The minute you endorsed "the" check , Steven became your client. As your client he was entitled to the best and most intense defense from you, his attorney. Where was that defense? Even the judge spoke up and objected as you sat there half asleep. You failed to even pretend to present a case. You never consulted with your client before or after the hearings, you did however, consult with the plaintiffs before the hearing, downstairs in the Courthouse while your client sat upstairs waiting for you to appear. You were to meet with him at 8:30AM not the Plaintiff!! Steven was never advised of what you were presenting let alone what you are putting in front of him to testify to at a hearing he didn't know was going to happen because a week prior via the email you said "the judge is going to rule against him" You failed to represent your client. Even a murderer is entitled to a credible defense.
If, as you have implied, that you spent "extensive" time researching this case, you would have seen the fraud, the lies and the cover up, by the Plaintiffs. You were provided with years of investigative work that you never gave a minutes worth of your precious time. The mistakes in your pleadings were unexcusable. Something as Elementary as who endorsed the promissory note you couldn't get white in your pleading and this was supposed to be the Crux of your argument.
All Steven ever wanted and still wants, is to live his life. He worked for everything he "had" starting with a newspaper route, then moving up to working in a Clubhouse, gas station etc., until he got out of school. Then, along comes a ruthless, dastardly group of low life, who never had an honest job, and took everything he worked for, was given him and the most precious of all, family treasures from his deceased Grandmother and Aunt: His legacy! There was no reason to take his belongings other that sheer hatefulness toward a man they never met. Oh, but that wasn't enough, they are still harassing him, throwing around false accusations, recording fraud in the land records, fraudulent security instrument Etc etc etc. refusing to let him get on with his life, and worst of all, in our opinion, you are helping them to continue this harassment and cover up! We were taught to treat people the way we want to be treated! Tell us Peter, how do we treat you?
