So, decided to take the time to drop a little something here. I was sued by my daughter's father in a child custody case and I was on my way to meet up with a lawyer...when I couldn't find that lawyer and turned into a parking lot and came upon Sharon Jackson LLC. I just went inside even though I was already late to ask if she was a family lawyer...and she said yes she took my paperwork started looking it over...making copies jumped in asking me all kind of questions listening to what I had to say as opposed to what other lawyers were doing. They weren't listening to me they were just saying "yeah I'll take your case...this is what you need to pay me". But she did not do that...she truly listened to what I had to say and after a year-and-a-half my daughter's father was dragging the case out non-stop but we hung in there...and she fought for me and I have to say...I came out on top. I got way more than what I was even thinking I deserved or was asking for...she went above and beyond for me and my daughter.
She's 9 years old and I feel Victorious and vindicated all at the same time. I came out on top feeling stronger with a voice now that I didn't have before. My daughter's father would just do whatever he wanted to, give me whatever you wanted to, and pick her up whenever he chose to. But now everything is in black and white and I'm on top. I was referred to Sharon Jackson by my cousin, she handled her divorce and recommended I contact her for my divorce. I had met with other attorneys and felt helpless and clueless but I gave it one more shot. When I met with her she made me feel like I started to gained some control back in my life. She listened to what was going on and gave me great straightforward advise on what to do. While her services were not cheap, I didnt feel like she was squeezing me for every penny she could get. If there was an update in my divorce the office would call or email me. Any time I called to check on things her staff was always be pleasant and helpful. She is the only attorney in her law firm so I was not guaranteed to speak to her everytime I called, but she always returned my call within a couple of days. She would even call me late at night because she was back at the office working away. She is a woman who truly cares about her clients and does everything she can for them. I never wanted to go through a divorce in life but I'm happy that I chose Attorney Jackson to help me through it!

Hard to get ahold of and not caring. Does not return calls but will charge you for each call, email, or if you have to stop in because she never returns your call. If you are looking for someone to stand up and fight for you, this is not the one for you.

I hired attorney Jackson back in 2014 and she proved to be highly unprofessional and took advantage of me. I would not recommend her at all. I paid her a $500 deposit to help me enforce my divorce decree. I had a delay in moving forward due to an unexpected medical situation. I emailed her to explain my situation and my first red flag was when she did not respond to my inquiries in a timely manner. When I asked her why she never responded she replied in a rude and abrupt manner- that was my second red flag. I came in for a second consultation so that we could move forward with the case and she had me waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes while she was on a personal call, never even greeting me. When I finally got her attention she claimed she didn't know I was there even though she has a bell on her door, knew I had an appointment, and has staff that saw me sitting there. I was actually sitting across from the reception desk where she was talking on the phone! She didn't have my divorce decree in front of her, and was totally unprepared for my visit. She dropped me as her client via email stating that she had too many cases. When I asked for my deposit back she refused, stating that the work she did compensated for the money I gave her. I had only met with her twice for a short period of time so I'm not sure what work she did for me.
I requested receipts of all the supposed work she did and til this day I have not received anything. When I called her out on taking my money and bailing she accused me of being rude to her and her staff which is false. I hardly had any interaction with her staff except for a hello and I was certainly never rude to anyone. She basically needed an excuse for taking advantage of me. I honestly think she treated me this way because I am a poor, single mother and she feels I am not worthy of her time. This experience was highly disturbing and now I am clean out of 500 dollars with nothing to show for it. Shame on Sharon Jackson for unethical practices!

I read on AVVO that she had 10 years experience in divorce and custody cases and decided to hire her for my case. Throughout my case Attorney Jackson was professional and very knowledgeable about the law in regards to divorce and custody cases.
