Any duenas acted like she was very concerned about what was going on got everybody there super early to go over and get everybody amped up and the second she got into court she completely seized up and every time my dad went and brought up any concerns he had she told him to shut up and she ultimately screwed him in the end

Absolutely horrible. They’ll take your money and listen to your concerns acting very interested then choke the second you get to court. I paid these people thousands of dollars only to get 2 extra days with my daughter and end up paying all of the debt my ex wife racked up and an ungodly amount of money in child support. If you’re a guy and you need an attorney, run as fast as you can away from these people. They will do absolutely nothing for you but will help your ex. I was doing better fighting this on my own. I was set up by a women in marriage only to be set up again by a women who was supposed to be my attorney

I hired Dori several years ago going through the difficult process of filing for a divorce with two young children. Initially what I loved about Dori was her tenacity and no BS approach to traditional gender roles in raising children. From my perspective, that was a good thing being a father who genuinely wanted nothing out of the divorce but 50% of the time with my kids (Frankly, I would WANT 100%, but for my kids' sake 50% with each was ideal). At the end of the day, she advised me that I was essentially throwing away the farm by conceding 100% of the proceeds from a home sale and agreeing to settle for much more in child support than a judge would ever order. While likely true, that said, I got what I wanted out of my divorce, and that was time with my kids.
Fast forward several years and issues remain and/or resurface from the divorce. I was ill-advised coming out of the terms of the divorce decree, and this occurred many times--resulting in an arrearage in child support that absolutely blew my mind. All I tried doing from day one was the right thing for my kids. I now find myself in a situation where I was charged nearly $700 to send a simple letter to my ex-wife regarding First Right of Refusal and a couple of other issues. The MOST shocking part of this, is that the letter sent was essentially copy/pasted from an email I wrote that was added to legal letterhead. That seems absurd to charge that much to copy and paste.
Fast forward even a few months further and as I'm asking about different charges on my invoice (many nickel and dime items, many overexaggerated time commitments...), and the most appalling thing occurs. I send an email and call with no response on a Thursday or Friday. The weekend comes and I can't sleep because of the issues. Monday morning I get up around 2am because of the stress from the situation, and I make a large payment to Dori and send an email about a) the payment and b) the case in general. Again, no response. Then, I check the mail.... voila! Dori had filed a motion to withdraw as my attorney without any discussion, without any email, nada.
When I reached out saying "No wonder you've been MIA" I was given a ridiculously money-centric response, essentially saying "Give me your credit card info for automatic payments and I'll represent you." Very professional. Didn't address my concerns about items I was concerned with on the billing. Didn't address the case AT ALL, and had the audacity to ask for more money.
Possibly the worst part, or the most funny part, is that I then received an invoice a few weeks later that amounted to around $500 TO WITHDRAW AS MY ATTORNEY....
I have referred several good people dealing with divorces or custody cases to Dori because she did what I wanted in my divorce: I paid her a boatload of money to get 50% custody of my kids. The financial part didn't matter... I was screwed financially in the divorce BUT I got my kids. That's all that mattered. The recent issues, however, shed light on the fact that she is what most people fear of in attorneys... sharks after your money.
