A little disappointed I didn't read these reviews before I made my decision. Already a bad experience without meeting anyone who is employed here in person. Completely unprofessional, especially since I sent quite a bit of personal information via email early morning and never even received confirmation. Also, they added an additional $100 "filing" fee to my case that made no sense. Very rare to find a review summary where the firm/company has more bad reviews than good. Stay away!! Obviously.

My husband and I has used Harris Family Law Group a few times.They have never once failed us. Answered all questions in a timely manner. Staff is always polite. If we should need their service again, there will be no hesitation for me.

I left my other family law attorney as I felt I wasn't being treated properly and I did not like the way my first attorney explained the process. I am so glad I found Jeffrey Harris through a referral as Mr. Harris was empathetic during a tough time and he made the divorce process easy. We hired Jeffery Harris for a good sum of money for our amicable divorce to be filed properly in 2011. He promised us we could call him at any time. It took several attempts just for the paperwork to be filed properly. A quadro was filed and rejected by the courts and it had a date 3 years prior to even our separation. Our pension plans have been frozen and he will not talk to us about the mistakes and paper work he did not file for our futures. In fact he hangs up and is rude! We are considering starting the process to file a suit against him it has cost us so much more now. Do Not hire this man he is incompetent as a lawyer and is a scam!

Very abusive and unprofessional didn't have my best interests in mind. Too many Communication issues so I had to find another Attorney. Guess that's the reason he has such low ratings. Beware! Took my $$$ and I'm a Disabled Veteran.

Update on Jeffrey L. Harris.He has two cases pending and has already had his law license suspended for 1 year but had it reduced to 30 days with our legal system free from Jeffrey's predatory behavior. He is once again an active lawyer. Jeff's lack of a Soul means he will repeat this "Racket" . So get ready for a Federal Rico complaint as the reviews expose a knowing pattern of deliberate tactics that involve His client, the Courts, and the aid of opposing council . My opinion is Jeffrey's clients and the courts are unknowingly victims. As far as Opposing council, I'm on the fence. Bad people do bad things to people and now we have multiple lawsuits that prove the Lies, Deception, and lack of Humanity that we have read for years on the Internet.

Jeffrey Harris got the job done and done well. He is very knowledgeable, competent and responsive. He expedited my divorce proceedings and protected all my interest. Harris Family Law is a very bad Law firm that overcharges, so they can steals clients money. The lawyer and staff are all rude and angry all the time. I don't recommend this law firm they will take you to the cleaners with no results.

This is not a "fake" review. The following is my opinion, and based on my personal experiences with Mr. Jeffrey Harris.

I believe Mr. Harris to be the worst attorney that I have ever had dealings with, and would quite strongly suggest that anyone in need of a Family Law Attorney go elsewhere.

I found the “Harris Family Law Group” through what I now believe was a bogus “Fathers’ Rights” website. From the beginning, he misrepresented his (lack of) experience to me, made numerous and repeated mistakes in both legal documents and filings (that opposing counsel took advantage of) and wound up costing me a lot of additional money when I had to get another attorney. I found Mr. Harris to be very unprofessional, and feel that his poor actions did much more harm than good while serving as my divorce “counsel.”

It’s my opinion that Mr. Harris uses his “Flat Rate” fee to lure in potential clients, with the intention of either settling each case quickly (making it cost-effective for him) or getting his client to pay and release him due to disagreements. If that’s the case, either way, he gets his money.

In closing, I only wish that I’d found all of the other negative online reviews about Mr. Harris before I signed with him.

I cannot speak highly enough about Jeffrey Harris and the Harris Family Law Group. Mr. Harris handled my case with professionalism and compassion. He and his associates made an emotional and difficult situation more comfortable than I ever imagined possible, and for that I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend the Harris Family Law Group for anyone looking for a family law attorney.

I had a great experience with Mr. Harris and Harris Family Law Group. I found him to be professional yet personable, and he handled my case exactly the way I wanted. I felt comfortable and secure having him on my side, and I definitely would not want to be going up against him in court (in fact, I suspect some of the less flattering reviews are from people who found themselves on the other side of Mr. Harris!). I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a family law issue. He knows his stuff and will take great care of you.

Larry & Bill I completely agree! Unfortunately I hired this attorney too. Everything seemed to moving fine with my case. Then without any warning he went on vacation in the middle of my case. So the paperwork that was done incorrectly now had to wait 3 weeks!! Who does that? If I hadn't already paid him a flat fee, I would have fired him on the spot. I found out later I could have.
It's pretty obvious all those Avvo reviews are fake. The one bad review I saw on there was buried on the last page.I'm going to file a complaint with the Bar. I suggest all of you do the same! .

Bill I totally agree!! Also FYI, Avvo is driven by attorneys and very easily manipulated in the favor of the attorneys, just look at Jeffreys Yelp page, not 1 good comment!! Jeffrey conspired with opposing council on my case as well. The reason I know,besides the obvious no paperwork done ,however a huge phone bill for talking to the other Attorney. Is after one morning of taking a beating for not turning in the right motion, I followed my attorney around the courthouse into the back parking lot where the other Attorney parked his Mazeratti, and I caught the two laughing and talking for 52min, I timed it. The other Attorney was a big Beverly Hills Attorney. Jeffrey often thanked me for giving him the opportunity to rival against him, I always thought that was odd behavior seeing as how he never opposed anything thrown at us. Now I see how it works. This puny flat fee attorney becomes a Big attorney by allowing him to file whatever motion he wants until something sticks! All the while getting a kick back from him. This is how in my oppinion Jeffrey makes his money. This isnt family law its family mob. The lawyers make the law, or so they try. We need to speak out more as they are making the legal system look bad, and they are hurting innocent people going through what is probably the toughest time of their lives! Worst excuse for a representative of our legal system!! Flat fee attorney is what he is. Everyone goes to law school studies the same stuff, and has huge loans to pay off. So why is he just a measley flat fee attorney? Well Jeffrey makes his money by working for the other attorney (Opposing Council) by misfiling paperwork, allowing opposing council to file numerous extentions, and all the while keeping you in the dark. I asked for ONE extention and he said no way the Judge wont allow it. However when we got to court that morning the Judge chewed him out because he was "Purpously" not prepaired. The Judge said that we should have filed a continuation. If The powers to be werent there I would have knocked his Goofy, Skinny, worthless excuse for a human being out! Jeffrey, you are a Liar, a Fraud, a Cheat, and Scam artist. You make a living in this world by distorting the legal system, taking peoples hard earned money and conspiring with the other partys Attorney to make a simple cut and dry case into a disaster. People please listen to me if you hire a flat fee attorney its because your broke, deperate or both and he knows it. He will promise you everything you ask for only to not do a Single thing. My experience with the Harris Family Law Group was outstanding. Jeffery Harris was my attorney. He is very professional. He handled my case extremely well. My ex-husband sued me 3 years after our divorce was over, stating I committed fraud and concealed money from him. My ex never worked while we were married and only wants to live off of the hard work of others. Jeffery handled the case with grace and professionalism even though my ex perjured himself to try and win.

Jeffery prevailed and won my case. Thank you doesn't seem like enough to say to let him know how much I appreciate the work he did for me. Thank you Jeffery!
