I talked to Randy Cordle for about 20 minutes he was very nice and helpful, he gave me some legal advice and didn't even charge me for his time. Thank you

Mr. Cordle's canned response to people's postings on the Wade's flap gives little confidence that he would listen to their concerns. He is an attorney and so is probably correct about the law. This though, he seems to fail to understand, is beside the point. I have been carded every single time I have purchased alcohol, without fail, and I am a decade older than Mr. Cordle. No one would ever mistake me for a 20-year-old. I assume that this "overkill" is because servers have been trained to always do this BY THEIR MANAGEMENT. His explanation that he has never been carded strains credulity, but in the unlikely event that this is true, it doesn't matter. To speak in a manner as he has of the server is out-of-bounds regardless; he doesn't seem to get the basic idea of treating people with dignity. Sure, it's silly that management might require this, and it's a shame that he had to get rained on to retrieve his ID. But a lawyer who complains about getting wet is probably not a lawyer I want on my side in a serious court situation.
The question now is whether Mr. Cordle will continue to keep doubling down on his position, or whether he will have the humility and just good horse sense to apologize, send her a decent tip, and realize that it isn't always about what's legal; sometimes, it's about what's RIGHT.
Mr. Cordle, ball's now in your court. Canned response or decency?

Disrespectful man. Mr Cordle believes he is above the law.
