I had multiple partners work on my case and an army of paralegals. Legally, they didn't do anything wrong ... they just put you into their system. Later I saw one of the four partners who worked on my case driving a white Tesla around town.Ask other family law firms what they think of them.

Every year they invite their clients to a firm party where one of the partners plays matchmaker to their current and former clients.

I can tell you from experience there are better family law attorneys who haven't burned out and become cynical like this group. As with another negative review I read, I am leaving my review anonymous to protect my family. Kathy Portnoy and crew have already done enough damage.

I came to Charles after filing what I though was a simple divorce case. Unfortunately the divorce took a turn unexpected since my Ex-husband did a counter claim for primary Custody of my two children ages 4 and 5. I called around to many attorneys until I finally found Charlie. The minute I spoke to Charlie I knew that I found the right person to fight for me in court. Traci Weiss represented me in a very lengthy and challenging custody modification case. She was very responsive to any and all questions during the process, regardless of the time of day or weekend. I`ve used their services only once; in particular, the attorney who followed my case was Barry B. McGough. This review only concerns this guy.
First of all, Barry B. McGough is a very expensive lawyer. He pretty much charged me for every single thing he did for me at very high fees.
When the day of my trial came, he wasn`t prepared to fight for me in court.
I can`t prove it, but I had the impression that he didn`t even read most of the important documents that I had given him.I would not recommed Barry B. McGough. I hope that the rest of the attorneys who work at this "reputable"firm are different than him.
