Great lawyer!

I had a horrible experience with this attorney in a divorce. I went to him for a second opinion and he scared me with tactics implying losing custody of my children if I didn't use his expertise, which was very limited. He never became deeply familiar with the case nor the extensive details and documents I provided. He loves to talk but not listen. Once I had paid the lump sum, he was pretty much disinterested. He was traveling the world a big part of the preparation time. He is rude and took a large amount of my money and provided very poor service in return. On the day of mediation, he spent a good deal of the day just staring into space and challenged my husband's attorney on NOTHING though I had provided a great deal of data. There was zero preparation. He was most concerned with what was being served for lunch and the lovely view from their Buckhead office. I had to fight for myself. His paralegal is sweet and capable but she can't do this on her own. I am very concerned that his cognitive abilities are not intact after seeing his lack of engagement on the mediation day and court day. Finally, he was late to court and then we discovered he didn't own or use a cell phone. My husband's attorney looked out for me more than Mr. Macie. As his final move, he sent me a malicious and insulting letter defending his poor performance and belittling me with hurtful statements. Do not get involved with this man in a divorce case.
