If you are looking for a Social Security Disability attorney then look no further. Stevens & Sullivan are an awesome firm and really take the time to make sure you know you are a priority to them. They are extremely patient and understanding to your case and will keep you well informed of the process and what to expect. They were always available when I needed to discuss my case with them and made sure I fully understood what was going on. I also want to state that I had a lot of interaction with Nanette as well and she does an amazing job, she always went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them for your Social Security Disability needs.

I'm going to write this piece in all honesty and transparency for Veterans considering hiring this firm. At a rate of 20% of the total amount of backpay I received, this firm did absolutely nothing that a representative from a vet center or another "veteran advocacy" organization could have done.
While the firm will say..."We have no control over the length of time anything takes at the VA."...I can assure you there is absolutely no incentive on their part to move anything along and even if there was, I have learned that working with "outside, paid attorneys" DOES slow down your appeal as well as many other aspects of your claims.
Needless to say I don't trust some "Vet center advocates" who want to f#ck us by claiming they can get us 100% quickly if we "just drop our appeal.", but I also don't trust this law firm because they have declined a rating increase for me without even consulting me! Wow, I thought I made the decisions as to what would be accepted and what wouldn't.
But, I need remind myself, theses are attorneys who really give a sh!t less about veterans and only about the almighty $. Even in times of homelessness and extreme financial hardship, you would atleast think I would be consulted about an increase from 30-70%...but no.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Find someone who can help you free of charge and trust me there are plenty of decent veterans and veteran organizations with experience out there helping other vets...just be very careful and do your own research! This letter is my honest opinion of this firm which I have had representing me for approximately seven years.
