Filled out their online form to be contacted, on two separate occasions, months apart. I am still waiting to be contacted back on either contact. I don’t expect a reply at this point, just glad I saw their lack of service before I hired them.

With all that I didn't understand or was concerned about, I received the upmost professional service and highly recommend Slepian Law.
Nice people. They make it sound like I might finally get my disability... Which is a far cry from what the other attorneys I've spoken to have said.

Eric Slepian is an excellent disability attorney who has a unique set of talents and skills. He is very well versed in social security disability matters, has professional demeanor in handling hearings before the SSA while at the same time being a compassionate, kind and courteous person who will fight tooth and nail for you. He will be honest and straightforward in letting you know when something is worth fighting and will also let you know when it's not. I trust this man and couldn't have wanted for a better attorney. My claim was cumbersome as I deal with disabling conditions that are not run of the mill and not well understood. I was very blessed to have him represent me and win my claim. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend him to anyone who's in need of his services.

I was turned down two weeks before hearing by another law office, they said I wasn't sick enough. Told the Judge the attorney dropped out, he said it was in my best interest to find attorney. Explain to Slepian Smith Law my situation. It states every case is different. The law is in black in white. They took my case. The next hearing date Judge looked at me and it saddens to hear I was making up my illness. I had a life or death emergency if I didn't get surgery done. Even while in hospital still was denied. Had to appeal case over a six-seven year period. I know it wasn't the law office. It starts with the Judge and the others involved in decision making because their not living in your shoes honestly. If Brian, my doctor's, & specialist's did not keep going Above and Beyond I would still be trying to prove my disability.

Told me a few years ago that they would represent me but never sent the papers in to SSA. When I was denied I asked why was told I should have had an attorney. When I said I did they informed me that they received no notice. So I cal Slepian got the run around til I finally spoke with a partner amd was told that they changed their minds because they didnt think my cancer was a serious disability. Now have to go through it all over again.

From the first phone call I made to Slepian Smith, all the way through my APPROVED disability hearing, I received the upmost professional and caring attitude from every single person working on my case! Every time I called it was so great that whomever answered the phone, could almost always help with what I was calling about, and the few times they couldn't I would receive a call back within an hour by someone who could. The hearing prep was great I felt very ready to answer any question the judge asked and their preparation of my records were done so well my hearing was 15 minutes long with a favorable decision given to me that day. I would recommend them to anyone, that have proper evidence, to support a disability claim.

Tye Smith is the one of the best human beings I have ever met. He will fight for you like you are family. His demeanor and delivery of evidence to the judge in my hearing was unparalleled to anything I have ever seen except for TV and movie courtroom dramas. He is the best attorney period. I don't know what else I can say. The entire staff was top to bottom professional and courteous, and genuinely caring while helping me and my family through the process. The whole team at Slepian-Smith was always a step ahead when it came to handling, preparing and eventually winning my case. Anytime I needed to talk with someone or needed questions answered they followed through with well-informed phone conversations and emails which helped tremendously while navigating through the anxious process of waiting, worrying and wondering. Anyone considering representation by this firm would be in extremely good hands.

Extremely poor service. Recommended by my accountant, called them 2 times while working overseas. During the first phone call was told the attorney I was supposed to speak with was not available and he would write to me in 24 hours. Then nothing, called again, and the attorney still did not take my call, was promised again a response in 24 hours, then used their online chat, and again no response. If you have a serious claim that requires conscientious attention, for sure choose a different law firm.

If I could, give zero star's. Then I most certainly would. I'm not here, to deter anyone. From utilizing Slepian Law. Yet for me my experience... Was anything short of exemplary. The Lawyer Eric came across as patronizing. I could tell from his tone. That he was convinced that: There was nothing, wrong with me. I think that: He; just took me, on just Because. Over the past few month's. I was supposed to" communicate" with Jodi. Her behind was never available. I grew tired of,playing phone tag. Due to the legals team. Lack of involvement, regarding my case. I received a condescending voicemail from "Jessica". Due to my decision. To discontinue receiving legal representation. Not to mention the fact that: I was billed $13 and some change. If I had $13 on me. Then there'd have been no need. For me to see out representation. In the first place. Had I still been "represented". I'm sure the $13 and change. Would be obsolete

Wonderful law firm. If you work with the right people. I worked with three ladies who made me feel most welcome. I also worked with three ladies who acted like they were annoyed when I called or they had to call me. I was told I needed to get medical records in a certain amount of time, or pay the cost of the firm getting them. I told them I was more than happy to get the records. I went to my doctors and hospitals, and worked to get them in the time allotted. I gave the person I was working with limited time access to my medical portal as that particular doctor didn't print records. I was charged anyway. I paid it, but was not happy to do it. On the day of court, I started to receive calls asking where I was. When I asked why they were calling, I was told I received a letter stating I needed to be at the office early for a pre-trial conference. I never got it. I read & kept everything I received from them. So I break laws to get there. While I was rushing to the office, Tye Smith, who was my lawyer, called and began to aggressively question me about the case. I almost hung up on him, but Bless The Maker, I hit a dead zone and the call disconnected. This gave me enough time to cool off before he called again. Once I arrived, I had a little humor as they were literally waiting for me out front. At trial, Tye proved why Slepian Law is successful. He did apologize for his prior behavior because he wanted to make sure I knew what I might be facing in court. I ended up winning. All due to Tye and the (selected) gang working hard for me, But I'm glad my journey is over with this firm. I thank Tye for his work, especially for prepping me for court in such a short amount of time, and the three ladies who were there for me. They listened, calmed me down, and reassured me when I was tense and worried about everything before court. The only disconcerting things that threw me for a loop was; the disappearing documents (l assume) that I brought in, I never saw anyone I was working with, they were always out or with other clients whenever I visited the office, the switch of people you work with without notice, and the rudeness (at least to me) of three women there. Especially you TW & CV. Proceed with care. If you have a good case, follow their directions and go to your doctors as needed, you're home free. Make sure you get EVERYTHING your doctor(s) give you & what Slepian Law tells you in writing. They're really good at giving you docs, but make sure you dot the i's, cross the t's, and ALL spelling is correct. If anything changes, ask for that change in writing. And then, if possible, go in person to pick up any new docs. UPDATE: I thank management for their kind response. I'll come back with this. If I treated my customers the way some of your employees did me, I'd be fired on the spot. Two of your employees raised their voice at me when I made a callback requested by the office. Excuse me for not having the groveling respect they wanted. Raising their voices at me was uncalled for. Despite how they felt, I WAS the customer. I paid the fee; BOTH of them, and deserved more respect than I got from those employees. So if enabling rude behavior in your employees is your specialty besides SSI law, than you're doubly good at what you do.
