I was very impressed by how Mr. Hennessy handled my case. He is extremely intelligent with an extensive knowledge of the Law. His team, Margaret and Steve were amazing at filing things in a timely matter and just extremely pleasant to work with. Update: he might have had his license removed in FL! look at Avvo Tom is just like a large handful of attorney's in the Fairfax area, since he has to pay for an office near the court and his two assistants, he has to take on an excess amount of clients. You get what you pay for, and it will be clear to you that he knows nothing about your case, but he will pretend to care about you by asking how you are feeling and so forth. Once you pay him, you will find out just how unprofessional and messy his little firm truly is. You will have to hand hold and chase him down to ensure that he doesn't screw up your case by not filing something extremely important or not responding to emails that take around 5 minutes to type. He will be careful not to put any agreements between you and him in writing, and if you have ever dealt with any other lawyers in the area, you know that this is deemed unprofessional and unethical. His true colors will come out when you call him on his oversights and he will flat out lie to you on a daily basis by telling you something will be filed the next day and so forth. This particular attorney is a danger to you and your family, he simply takes on too many clients, while his $150 hour fee is enticing, he will let you know that he has a ton of cases and briefings and didn't have time to send a simple email to the other side. Stay away from this guy and don't buy that nice guy act!

I was referred to Tom Hennessy from the Women's Center in Vienna, Virginia.
My case is now WORSE than it was BEFORE hiring him.
If you want to pay an attorney to make your case WORSE, then this is your guy.
This guy is horrible.
He does not return emails or phone calls promptly. He does not file things promptly. He blames you, the client, for his incompetence as an attorney.
His cheap price seems reasonable, but in the end, the money you'll have to invest in another attorney, to clean up the mess this man will make, just isn't worth it.
I invested thousands of dollars into a train wreck of an attorney.
A dry cleaner could do a better job with your case.
Avoid him at all costs.
