Working with this company started off great! Then, a year later , I had questions about the amount that the trustee was asking for because it was a different amount then what Ron Ellett had advised to me. I had to call numerous times due to the lady answering me and saying Ron was declining to call me back . Ming you , on our first conversation , he told me to submit documents and to CALL HIM BACK TO GO OVER IT! Finally, after talking with Ron only 2 times overall , there still was no clear answer . Instead , Ron accused me of harassing the employees when all I wanted my “lawyers” to do was help me understand the amounts. Ron then told me that I was “angry for having to pay the trustee”. That was not the case by far ! I am more then willing to give what I owe, I just wanted to understand the amounts. He over talked me and made me feel stupid on the call . How can I pay a company to represent me and they aren’t even strong enough to explain things to me without getting frustrated. Isn’t that what the lawyer is there for ? Communicate and help the client understand the case? They made sure to work with me in the beginning and were very prompt when it came down to me giving them my money to represent me, though! I will never use them for anything else and I will be sure to not refer them to anyone as well ! I feel that Ron is very rude and unprofessional ! This was overall a terrible experience and I regret using them. I wish Helen was still there because she was amazing just as a human being and communicated very well. Now, I can see why she left the company!

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really was not up to rehashing my nightmare experience with this law group, but my current attorney encouraged me to do so to help other people who might have the same costly experience.
I retained this law group to assist me in converting a Chapter 7 to a Chapter 13 last summer, and yes I'm still dealing with the aftermath of this firm's actions. I met with Ronald Ellett's associate for a consultation and she advised me to convert my case to a Chapter 13 and we could work on evicting and sueing the other persons who held a joint deed on my property which had a large amount of equity involved. As most financial hardships involve some bad decisions and emotional upheaval, I believe this firm would help me sort out the issues and best represent me. In other words, I believed they would do what they said they would do.
The case was converted and I had to start paying biweekly payments to an automated company until my wage garnishment was in place and I dreaded having my employer involved in my personal finances. After a month, the HR department kept bringing me a copy of court ordered documents "amending" my garnishment orders. Confused and embarrassed about these amendments and the fact that I had automated payment AND garnishments being taken out of my checks, I called the law office and emailed them but received no response. I finally called the bankruptcy court to get answers and found out that Ronald Ellett's group sent the garnishment request to the wrong trustee and the garnishments had not credited my account and would eventually be returned to me. Now what ???? I needed my lawyer to help me but had been receiving no response and I was very frustrated.
It took a couple days but I finally had my phone call answered and the woman was rude and didn't know what was going on with my case. I insisted I speak with an attorney and she put Mr. Ellett on the phone. He also did not know the answers to my questions including what the status of the eviction/lawsuit on the joint tenant. The conversation was tense and I'm sure he was frustrated and embarrassed that he didn't know the answers, but he should not have said "I have another phone call" and hung up on me. They would not answer the phone after that. I figured I would talk to him at the 341 creditors hearing the next week, but still not happy with how I was treated.
Mr. Ellett sent one of his associates to the creditor's hearing and then afterward led me outside to tell me they no longer represented me. What???!!!!! The only thing I could conclude was I must have hurt his ego and he was in over his head with the details and promises of my case. Come to find out from other attorneys my perception was accurate.
I had to request a hearing with the judge to explain my situation and she advised my to go to the self help center for assistance. So now 8 months later I have to hire a new attorney ( and not one for $500 down ) and start the process all over again. At least I know this time that my lawyer will be able to handle the complex situation and that my employee never needed to be involved or my wages garnished !!!
This is the gist of the case. I warn you that bankruptcy cannot be taken lightly. In a chapter 13 the court has control of your finances for 5 years. Pay more and pick someone who is competent and truly has your best interest in mind or you will be living a nightmare.

I implore you to utilize this law office if you need bankruptcy help. It will be ok, it happens to the best of us, they can help. Thank you for helping me.

I called to make an appointment based on the reviews I had read on this law firm I asked all the questions I thought I needed to how long the initial consultation would take I scheduled according to my schedule when I would have enough time to arrive even left an extra 30 minutes because she told me it would be 30 minutes for the consultation when I arrived I was placed into a room and asked to fill out information that I was told would be emailed to me the night before but never was I filled out the information 37 minutes later I went back to the desk and said is anybody going to come talk to me a girl came in when over the information I have properly filled out and left the room telling me the attorney would be in 30 minutes later I packed up my stuff and walked out the door because over an hour sitting in a room and I never spoke to an attorney I came with all the paperwork prepared that I needed and also what's prepared to pay 100% of the fees on the spot. I wasted 36 minutes driving there an hour in their office and another 36 minutes driving home. And as I was leaving and asked if I would like to reschedule. My schedule and my time was definitely not respected
