STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER!!!! My family and I were involved in a car accident and turned to Jim Swiger for assistance. Mr. Swiger and his staff clearly have more important priorities on their plate than their clients! Unreturned phone calls and unprofessional legal staff is really an understatement when describing this firm's legal practices. It took their legal assistant almost a whole week just to fax over a letter to an MRI imaging facility. Mr. Swiger and his staff have many internal communication issues that need to be addressed before they take on any more clients. Meanwhile, my fiancee is in unbearable pain, possibly needing knee surgery. This lawyer is more interested in flashing the gun he carries on his waist, than he is taking care of his client's needs. The only remotely kind gesture he made was texting a surgeon he has worked with for many years to do "us" a "favor" by seeing us for an evaluation - even though the surgeon supposedly "doesn't treat car accident cases." Mr. Swiger then suggested that my family and I did not "look like the type to afford" the kind of care this surgeon offers. Seriously, outright ridiculous. Thank God this lawyer does not charge by the hour, otherwise we'd be billed for hours on end for time he spent talking about himself, his political and military views, and did I mention himself? Never again, never ever again. If you want good lawyering, stay away, far away from this place. I immediately found a phenomenal lawyer to handle my family's needs during this very difficult time. NO ONE deserves to be treated this way, especially in a time of need.
