but he took to time to walk me through exactly what needed to be done at my trial.

And followed his advise and I won! And my reunification services were NOT terminated. This would have not happened without the free help from Vince.

I recommend to everyone with a CPS case, call this man. You may not be able to afford him, but he’s so passionate about helping CPS victims, he’ll give you the free advice that might just change your case.

My children were wrongfully snatched from me and were placed into foster care immediately. Since day one that Mr Davis cake into my case he worked hard for us to be all together like the happy and united family that we were. I had a short case plan to complete. I had a horrible HEART RENCHING EXPERIENCE with this company since the very beginning of when I hired Vincent Davis Lawyers, I was told I'd be contacted in 48 hours with a Lawyer who be going over what our strategy would be, it took them 2WEEKS to call me back after I continuously called the office and emailed all my concerns and asked questions at the front desk , and all I was told was my lawyer who has my case"Mr. Kahn" has been out sick.. trust me when I say (CON) it's written in his name! I sent email after email with no response! My stomach was in knots waiting for something or someone to answer my concerns. At the 1st court hearing Mr. Kahn was out sick AGAIN so they had a woman fill in and address the court, I addressed my concerns to her and what she should argue and all she told me " it's protocal" it won't be used against you (time being away from kids) well it was used against me !! 2 weeks before court I walked into the VDL and complained about Mr. Kahn and him not answering my calls or emails and continuously being out sick that I wanted someone else to take over my case. I was told their clients come frist and that someone else would contact me..NOBODY called me not even Mr. Kahn. Came court date Mr. Kahn didn't even argue any of my concerns or implie ANYTHING to help me with my family , when I went to whisper some suggestions to him, he shushed me! Like wth really ? Yup he didn't do A DAMM THING TO HELP US! All they took was my 4500$ and sent me a letter that they'll gladly represent me at the appeal for an additional 8500$ Like just TAKE MY MONEY AND RUN!!! I'm a single mother who struggled to get that 4500$ and they act like I can just pull another 8500$ out of thin air just to get let down AGAIN all well Mr. CON collects $$

Wasted money for nothing...

Attorneys didn't return phone calls or speak to my husband until the morning of court. We were Double Billed, had hearings postponed several times and Missed important deadlines dealing with this office. Do your research, Read the bad reviews and not just the ones they payed people to post. Also, File a complaint with the Bar Association if you face similar disputes.

I regard the Law Offices of Vincent W. Davis & Associates as both highly professional and extremely competent Attorneys at Law. Vincent W. Davis & Associates has represented me in the past and represents my interests in a current case. This is not legal advice. Also, I will not answer requests for advice. I was confused, overwhelmed and frustrated before contacting Vincent W. Davis & Associates. I came under attack from social services and was the victim of false reporting and false allegations. But I keep good records and write everything down including conversations with social services employees (including times & dates) so I know what happened on a particular date, or what to do and what kind of Doctor to see if a problem arises. This was key to helping my attorneys fight for me!

After being angry about false reporting by social services employees, and being emotionally and physically exhausted, from having to fight this crap, and total waste of tax-payer dollars, and putting in all the stressful work I had to do, I was relieved and pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism that Vincent Davis, Stephanie Davis, Daniel Sharpe and the other stellar staff provided me -- they just got it! We were victorious in the courtroom! It also must be mentioned, that it probably helped in my case to have a apparently well-rested, thoughtful, and very Honorable Judge whom was receptive to my attorney's logical presentation of facts! I hired Mr Davis to represent me in a cps case against my daughter. the social worker had a nasty attitude and she kept lying to me about the proceedings and the process so I decided it was best to get a lawyer. yes he is pricey yes the attorneys are busy but you get what you pay for. the cheap comes out expensive in the end. his prices are fair considering the amount of work and research they(the associates) do. they make you feel like family and not a bonus check. I liked Mr Davis so much I hired him again. he doesn't make false promises, he does what he says he's going to do. If he doesn't think the goal is attainable he won't lie to you and say it is just to get your money. I love this firm, everyone is like family.

I probably would have gotten better representation from a Court Appt. Lawyer. I am not probably $15,000 in the hole and my son is living with his mentally abusive Father and mentally deranged Step Mother.

I hired Vince Davis in late March 2015, after I had my last juvenile court hearing. He and his office started working on my case immediately to try and reverse the damage to my case done by my court appointed attorney. The first thing he did was file a 23 page appellate writ & brief, and now he is filing more motions with the trial court to try and regain custody of my child. I wish I had hired Mr. Davis from the beginning. He and his firm are amazing.

We first hired him to represent me before a juvenile dependency case was even filed. But the social workers came to our home and took our children. My wife and I had our doubts after hiring Davis because things weren't happening fast enough. But we soon learned to trust and follow his advice. I am VERY disappointed with the Vincent W. Davis and Associates and their billing department. When we signed the agreement I was promised that any unused potion of my retainer would be returned to me. My case was a family maintenance plan that was transferred due to moving and only required representation at the acceptance and dismissal hearings. I paid the retainer, Mr. Davis showed up to the acceptance hearing and I nor the Social work heard from the firm until the day of the dismissal when another attorney from the firm represented me. I never received a monthly statement even though I called several times asking for one. My case has been closed over 2 months ago and I have yet to get any statements or refund of the balance of my retainer! I have called and talked to the receptionist and the accounting department continually getting the run around. I was finally told last week by accounting that Mr. Davis approved the refund of retainer and they were going to over night a check to me. A week later and no check and still no statement. I called today and was told I MUST have a phone conference with Mr. Davis himself to find out why I haven't received my check.

I am preparing to file a complaint to CA Bar Association.

Besides being friendly and welcoming, Mr. Davis has a unique talent. I went to see Vincent Davis, Esq. regarding the case of my baby son Nicolas. He taken by DCFS and 2 ladies who set me up. He was very professional and explained to me the trial process. My friend the former mayor of M.P. was very impressed by him. I retained Vincent Davis, Esq. and he assigned his associate Stephanie M. Davis, Esq. to my sons case. I am very happy he did. Stephanie Davis used all the evidence and dismissed my sons case. My son was going up for adoption and she saved him from being institutionalized. I am very disappointed with the billing department. When we signed the agreement there was no mention of travel fees. I expected to be charged the attorney's hourly fee of approx 350.00 per hour. They charged 1,540.00 for driving from LA to SD!! That is not including court time and other charges which includes emails, phone calls, sitting while waiting to be called into court. Promises were made before the case was reviewed which led me to believe we would have a better outcome. This law firm has 1 other complaint filed at the BBB that was "unresolved" regarding billing. I attempted to verify payments using my banks bill pay system which they refused to acknowledge. There is no way I am handing this firm my credit card info. Buyer beware!

Searching for the right attorney is never an easy task, especially knowing one is typically needed when something has gone wrong. I am please to say that I have found the right attorney in Mr. Davis. From the moment I met with him I could tell he truly cared about my issues. His advise with my legal matter was very helpful. He took time to help me understand all the legal jargon that was given to me. At a very stressful time in my life I am glad to know that I have found a law firm with my best interest in mind.

I wish there was a worse rating that "poor" as the services from Vincent Davis and associates were beyond the pale. I know for a fact that each one of these "excellent" ratings by anonymous users are all fake. Some examples of why Vincent Davis is not the legal council you want:

- Nobody is ever available to answer your call
- They'll forget your name
- One lawyer feel asleep during a meeting

and best of all, on a really simple case Vincent Davis managed to lose by simply: NOT BEING THERE. I was all alone in court.

Get a lawyer that answers your calls. Get a lawyer that doesn't demand a retainer before learning what your name is. Do not use Vincent Davis and associates unless you want to be ripped off. They don't have time for even the simplest of cases.

All Vincent Davis and Associates wants to do is *get your money*. They don't have the sharp knowledge of the law they pretend to have, as they have advised me to do what one *shouldn't* do if one wants to win a family case like mine, and I lost my case. They take a lot of time to do nothing, and the paralegals can barely even spell.

I found Vincent Davis through a friend who is an estate planning attorney, and has a great deal of experience working with family law firms. She gave the names of several family law firms, but once I met Vincent, I knew this was the place to be at this very difficult time of my life. At my first meeting with Vincent, I knew that he would protect my interests. It was obvious to me that he was not to be trifled with, and in fact, I would not have wanted to encounter her on the other side of my divorce.
Vince was extremely competent, calm and patient. Throughout, I was kept informed, my phone calls were returned promptly, and at each stage of the proceedings I was given options and the advice necessary to make the best decisions for my benefit. Vince and his team were always very respectful and mindful of my financial situation and handled my divorce in a cost effective and caring manner. They did everything possible, and succeeded in fostering an un-contentious, amicable environment at the least possible expense, while absolutely protecting my interests.
