I wasted 1600 on this lawyer!
I Was arrested on 5/31 -2015 and just had my court date this month of October .. Mostly contacts only by mail.. Never really informs or keeps you up to date , you have to be the one to call and ask for what's going on with your case. I was livid at the fact he barely talked to the DA or barely even did anything for my case , your better off with a public defender . Do not hire this attorney , I just received my first dui and I turned to this law office because of the raving reviews and thought surely if I'm paying someone 1600 they would do more than just show up to court. I did LOSE my dmv hearing and they nailed my ass in court. His conversation with the da was very fast and brief and THEN pulled me outside .. It seems he didn't take time for my case at all he just circled what the cops said in the police report and said its evidence " stumbling , red eyes slurring of speech" the normal standard cops use . I feel he was defending the police report and not my case. He was joking around with the DA as if it was a walk in the park , I mean I would too if someone was dumping cash in my bank account. I honestly should have fired this guy a long time ago.. He DID NOT fight for me he was NOT aggressive , I wish I forwarded my case and hired a new attorney and actually found someone else who would do exactly what he's paid to do. DO NOT waste your time money with this attorney . My drivers liscense was suspended for a year with my refusal and lost my DMV case ,I get a breathalyzer on my car, 9 months dui program, another day in jail, 2000 dollar fine , and will have to take an impact class as well. This guy really took advantage of the situation . Do not absolutely do not waste your time with this guy. Not strikes no scratches no nothing was done for me . I saw FREE. Public defenders helping less fortunate people with their cases and get counts against them rolled into one.
