This is one of the most genuine and sincere Lawyers I have ever met, base on the tenor and tone of some of the reviews below you can tell that there is something more sinister at work here because these reviews definitely does not reflect who this lawyer is. I have dealt with many lawyers and this lady is one of the few who spent a selfless considerable amount of time listening tentatively to my story to come up with the best defense solution for my case. I did not feel pressured during our interview and money was not a driving force behind her taking my case she even asked me if I wanted to take back $500 of my retainer (even after giving me a great price for taking my case), just so I can have money for food, bills etc. Karen is a wonderful person with a big heart and passion for winning I can see why people would mistake her aggressive drive for rudeness, she is direct and no nonsense which I like she just wants to get the job done and win. You want someone to fight your case and effectively argue in your defense, Karen is the one. Highly recommend....

I have known Karen Pass for over 26 years, and she is an experienced and competent attorney. I read the review by her Ex-husband and am surprise he has the unmitigated gall to comment but since he is a narcissist it should not be too surprising. He and an ex-employee (who tried to sabotage her business) have teamed up to try to ruin her life, and should not be believed no matter what they say. I see clients “family” commenting that she would not call them and tell “them” what was going on with husband’s, brother’s, sister’s, etc.’s case. Well and attorney is only permitted, by law and ethics, to discuss a client’case with “The Client!” Very few of the bad reviews are from actual clients, and that should tell you some thing. I will say I am a professional and personal friend of Karen Pass, and appear on her cases occasionally ( I have been an attorney for over 20 years). All attorneys have conflicts in scheduling on court dates because Judges schedule the dates, not attorneys. She sends attorneys like me in an attempt to not inconvenience her clients. I am writing this because I refuse to see a good attorney and good person slandered by ex-husband, ex-employee, non-client family members, etc.

Karen Pass is a Great lawyer, her and her team members worked very hard on my son case. They did a lot of investigation and on Mrs. Pass on time outside of offices hours she working on case. If anyone needs a good lawyer she would be the one.

Apparently it is due to a long term "illness" that doesn't allow maintenance of a consistent schedule or to keep other professional commitments in a timely manner. Praying for healing, but please you should let people know whats up before they put their trust and $ in your firm.

I read some reviews on here before posting a review and there may be some that are accurate and some that are not just as in all other business reviews but I do recall when I used her it was Karen Pass Troutman and now it is Karen Pass Attorney at Law and after reading one of the reviews i noticed that Michael Troutman left a blistering review and then it dawned on me that he was the guy that I spoke to followed up by the Attorney and then I hired this Firm and his description of her was totally opposite of how he has described it on here, We may have another Michael Cohen or an Omarosa on our hands... but on a serious note, I actually got a pretty good deal from her work in court.

I want to say Thank You to Ms. Karen Pass. She did great!!!! No jail time for a family member. Thank you so much. It was a hard couple of years but sure glad it's finally over. Thank you!

Hello Everyone, I want everyone to know that this may not be the lawyer for you, she took on a case for my brother for a probation violation, my sister lives in the same state as her and she and my sister in law was handling everything with him, she was paid and I cant say for sure if he was giving the best judgement because she wouldn't talk to us before his trial date about anything which I think that she wasn't working on his case at all she sent someone I'm assuming that works in her firm to talk to my brother once before his trial date. So the trial, we traveled to Georgia blindly not know what would happen but we wanted to see our brother cause he had been locked up for over a month now, they called his name at 9:00 and this lawyer was no where to be find so we waited and never saw him which today she did say that he never came out but she sent this man Kevin Corner. to represent him and no he don't work in her firm he was someone who didn't know the case and appeared on his court date, not at one time was we aware of him showing up or did he try and come and let us know what happened. I think that this was handled unprofessional and unethical not cause what the judgement was but because the lack of communication and she had after talking to someone who worked there she called back and still the same way. I will be filing a complaint with the Bar and BBB cause we care about our family member and if you took his case on you should have been more caring. Who wants to deal with someone who send another attorney to a case the same day who no nothing about the case, in my opinion that's bad practice. In my profession, if I cant make something I don't care what it is I will make time to make sure my clients know that I wont be available and either reschedule or let another if another banker . Please do your research before making a decision to use this person. Oh, I forgot to mention she was paid a great amount and was the highest of about 12 lawyers we spoke to and honestly I think a public defender would have gotten him the same Deal as she stated on the phone today ( in her words he got a great deal), but I don't talk legal cause that's not my profession but maybe we could have gotten someone who cared.

Ms. Pass and her staff are very professional and informative. She has always shown in court. I will definitely recommend her.

I hired Karen and am pretty satisfied with how she handled my case. Her staff is friendly and made sure that me and Karen were on the same page through the whole process. My case was in Clayton county, which she has a good reputation in, and I could've easily gotten jail time but she got me probation instead. I would recommend her and would use her services again. Hopefully I won't need it though

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!I didn’t even wanna give 1 star everybody that wrote on here that gave them 5stars work with Karen pass because they took my 1500$ never answers my calls didn’t come and talk to me about my own case I got a worse sentence than I had when she came into the court room she didn’t even speak I ended up pulling my whole probation time just from my first probation violation!! She had to get her assistants too speak to you she could never speak and the first and last time she spoke to my wife she fussed,cussed, & yelled over the phone too her! She is a bad lawyer she will get her assistants too tell you they can get you out of this and that & all of it is lies she made everything worse!!!! And she has no idea how to talk to people with manners! She is by far the worst lawyer I have seen if your looking for a lawyer your on the WRONG PAGE!!! And before I even went to court she told my wife she is a paid lawyer she done did her job and we haven’t even went too court yet , if that tells you anything she could care less like she said she is a paid lawyer!!! She is a HORRIBLE LAWYER!!!!

She’s great, I was a little hesitant because of all the negative reviews on here. But she came through.
I never spoke to her or met her before my court date, I had sleepless nights thinking about this court.......she was late (understandable my court is way up in the south) but I was so happy when the Judge called my name and said “Your attorney is running late” she called the Court and told them she was running late but was on her way!! After she got there spoke to me for a few minutes (Blunt/down to earth attorney ) we went back inside she went to the back I guess to speak to a few people, came back out and that’s when the judge said my name and “All 3 charges are dismissed” That was music to my ears!.....please ignore all negative reviews for Ms.Karen Pass, she’s great.

I hired Ms. Karen L. Pass to handle my case recently . Her staff was helpful and diligent about getting my case resolved . Ms. Pass and her firm worked with me through my legal ordeal and helped me to get the best deal possible and avoid time in jail. I witnessed some unfortunate people without adequate representation receive a far greater sentence for the exact same charge as I had. I would recommend Ms.Pass to anyone in the greater Atlanta area in need of legal assistance.

I will say something in reading these reviews. I've known Karen a long time and seen her work in the courts a long time. I personally have worked in the courts as well. Michael Troutman you were her ex-husband. You're going on here slamming her for medical issues and her worth ethics and bar complaints.

for one thing you being married to her and talking about her health stuff is pretty sad there are many people that work with health issues because they have to because they have no other source of income. I understand your process server in the state of Texas, it seems you have nothing better to do but go on here and stalk her and continue to write a bad review and get other people as well to help you. If you're going to slam somebody why don't you tell the truth and tell him how you're the ex-husband. I think you're afraid that that'll make you look bad on here. People need to know the truth on what you're actually saying and why because basically she got rid of you and it's showing how much of a loser you are by continuing to bash her. state of Texas and you has nothing to do with her in the state of Georgia she has done nothing to you. Go on with your life and rebuild it if it's in that situation where you need help.

For all the others on here I know how she works I know how much she works I know how in her heart how she puts her customers and what she does. Every case cannot be a win and we know this. Attorneys can take magical wand and make your situation go away. for you bash somebody maybe you should say why you were hired somebody and your charges.

And that other name Whitfield that you keep saying that is her brother where do you even get the proof of that maybe that somebody defending her that also used her that you have no clue about because you worked in her office and that's another thing that people need to know you worked in our office and you were married to her and you continue to bash her because she divorced you.

Michael Troutman on bashing Karen Pass.

Michael is 51 years old. Lived in 48 different addresses. 2 bankruptcies and evicted in 2015 from a home. It's on record. So before you judge think of yourself.

I hired Karen and she was helpful from day 1.
I'm very happy that she represented me.
I was found not guilty on all charges.

I hired Karen pass as my son and my attorney.
Unfortunately I have to say that was the biggest mistake I ever done for an important situation for my son and I.
I just want to let you guys know please read the reviews before you do the same mistake which I did .
She won’t answer your calls or won’t meet you when you need her since she has so much in her plate including being sick her self
I think the best things she need to do go head retire and take care of her health other than taking money from us and not doing a thing thought your case
Please be careful what type of attorney you pick .
I fired her soon as I saw she’s blocking my number she’s not answering me calling Office and still not getting the message to her trying to email 10 times and one of them was answer not even meet me for the whole year to go over my case and my son case is just horrible horrible attorney that I deal with thanks God I fired her in the right time and I hired another attorney which he did best for my son and bring down his jail time from seven years to one and half a year

It was not a pleasant experience. These people act like they are for you but only want your money. The people in the office are very rude and unprofessional. To top it all off, I paid for a lawyer that I NEVER seen in my life and still til this day I don’t know what she look like. It’s sad that she has to rob honest working people to put food in her mouth. But what goes around comes around. Every dog have their day!

I called in to ask about documents they had from when I used them in the past. The guy that answered the phone was extremely, EXTREMLY rude. All I wanted was a copy they would/should have on file and he told me how hard it would be for him to have to find that file and it shouldn't be his responsibility to keep track of documents. I honestly don't know how these people still get clients when half of the reviews are all saying basically the same thing. He ended up hanging up on me and purposely hanging up the next three times I called. It would be nice if they can be held responsible for their actions just like criminals are held responsible for theirs...

My daughter was facing a license suspension for speeding! With her age and the speed she would of lost her license for a year! Thanks to Karen she was able to keep her license and hopefully learned a lesson! Thank you again!

Karen Pass is by far the best attorney out there! The results she obtained for me on three separate cases in 2016 were above and beyond anything I expected or could have hoped for. In all of my cases the best possible outcomes were achieved. Karen and her entire staff were very professional and worked extremely hard throughout the entire process to get the end results that we did. I truly have to say thank you to Karen and her entire staff for everything they did to help me out!! There is no better attorney out there and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney who will fight to get you positive results!

Never answers calls but makes sure to call for payments every week which is the only reason we found out any info on my girlfriend's case. The day before court after my girlfriend flew to Atlanta from Orlando FL was told her case would be postponed because Karen was to busy that day so after I called and had a long talk with her office then she could make time for her case. Day of court she shows up 5 hrs late and doesn't have any info for the judge. Karen was crying in court over her dog passing away. I'm sorry for her dog but your in court that's very unprofessional. After calling the judges office to talk to him about the unprofessional lawyer and what I can do they informed me this wasn't the 1st complaint about Karen and they had no info on my girlfriend's case that the public issued lawyer would have done a better job. She took our money didn't explain anything to us and lied about everything her office workers told us. All she does is collect money. Nothing about her and her office is professional or in anyway helpful. I was told by the court to file a complaint with the GA bar. After Karen's office returned my call the day after court and defended their actions I guess I was to much for a law office to handle and I got hung up on. I thought lawyers and there employees argued for a living. Do not hire this woman she is a crook. She should be put in jail for stealing people's money.

Terrible, the worst lawyer you can ever deal with
Its been 1 year since we contracted her services and within this year we have not been able to meet her, we have came to 8 calls to court and she has never showed up she is nothing but lies her staff is very rude and unprofessional one day i called and the line dropped on his end and someone with the name of john thought we had hung up the phone and i heard him curssing us out, she takes your money and will steal it. It has been one full year since my case and all we have received from her is sorry she was caught up in another case just poor excuses. REST OF THE STAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THE PHONE. I WILL FILE COMPLAINT WITH STATE BAR ASSOCIATION BECAUSE SHE IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALL SHE DOES STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Karen Pass has helped me (and some family) out of several driving "spots". She and the office staff are professional folks, very knowledgeable in the law. She has been at this awhile, and knows how to approach each situation. I was very happy and will contact her in the future if needed. I also tell all my friends and fellow employees if they have a problem to contact her office.

rude unprofessional, confused liars and thief's . The attorney her self is child like when confronted on how terribly her temporary staff handles things and the office manager well he is a flake he needs people skills and anger management.
By the way they got $1500 from me and i got the run around. They also offered me a service in an area of law they do not practice.

Has employees trained to answer phones as if they are licensed to practice law.
Is a liar. Is a cash cow. Never consults with certain individuals directly through her email, voice or in person.
If an attorney's husband advises you otherwise of her practice then you know you're in for trouble.
Refuses to provide itemized billing.
