When I was looking for an attorney to represent me in family court I got to admit I was a bit nervous and anxious only because I knew my case wasn't going to be easy, so I knew I had to get someone that was empathetic, showed interest in my case, someone who was knowledgeable, passionate, but still aggressive when needed to be and that was exactly what I found with Wendy. When I talked to Wendy and let her know my situation, though she didn't promise the outcome I was looking for would be exact, she did say she would do her very best to get me what I wanted and that's what she did. At the end of my trial I almost got exactly what I had asked for but with my case just about done I only had one more hearing left then something unexpectedly happened that would change the whole outcome of things. Before we can reach the hearing the mother of my children passed away unexpectedly, this turned mine and my children's whole world upside down as I never imagined this happening like it did, it was an unexpected circumstance that changed the status of my case and the life of me and my children. Despite some differences me and the mother of my children had this was not the outcome I wanted and was in shock and disbelief, I was completely torn apart with the whole situation. Wendy took time to call me as soon as she found out to give me her condolences and showed the utmost care and support as well as her staff. With much compassion and understanding they helped me through the sudden changes and got me through my entire case. Although I wish things could have ended differently and the mother of my children was still here, Wendy and her staff's hard work will not go unnoticed. Waste of money. Is terrible at representing people. Did more damage to my case than helped and her fees are far from modest. I incurred extra fees due to her own scheduling issues and she was also late to both of my court proceedings. Better off representing yourself.

I first used Google to find a family lawyer and the Hernandez Family Law firm came up. I met with Wendy for an initial consultation and hired the firm after the interview (a lot of questions on their experience). I was hoping all my items could be settled without a trial but the other side was having none of that. The advice and service that was received was in my opinion second to none. Their responses to questions were answered in a timely manner. The time spent on my case was reasonable for what was needed, (not trying to add time just for billing reasons). During trial Wendy was straight to the point in her questions on both sides and did not back down on the hard questions that needed to be asked. Her advice was sound, performance was strong, not flawed and in the end the court ruled in a fair settlement for my side. I would absolutely recommend the firm and her services to anyone needing a family attorney. If in the future if I need more help on my case I will not hesitate to contact her firm. I highly recommend her firm to anyone needing help in any family matters. In my opinion you will not be disappointed with her legal advice and representation.

Wendy is way too busy to any give you a call back. I had spent a total of $3000 with them to set up a custody battle and they accomplished nothing. Elaine will never get back to you either even after you have called and left messages numerous of times. Wendy treats you like you're nothing. I changed my lawyer and they didn't even notice till a month later. Elaine called me to see if I was going to deposit another $4500 into their account and I said I went with another attorney. Elaine didn't even ask me like why I switched or any questions. They knew they were too busy and just hung up on me. Act like your best friend till you don't give them what they want. Don't go here. Worst money ever spent.

I recently met with this firm’s founding attorney. I had to share this review, since I had such a wonderful experience with all the staff, especially Wendy Hernandez. Setting the appointment with the attorney was simple and timely. The office is conveniently located in central Phoenix and parking was simple. As I arrived early for the meeting, I found the reception staff very considerate of my needs. I am planning to be a single mother by choice, so I needed to discuss legal issues surrounding parental rights. The element I appreciated most about the meeting is that Ms. Hernandez never seemed to be in a rush and listened to my concerns contently.
