Ellene's the best around at handling Social Security cases. We refer clients to her routinely and are always confident they'll be in good hands.

I have enjoyed working with Ellene as co-counsel on several matters. She and her staff are dedicated to getting the results her clients deserve. I highly recommend her.
Ellene handled a workers comp., case for me. I was very thankful to have found her & she was extremely caring & also very personable & professional at the same time. She also has excellent folks working with her & always ready to help do whatever you need. I have no I idea how I would have accomplished what Ellene did for me & the settlement she worked very hard to get for me, which allowed me to get further medical treatment, I was in desperate need for.

Ellene was wonderful to work with. She and everyone in her office went over and above. I hope I never need a Social Security attorney again. But if I do, she will be the only one I call

Just a couple of weeks before the hearing of my son's case, she backed out claiming he had no case. Switched to a different attorney & he was approved with no problem. Apparently, Welsh hadn't reviewed his record.

My disability claim took several years through the denialand appeal process. Ellene was diligent in proceeding with her strategy. I had no choice but to continue working part time during the process and Ellene successfully plead my case to the judge at the appeal and full disability was awarded with a back pay settlement included. She did not give up and I am glad I hired her. Sharon V.

Ms Welsh went above and beyond what a normal law firm would do. They stayed in touch with me and explained step by step would happen with my case. Ms Welsh staff is professional n they treat you like you’re settling for 10 million dollars. Ms Welsh is very knowledgeable with Worker Comp and SSD. Had I listened to friends and not obtained Ms Welsh services I would have lost 60% of the settlement on my own. You owe it to yourself to use an Attorney such as Ms Welsh cause she fights for you and has the experience in these matters. You only get one chance to get it right cause once it’s been settled, it’s over with and there will be no more money. I talked to big firms and they are not eager unless it’s over 1 million dollars .

She's been representing me for my case and so far has been an ok experience. My only issue has been proving to her my age should have NOTHING to do with me getting disability. CANCER has no age and all the help that I've gone through these last 2 1/2 years has been HELL!! If anyone has had Cancer can contest, it's not easy experience and each individual's case and experience is different. Since being diagnosed and treated has been the WORST experience in my life and my prayer is that my attorney understands that and represented me at 100% based on my Disability and not my AGE.

I became a client of Ellene's 3 years ago. When I first met Ellene she took a great deal of time to go over my denied paperwork from Social Security. She explained it was not a quick process and we would be looking at least another year to eighteen months before a hearing. She explained every step! When I had questions Becky and other office staff were always there to walk me through my questions and ease my mind and at times frustrations. Never along this journey did I feel ignored or abandoned. Ellene's staff got all my records together for my hearing and thanks to their hard work we got an immediate decision. It is very rare, I knew it was a good case going in, but Ellene made sure every "I" was dotted and every "T" was crossed. She was excellent in front of the judge and knows what she is doing. It was her 20 plus years experience that makes her so good! I can't thank Ellene and her staff enough for all their time, hard work and dedication in helping me with my case. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Social Security Disability Attorney.

I called and made a 4:00pm appointment that was 2 weeks away. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and said I would get a packet in the mail that I needed to fill out that details my issues. The packet was received within 2 days. I am writing this review less than 30 minutes after my appointment because I cannot believe what I just experienced. I got to the appointment 5 minutes early and the Mrs. Welsh's assistant greeted me by name as soon as I walked in. She is very nice and has such a pleasant demeanor about her. I thought to myself that I had made the right decision calling this attorney if her assistant is any indication of the kind of service they provide. I did not wait long and Mrs. Welsh came rushing out of her office, said my name, walked past me to her assistant's office, then returned toward me and asked me into her office. No handshake, barely any eye contact, and an extremely rushed demeanor. I came into her office and she asked me to have a seat and asked if I had my denial letter from Social Security. I handed her the denial letter and the packet that they had mailed me to fill out detailing my information on my past and present medical issues. She glanced at the SSI denial letter and then proceeded to say I was only 44 and my case would be very difficult. I was stunned. She did not even look the information packet that they had sent me in the mail. She asked a few questions about my limitations, which if she had taken the time to read the info packet they sent me, she would have known all my limitations in detail. She then said that another attorney may take my case. I asked her if she was turning down my case and she said that she was. I was dumbfounded. This attorney, who gets a very high rating on Google, just denied taking my case without even reading the packet THAT THEY SENT ME TO FILL OUT!! I will not go into my medical issues but it is safe to say I have had my dr telling me for 3 years I need to go on disability and I have finally deteriorated to the point I cannot even sit for more than 25 minutes at a time without laying down. She handed my papers back to me and said Good Luck and got up to see me out. I told her that if my case was difficult it surprises me she got paid at all. As she rushed me to the door, it became apparent to me why I was treated so unprofessionally by Mrs. Welsh. She closed the door behind me and locked the door. I guess she had somewhere more important to be than to actually take the time to get to know me and my case in more detail before just looking at my age and saying Good Luck. THEY COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT OVER THE PHONE AND SAVED US BOTH A HUGE HASSLE!!!!!

I want to be clear. It was not the fact you denied my case, it was the manner in which you did it. There was no way you could have made an extremely educated decision in how likely I am to win a case when you take less time to look over my case than the time it took me to fill out the info packet you sent me. From the moment you came out of your office and did not even focus your attention on me and no handshake, I felt as if I was an inconvenience to you and as if you had somewhere more important to be.

We sought out legal representation for our special needs son in our pursuit of social security benefits for him, after being denied on our own. We spoke with several law firms before selecting Ellene Welsh as the attorney that would help our family and guide us through what had thus far, been an arduous process.
From the person who answered the phone, to the paralegal that greeted us and answered our questions/concerns--to Ellene herself...our experience was a positive one. The level of professionalism, attention to detail and the service provided to our family was second to none. Even after our initial meeting with Ellene, as we walked out of the office, we were confident that we had selected well and made the right decision!
We were especially appreciative of Ellene's nurturing nature and warmth in her dealings with our son--explaining each step to him so he would not feel overwhelmed or anxiety-ridden. This was very comforting to--not only our son--but equally so for my husband and I, in that our son's feelings were considered and he treated with dignity and respect.
The process of seeking out social security is a long and admittedly stressful one. Ellene Welsh and her staff moved the process along in a timely manner, prepared us for court, and made themselves available to answer any questions along the way. I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone seeking out knowledgeable and professional representation with a "family business" attitude. We are grateful for all of the "Welsh Team's" efforts!

I give Attorney Welsh five stars, if you need a loyal attorney, she is the one, when she agreed to represent me for disability, she told me what will happen, when it would happen and how it would happen and she was correct, I couldn`t have asked for a better attorney!

Ms. Welsh successfully represented me through the process of securing my disability benefits several years ago. More importantly, she made the experience extremely less frustrating through periodic communication & clear explanation of how the system works. She's not the lawyer to represent you just by maintaining a file on you, she actually fights on your behalf to secure what you're owed. If in need of either a Disability or Worker's Comp attorney, you want Ms Welsh in YOUR corner fighting for you! Remember, I'm speaking from experience & I'm not a paid consultant. Good luck if you're facing either situation (disability/work comp) regardless of your decision on legal representation. R. Sisson

I had applied for my S.S. Disability twice and had been turned down both times. Ellen Welsh took my case and at once set me at ease. Ellen is kind, efficient, & professional! She won my case and even went the extra mile in helping me with repayment of my disability insurance! I cannot speak highly enough of Ellen and her office assistant. They truly have a heart to help those who cannot help themselves! Saying "Thank You" never seemed like enough to repay her for all she did for me!

I was denied Social Security Disability Benefits when I went out on Disability Retirement from the Government. I called and talked with an Attorney by the name of Ellene Welsh and she did not hesitate to take my case. I did not have to do anything, she took care of my paperwork, my doctor's reports, any documents that I needed to help build my case. She made me feel so comfortable while representing me, and when I went to the hearing with her by my side, I knew and felt that I would win my case due to the assurance of my Attorney. I want to Thank Attorney Ellene Welsh for her professionalism through the process. I highly recommend Attorney Ellene Welsh if you are fighting for your Disability or Workman's Compensation.
