I had an excellent outcome with Scott and his staff. He successfully got me an acceptable WC settlement, after some negotiation with the opposing side. The whole process takes awhile, but I am sure no case is the same.

I never had any doubt that I was injured on the job multiple times in the past 20 years, even though I had a pre-existing back surgery from 35 years prior. So this case was a bit complicated. But Silberman and staff guided me to a beneficial review by a neutral Orthopedic doctor and helped me access a reliable pain clinic. It took time, but I was fortunate I already had own occupation disability payments from a private insurance company. .

For everyday questions you have go through a Legal Assistant at the office. Christina was outstanding and always got back to me. I only wish I knew the expectations when I started; if Scott or his partner could have met with me up front I would have felt more comfortable with the day to day communications. Having Scott come in at the end was great, and he delivered when I did not like the first offer. But meeting him up front would have put a great deal more confidence into the case.

In summary, I would recommend Silberman & Lam without hesitation. Just be sure to talk about how the communication will work up front.

If I could give minus stars I would. This is the most pathetic excuse for a lawyer and law firm in California. Their office could not even complete their own retainer/contract .I was severely injured at work. 7 broken bones. I hired this firm because my employer refused to give me ANY medical treatment. Silberman and Lam did nothing for almost 4 years. Then the lawyers there started lying to me. I fired them filed complaints with CA. State Bar and will take legal action if necessary

I have never posted about a company before but after reading one of the reviews I thought I should.

I didn’t have a lawyer when I got hurt on a job site (construction - mostly the demolition side) and looked up lawyers near me. Honestly I initially chose Silberman and Lam because they were one of the first that popped up and were close. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. My case was probably VERY small but they didn’t hesitate to talk to me. After initially going in to the office, I talked to Sheryl on the phone then she came up (from Orange County) to meet with me 2 days later after already starting on my case. The settlement was more than I thought it would be AND they got all of my rehab, doc visits, follow-up etc. covered as well. Probably won’t be doing demo anymore but still in the construction biz! Don’t hesitate to go in or call and talk to someone. Were not to busy for me and I had a great experience with them. After first talking to Sheryl the anxiety about my issue already started to go away and it never came back.

Both my parents and I have used Silberman and Lam on our unfair cases. It was very tedious and tiring after trying to deal with the employer's worker's comp who do not want to be fair or be on the worker's side. We wanted fair doctors, fair treatment to heal, to be able to have a life without pain. Silberman and Lam was there in a flash to help with our situations, of which my situation could have been fixed easily if worker's comp was not trying to pin me for something false. My parents situation was more harsh as my father's back was ruined from a horrible fall at work.

I trust and recommend Silberman and Lam, as they are professional, honest, trustworthy, and helpful! I can't thank them enough for their service. Being a lawyer isn't easy. Neither is becoming a patient who wants to heal to still work.
