We used them years ago and found the female attorney, Edwards, to be very untrustworthy in the handling of our case and our personal information. Very disappointing indeed.

We cannot say enough about the masterful and professional legal services that Rich Gilman performed for us regarding our bankruptcy! His excellent staff with Ebony and Colette make sure that you are in the best of hands with this highly skilled team! Everything that we had planned with Rich's strategy came to fruition succeeding with flying colors! He really did pull a rabbit out of the hat concerning our situation as it involved some very difficult obstacles which had to be overcome. Rich worked so diligently and put in all of the hard work that was needed involving our case. He truly deserves the accolades for a job extremely well done. Rich patiently provided the understanding and expert guidance that was necessary in order to navigate through the many roadblocks on the tough journey that we went on through the bankruptcy process and that produced a fantastically good result! We owe a debt of gratitude and many thanks to Rich for an amazing job and result! Without hesitation we give Rich and his staff the highest recommendation for the first class service that they provide. Your sleepless nights will quickly come to an end when you work with the firm of Gilman and Edwards!

Ethical, honest, compassionate. These are a few words that describe Mr. Gilman. His advice was always in the interest of his client, not his paycheck. It was fortunate for me to be his client.

Richard Gillman was the lawyer that I hired for my Bankruptcy case. He is very rude and didnt like to explain a lot of things to you about Bankruptcy. He doesnt like spending his time talking to you about your case.He never explained to me in the beginning what's gonna happen to my car after I returned it and after discharged. So after I was discharged I asked what's gonna happen to the car, is it possible to redeem, is it legal for the lender to send me a letter of intend to sale, and he told me this questions is out of bankruptcy case and told me to come in again to pay separate fees. I had to ask these questions to a law firm in Texas and they told me to ask these questions to my Bankruptcy case lawyer because it is his jobs to explain these things to his clients. I always have arguments with him on the phone for not like to explaining things properly to me. If you cant have answers to your questions, dont even bother hiring a Bankruptcy case lawyer. Save your money and dont pay the big fee and just do your Bankruptcy case yourself. Richard Gillman is very rude and angry all the time. Very unproffessional. Dont bother hiring him. Go to another Professional law firm .

Overall great experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming. All calls were promptly returned. The firm did what was promised. I rescheduled for a follow up visit years later and received the same level of customer service. The lawyer explained the technical terms in understandable language. Highly recommend!

Attorneys Richard Gilman & Kasey Edwards. Paralegals: Ms. Collette Hamilton and Ms. Ebony Livingston. Upon entering the law firm of Gilman & Edwards, I was met with a smile and pleasant greeting, by Ms. Collette, as, gave me the paperwork to read and sign prior to meeting with Attorney Kasey Edwards. As I'm always in prayer, on this day in meeting with her, I was praying that my case would be accepted. It was praise God!!! She was very astute and positive. I was slightly nervous, but, stayed focused on what was being asked. She then informed me that I'd be filing for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy case. In the days to come, I was sent documents to fill out, sign and return. In addition, I had to present personal documents to be forwarded to the firm. It was grueling, but, I got it accomplished! Throughout the remaining two months, I would receive e-mails to keep me updated. Accordingly, I had to complete two financial courses prior to officially filing. I would still send e-mails and make telephone calls to Collette and Ebony to keep myself abreast of this process. Each time, they were patient and poised with me. I didn't get the opportunity to meet Ebony, however, we communicated through e-mails and telephone calls. She, to, was very professional, and, helped me not to worry. I attended the required meeting on April 30, 2019, where I met with Attorney Richard Gilman. He was very honest and a great steward in coaching me on what was about to take place in this meeting. The meeting with the Trustee went well, as he vehemently assisted me, as I answered the questions. He informed me that we just have to wait out the 60 days, and, if we don't hear any appeals from the Creditors, I should be fine. It all came to fruition!!! As of Monday, July 8, 2019, my bankruptcy case was officially discharged! Praise God!!! The team provided guidance, counsel, as well as education that I deserved. This indeed was a positive experience!!! Thank you guys so much, and, blessings!!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY!!!! I can't speak for Ms. Edwards, but I know Mr. Gilman is not worth a quarter if you have him .23 cents. In my case over $1,500 to assist me with filing bankruptcy. When I initially met with Mr. Gilman I was very transparent and honest about my financial background and ignorance to the process. At the time my credit score was barely 400. I wanted to file bankruptcy in order to be in my own home. During the course of a year I did not speak to this man ONCE. Only the secretary. Not one document was filed on my behalf. Not one. Creditors were ignored by the office when I gave the information. Meanwhile, I was advised because 85% of my debt was due to student loans and a very small tax lien, bankruptcy wasn't an option. Something I could've been told when I pulled my credit report for the law firm. Nevertheless, I begin making payments on my student loan for a solid year, made arrangements for my tax lien and viola!!! 13 months later my score is 625. After finally speaking with Mr. Gilman and asking for a refund, he became indignant, attempted to belittle me, and refused. The only reason I'm not fighting for my money is because had it not been for his negligence, I wouldn't have started the process to better myself and credit on my own. If I would've filed bankruptcy, my credit would have been damaged for 2 more years and the process delayed. So I want to thank Gilman and Edwards for being worthless.
