The worst law firm in Cobb County

I never wanted to leave a review but feel that maybe the only way to get them to call me back. My accident was over 4 years ago. I've been trying to contact my case worker Gary Tate and Neil Flit sense September this year just for an update. I even left a message that I would leave a review. I received an email from Neil asking if it would be ok to talk tomorrow. That's been over a week and still nothing. Yes, I responded with "yes".
Comcast is a paid vacation compared to Flits customer service.
It's now 2-16-19 and still no call back. Truth

my settlement was stolen out of 250,000.00 he has not paid me anything. instead had another attorney send me a notice to stop contacting him. HE IS A CRIMINAL AND SHOULD BE IN JAIL NOT PRACTICING LAW!!! DO NOT EVER HIRE HIM!!!!

I wish I could give him a zero. He hasn’t helped at all. If anything he has made it worse! Do not recommend!!

BUYER BE WARE. I hired Neil Flint because I thought he would do a better job then the rest of the attorneys I read about. My accident happened in 2013. I called his office about every other month for 3 years for an update and was always told it was in litigation. I finally stated that it couldn't be in litigation that long and wanted to talk to someone. I was sent a letter saying this is a long process. Then the summer of 2018 I was sent an appointment to come to his office. When I walked in with my husband you could see the expression change when he saw we were a mixed race couple! He told us at that point that the court order was sent to the wrong place and had to be refiled but not to worry, it happens all the time. I was also told that if I had back surgery it would help get more money. I told him no because my back was not injured to the point where I need surgery - his demeanor immediately changed! Early December 2018 I was sent a letter stating that they couldn't find the woman that hit me and that I had to find a different attorney to take my case, if that was possible, because they could no longer work my case or I would have to pay court costs myself. That isn't going to happen because I am still seeing doctors. The statute of limitations had run out. You only have 2 years to file a case for injury in Georgia. Neil gave me 10 days to respond. I sent an email responding and sent a certified letter but to this day the letter has not been picked up from the post office. To say the least I am deeply disappointed in this law office. I know lawyers are shady but I think Neil Flint's office probably is the bottom of the pit.

It’s no way everyone is having similar issues , it seems like a big insurance fraud rink that no one wants to stop because if one lawyer goes down all around should fall, nope not when they all know each other and have a conflict of interest. He never returns phone calls.
I've spoken to him briefly 4 times in ALMOST 4 years he's been handling my case.

Doesn't return clients calls

Close to 4 years went by and I only met him twice and talked to him on the phone 3 times. Melissa is the WORST assistant ever put on this earth! She NEVER NEVER EVER returned my calls and I only talked to her twice in the almost 4 years of my case. No matter how many messages I left it would always take 7 to 8 months to get a response. Gray, the best guy there and I don’t know if he works there anymore actually talked to me every few months. But I didn’t start talking to him until late year 2 of the almost 4 years of my case. And the medical bills are outrageous. Inflation. I’m going to the medical board about it and I’m going to cause a lot of attention about it. Might even call cbs news. Anyway don’t ever use this firm! Ever!

Neil flit should change his little tune from been hit Call Neil Flit to Neil flit is full of S***. I was in an accident in 2015 and hired his firm to help me.I spent over 2 years calling constantly about my case and every time somebody new was working my case.They never returned calls and barely answered the phone. Finally in 2016 Neil calls with a low balled settelment offer that I said I would take just to be done with his sorry law firm.He told me I would recieve forms in the mail to sign off on the agreement, that never happened. Since then Ive called and called sent several emails and have not recieved a response from this thief. I am looking into how to recover the money he has stole from me.Do Not Waste your TIME with this man. He had no integrity.

You would want to contact the bar association and report his office as promptly as you can. No resolve here, bill collectors will be calling you for payments that he has already received checks from insurance companies and did not pay them out. Run around with his answering service, goodluck in trying to get any resolution here, do your research please. CALL THE BAR ASSOCIATION AND REPORT!!!!!

This so call lawyer is a scammer. If your case is fairly new CHANGE IMMEDIATELY. This unprofessional ass lawyer will give you the run around throughout your entire case. No one will give you updates on your case. Well let me tell you a little bit about what I experienced with this idiot of a lawyer. My accident happened April 2015 and carried on until March 2017. If you been with this idiot of a lawyer for a while you have to research everything he tell you. Once your case have settled get a copy of your settlement check, copies of every check he paid out for your bills. Check behind him to see if every party have been paid. He will try and give you fake documents. Call the State Barr and make a complaint, they will send you out a sheet to fill out and explain what’s going on ; please do these steps. Call the local news and get them to come out for and interview and let your voice be heard about what this filth of a lawyer is doing to you as a client.i did all of these things and I finally got most of what this bastard owed me. If possible continue to let this idiot take advantage of them he will continue to do so. EVERYONE OF YOU Need TO SPEAK ABOVE WHAT’S GOING ON. Writing views is doing nothing. Stand up for yourself and report this bastard.

I am a chiropractor and have worked a few cases in the past. Every thing that the 1 star ratings say about him are true. He ripped my brother and sister in law as well as myself and countless other patients. He deserves to be in jail and disbarred.

They will not return your call

Has my money will not release i had to have surgery n he paid a passenger in my car that wasnt hurt and me and my kids was hurt he keeps giving me the run around...i called the state bar to file a complaint

This is the sorriest so called attorney he does nothing but lie,steal,has no morals no sympathy or empathy for anyone he totally took hundreds of thousands from my best friend conned them and tried to ruin them because he didn't have the money for someone else's case tried to cover from other people money but he will never get away with it

They have been working on my case for two years now. I have been calling them for about three months and emailing them but I cannot get a response about my case.

They have been screwing me around for 3years now an had me sit outside the office for a hour with the door lock I'm calling the better business bureau and getting a different lawyer

I am one of the doctors this office ripped off. We effectively treated our patient represented by this office. We provided the documentation as requested with the proper patient medical release of records. We know that cases take time and periodically over the course of a year and a half after releasing our patient our staff would check on the status. We never had a phone call returned by a lawyer or anyone in charge of the case. We only had communication with the front office staff who said they would forward our urgent message to the case manager.
After hearing the rumors of this office and receiving the run around for 18 months I decided to call my patient. They said the case settled over a year ago. It settled for a large sum in which they received very little. The law office told them all the money went to doctors bills. They were very surprised to hear my bill was not paid. This is not over. I have the time, energy, resources & I am no stranger to testifying in court. I am going to make sure this does not happen to anyone else. If you are considering this office don’t. Contact me and I will help you find someone with ethics and integrity to help you. I am easily researchable on Google. The 1 star would be less if I could do it.

I hope people read the horrible reviews before ever calling this fraud lawyer . I had gotten rear ended by a kid who was texting back in 2015 . I got the full settlement of 25k and funny I only got 1000$ from the whole chaos . Everything else was owed to the lawyers and medical providers . These providers were people the lawyers office referred me to , so fast forward to 2017 . I get a letter in the mail about a medical lien being put against me because I have an unpaid balance of 10k with one of the medical providers. How in the world ? Lol I walked away with 1000$ and they kept the rest to pay these bills off ? Why has it been almost two years and my doctors haven’t been paid ? So when I call the lawyers office no one returns my phone call , I always speak to the receptionist who takes my message over and over again . The people who handle my case don’t even work there anymore . This place is a scam !

I never leave reviews but i was compelled to try in case anyone reads this Please DO NOT TRUST NEIL FLIT WITH YOUR CASE. They gave me the absolute worst service after my accident. For months no one returned my calls, kept me informed or even emailed. Finally when i got a hold of my "attorney" she gave me the run around and said it would take a year and a half for them to settle. 1 year and 8 MONTHS passed and still my case was no settled and no information from them. I finally decided to release them and then had to find out they didn't send a release form to the hospitals and companies. I cannot get any of my records because they still believe this terrible company is representing me. I've called them several times to officially send the letters to the right people and they still to this day will not respond to my calls or emails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH NEIL FLIT. NEIL FLIT WILL RUIN YOUR CASE. CHOOSING NEIL FLIT IS THE WORST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE. Learn from my mistake.

My accident was a year ago . I still have yet to speak with someone other than the receptionist , that says I'll have your attorney to give you a call but never does. I haven't even been to the chiropractor. This is so unprofessional and disorganized. I am not pleased with the service .

Terrible experience. They've been handling my husband's accident case for two years now....with no results. We are receiving bills in the mail, and they keep giving us the run around. Not only was his case passed through multiple hands, but the attorney who was recently on the case is no where to be found.

I had a great time with the firm at Neil Flitt, they resolved my every issue and were courteous to me the entire time.

Rough getting in contact with anyone in this office, no one in the office communicated with me for months between communications, attorney representative kept changing, very slow moving. I do not recommend!! If I could give less stars, I would.

I would give them less than 1 star if I could. It's impossible to get a call back. I have left SO MANY messages with the receptionist who always tells me the same thing: my case manager is unavailable but she will get an urgent message to her. It has been 16 months since my accident and more than 7 months since I spoke to someone. I have had two different case managers leave the firm and no one ever tells me I have a new one, so I'm e-mailing someone that isn't even there anymore. My medical bills have been placed in collections and are now on my credit report. I don't know how to proceed. I can't afford to get another lawyer. I guess I'll call the t.v. station and let them investigate.

Neil Flit is a conman who steals money from the poor to enrich himself. He did not pay one of the doctors who treated my injuries, now 3yrs later the doctors are comin after me for $19,500 bill DONT EVER USE THIS LAW FIRM OF NEIL FLIT and ASSOCIATE THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Will never recommend this law firm to anyone. Within a year i have only received a handful of calls from them about my case...I usually had to call them. Mr. Flint called me in October to tell me the insurance company had settled....and now NOTHING! I have tried to call them and NO ONE will return my call. The Dr. Office for my husband has turned over their bill to collections....which was suppose to be paid out of the settlement from the offices of Neal Flint! A man is known by his reputation and from what I can see it's not a very good one.

I trusted them with my case I asked for the office manager to call me that never happened I asked for Neil Flit to call that never happen they closed my case without my knowledge very unprofessional practice I was recommended by someone and got the worse treatment. I wouldn't recommend this attorney to my worse enemy! I have a pretty open and shut case...I was hit by a drunk driver who totaled my car and drove away. This was NYE 2014! Since hiring them, I have ONLY communicated with them when I called them. In the last NINE months there has been no communication from them despite my numerous calls/emails. I've even contacted the State Board about them. I did manage to get one young lady on the phone who did state that they had settled with his insurance company LAST JULY, and I received not ONE DOLLAR, nor did I even receive notification that they had settled. I still haven't heard from them. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT! How do I get my case from them?

Absolutely the WORST!!!! My attorney never responds to my calls/emails. I really don't know what's the status of our case. I'm extremely disappointed with that firm. They was recommended by another client but it was at the beginning of our case. It has been the longest frustrating year dealing with this firm. I guess that's what expected from T.V. lawyers.

My accident occurred in Nov. 2014 and the case still has not been settled. I spoke to Mr. Flit in Dec. 2015 and we agreed on a settlement amount. Every since Jan. I've left several messages to get an update and I have not heard back from anyone. A few days ago I was promised that I would receive an email requesting an update sent to Matthew and myself. I never received an email or phone call with an update. It's becoming exhausting to contact this office and not get a response back. I definitely will not refer anyone to Neil Flit and I regret choosing him to handle my case. Maybe me contacting the Georgia bar association may help, that's my next step.

HORRIBLE company!! My accident was 2 years ago in June! When we could get ahold of someone we were finally told it could take up to -ten years- to settle my case. A case where a single cab truck ran a stop sign and totaled my 8 passenger SUV. He was sighted at fault by the officer. We've been through 3 "case handlers" and have directly talked to mr Flint. Please stay away from this company!

I really Don't know what to say ... its been 3 years and there is no payment to the Medical bills from the 'Law Office of Neil Flit, and as a result the hospital staff is behind me and they are threatening me, and I am going through lot of Mental trauma and tension just because I choosed to file my accident case through this Law office and most frustrating point is no one is answering the phone calls, looking at thing I believe this is how this law firm making money by cheating their clients.

This law firm lied to me, never returned phone calls and gave me false information about my case. I went through 3 case managers due to all the other case managers quitting their jobs. The receptionists were rude and had no clue as to how to treat clients. If your case doesn't warrant millions you are insignificant to this firm. I would not recommend this firm to fight a parking ticket case for me

I spoke directly with Neil regarding the accident, he suggested medical providers to evaluate and document my injuries, his staff was friendly and helpful during the process, and the outcome was even better than I had anticipated. These people are the absolute worst. I was hit by a car while riding my bike in September of 2013. The driver received a ticket for failure to yield so it should have been a fairly easy case for them. Immediately after the accident they sent me to a chiropractor that was obviously just in it for the money. I had to see him 3 times a week for over 3 months. In that time the law firm completely forgot about me. On the rare occasions that they answered the phone or returned my calls they didn't remember who I was or the details of my case. When I finally finished the "treatment" I was assigned to a lawyer that quit in the middle of the case, before he quit he told me on several occasions that he was too busy to call the insurance agency. I wasn't even notified that he had quit, after several weeks of no contact I called and was told that my case had been reassigned. The new lawyer had no idea what was going on but she at least settled the claim. The settlement offer was extremely low and did not even cover all my doctor bills. The Law Office of Neil Flit and their crooked chiropractor ended up with more compensation than I did. The whole experience was a waking nightmare.

I was in an accident in June of 2013. The guy who hit me initially told me that he didn't have insurance, but I found out he did. I called Neil Flit's office and he sent one of his intake officers out to my house because I was pretty banged up. The gentleman who came out was somewhat professional but as the process went forward, I found out he took down a lot of very bad information. As time progressed I never actually talked to Mr. Flit, I worked with his paralegal Trudy Tinnin (sp?). She was pretty responsive but did not thoroughly explain the process to me. She told me to send her a copy of all the bills as I got them, which I did. She said that once a settlement is reached the money will then be used to pay those bills and I would receive the rest. I received my settlement a little before the six month mark of hiring them, which was great. About a month later, I received several calls from debt collectors saying that I needed to pay these hospital expenses. I was sure that it was an error so I called the law office and was transferred to the woman who handles the settlement disbursements. She explained to me that the information I received from Trudy was incorrect and that they would only pay the chiropractor and my health insurance required reimbursement amount. So now I'm stuck with $2000 worth of bills that I thought would have been paid upfront.
Overall, it's a good firm they just need to do a better job of explaining the process to their clients.

BEWARE DOCTORS AND CHIROPRACTORS. DO NOT ACCEPT PATIENTS FROM THIS LAW FIRM UNLESS YOU GET PAID UP FRONT. I currently have 3 patients that were represented by this firm. According to the patients the suits were settled months ago and all doctors bills were to be paid from the settlement. I AM NOW IN THE POSITION WHERE I WILL HAVE TO FILE SUIT AGAINST MY PATIENTS TO GET PAID! All I ever get is an answering machine when I call and I have left literally dozens of messages. No one has ever called back. I did get to talk to one person several weeks ago, only after calling and making threats to file a claim with the Georgia Bar Association, and I got “the check is in the mail” bit. Not sure if it is dishonesty or just incompetence.

i had to end my case with them because they would not keep in touch or return calls.
they would drag out the case. a lot of the ones my case was assigned to told me straight out, they had to wait on Neil to authorize them to proceed...AND HE PROCRASTINATES TOOO MUCH. MY CASE WAS NOT VERY HARD, but apparently they couldn't handle it...to many of his workers had their hands tied....very poor attorney....very poor communication....very poor legal representation.....DONT CALL THESE PEOPLE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF...
