Do not use these people to settle your debts. They will lie to you. They don’t return phone calls. They don’t do the things they say they are going to do. 1/2 way thru my program I went from paying $1000 a month to $1500 to settle everything sooner and making sure everything is paid off. & get my credit cleaned up sooner. Even tho I put this extra money in, my program still lasted the same time period and 2 month B4 the end of my program they have not even settle one $6000 account.. so I have paid all this extra money and it did nothing to help me I still have 1 large account that has. It been paid. For 6 months I have asked them to settle this last account With the plans of me paying it off I. Full in one lump sum so the credited will agree to a lower amount. Every time I finally wait on hold for an hour and get someone to answer they say they will take care of this. Apologies that it wasn’t taken care of but ones again nothing is fine. Ones they get all there money you become nothing to them and they don’t help you. They also don’t tell you that you will more than likely have to pay taxes like income on the write off amount on most of your accounts. So the savings they are telling you that you will get is no where near what it actually will be. IRS will hound you for this money so now you will owe someone else. Don’t go thru this program you are just throwing your money away. Wait until each bill goes to collections and agree to a reduced settlement with each collector. Even if you have to go to court they will give you a lower amount to let you pay it off. Usually half. Do this yourself!!!

DON'T use these people!!!. If you wind up with judgements against you from creditors they were contracted to negotiate with (like my sister did) you'll wind up paying both those creditors AND the money you said you'd pay Boulder...so you'll wind up paying the same or more. THERE'S NOTHING YOU'LL BE able TO DO ABOUT IT. THESE PEOPLE ARE A RIPOFF.

Horrible service. They don't answer questions, keep you apprised of the status of various accounts unless they are making payments on it. I had a judgment successfully filed against me, even though they were aware of it well ahead of time and did nothing about it. They have not gotten back to me, and it's been 2 months. I could go on and on and on, but bottom line: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO MINUS, TOTAL BS!!!!! PLEASE RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I JUST CANCELLED, DONT BE FOOLED GO ELSEWHERE OR FILE BANKRUPTCY BUT DONT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS!!!!

Stay away from this company. They prey on desperate individuals like myself at the time. I gave them more in total payments in the form of fees than the original amount I owed one of my creditors. Not only was my credit ruined by them, they only settled one of my 5 accounts and took almost 2 years to do so. I have settled 3 accounts on my own and saved myself thousands of dollars. Like I said, they settled one of my accounts and I did the math, I actually paid out more to them than the original credit card balance and they took 2 years to settle the one account. All of their employees should be ashamed of themselves knowing they are not helping people get out of debt but actually ruining people's credit and building up more debt by charging such ridiculous fees.

They do their job at a costly price. This is something that you could also do yourself for free. I recommend staying away from them and Financial Solutions.

Do not fall for this. I have been in the program for two years and paid over 10 000.00 in the program. Boulder only paid off one account for 400.00 dollars. What so funnny they are asking for money.

Boulder Legal Group is a Total Scam. They never tell you about their fees when you sign up. All the money you paying them every month goes toward their ridiculous fees and nothing is left to settle your accounts. Your credit will be ruined and you will end up in lawsuits with collection agencies. When you fax them the lawsuits documents, they tell you to send more money. I payed them $6000 and only got $950 back in refund when I cancel my account with them. They not trying to help you but profit of you. Stay Away from this company.

I have been with Boulder Legal Group now for approximately three years. Up until August of this year, I felt they did a good job in negotiating outstanding balances with my creditors.
However, in August, I had come into some money through a medical settlement and called Boulder to attempt to get a payoff amount and start the proceedings to pay-off what remaining creditors I had.
To make a long story short, I have contacted them 6 times now and though I have received three separate payoff paperwork from them, they are so inept that the debit which was arranged has still not gone through.
Though I have called them numerous times this action seemingly cannot get done. Another frustrating Factor is that you never speak to the same person again oh, you never get anyone's personal phone extension, and I tonight get someone to assist me with this issue.

Current client with Boulder. This company is absolutely horrible. They screwed up all my accounts I've been sued twice when I was ready to pay off the debt they drag their feet and I ended up getting sued. They have no customer service. They are full of lies. They do nothing but make matters worse. This is not a debt consolidation company that you want to deal with. I have decided I am taking the matters into my own hands because these guys are absolutely useless. Do not give them your money they are not worth a penny.

I have been working with Boulder now for about 2.5 yrs. They Did tell me exactly how much of my money would be used for negotiating each and every month... They informed me on exactly what their fees were and when their fees would be taken out of my account. They do not handle the money I pay into my acct. They cannot take any money out of my acct that I do not agree to. A lawyer came to my house and we signed all of the paperwork in my dining room with this lawyer reading every document with me. They have handled every situation that has come up from creditors, including 4 court legal actions. They negotiated them for me and took care of everything. They warned me that my credit rating was going to take a plunge because creditors were going to put all of these accts into collections. We knew this ahead of time. They are a VERY professional and up-front organization and I do not understand why others that give such bad ratings, did not have the same service which I have had and am having.

If you like paying someone else for a bill, only to have your check garnished or your bank account frozen because that someone else didn't do what you hired them to do, then yeah Boulder is your group.

Boulder Legal Group does not do their job. I have been trying to get a hold of someone that can help me for almost 2 months. Every time I call, I get that someone will call you back. They constantly say that they will "reach out" to the person, but nothing happens. Every time you speak to the customer service (that's a big joke) rep, they tell you something different from what the last person told you. They won't connect you to a manager, to try to get something done. If you use them, you are just throwing away your money that you could be using to get out of debt.

First off I would like to address the negative reviews. Most of them are related to people's credit being destroyed and getting sued and such. If you go into a debt renegotiation process and don't think your credit will be impacted then you do not understand the process in the first place. Boulder was very up front when we had the same questions regarding what will happen to our credit during this process and they answered these questions completely honestly. There was no smoke and mirrors they told us right away that our credit report would be severely impacted. The key is that we wouldn't have our debt hanging around our necks and strangling us anymore. The money we pay doesn't even go to them. It is deposited in a global account that can be used by them to pay the settlements they negotiate. They do not benefit from interest or anything on this account. The payments include an estimated amount that they will use to create settlements for the next 3 years and a bit toward their overall fees which are not much considering the work they do. Have we received letters from lawyers representing the owners of the debt we are renegotiating threatening a lawsuit if we didn't pay them right away, sure we have. We turn them directly over to Boulder and they use that as part of the negotiations. Target had nearly 3 different firms contact us with threats and Boulder still negotiated a settlement and paid them off and we received notice of that. I have never had to go to court. They set us up a Google voice number to change the contact info for all of the accounts we let them handle so that they can't get a hold of us. If they do find out our phone numbers and call us we send them a sheet of the contact they made and tell the debtor that we are represented by them and it goes away. I haven't received a call for over 10 months looking for money from me. We have a conference call with them that they initiate quarterly or monthly if we need more frequent updates and they tell us where they are at with the process. Any time we have called them with questions they have called us right back. I don't understand why people say they scam them. Apparently they don't listen to the people who explained to them what they were going to do in the first place or they had this magic view that if you get a credit company to charge off your debt with a smaller amount than what was owed that they won't impact your credit report. Bankruptcy takes a 7 year toll on your credit no matter what you do. My credit score has already gone UP since accounts were paid off. Plus, you can put a personal statement on your credit report indicating that you went through a debt renegotiation. And with the advent of credit scoring, credit reports are rarely reviewed as a whole. Just a credit score. So if mine is already going up after dropping way down then how can you say that you would be in a worse position after the process is completed then you were when you started? I think the negative reviews are a result of people who love to complain about anything and who were uneducated about the process. I have nothing but success and good things to say about Boulder. Thank you for helping us with this process.

I hope you have the chance to read this, as I did not. DO NOT USE THE GROUP! They take your money; big money, and watch your credit go down the drain. They don't care. They use this business to hold you off as long as they can, taking 600 bucks a month until you finally figure out, this is a huge scam. By that time, you'll lose around 5 to 6 thousand bucks, you can never get back. This is biggest scam I have gotten into, and now I'm broke and humiliated. Please tell EVERYONE you know about this group! We've got to stop them!

Complete scammers. You will pay more in fees than what's accumulated to help pay off your credit cards. You are better off directly contacting your creditors than going through this. I am warning people DO NOT SIGN UP WITH BOULDER LEGAL GROUP OR THEIR SCUMMY THIRD PARTY PARTNERS WHO ARE ALSO CROOKS GLOBAL CLIENT SOLUTIONS. Your credit score will be destroyed like it was with mines. Now I won't be able to get a loan, or buy a house for a very long time. I still question how these devils are still in business smh.

There is a long version of this, but I'll spare details with a summary...
What they promise to do is a twisted sales pitch to get you to sign a contract. After that they proceed to take 6 to 1 cut of your payment to pay off your debt, meanwhile filling you full of lies... After doing absolutely nothing for me, I cancelled service and the are refunding me $1000 out of the $7000 I have paid. Keep in mind, they didn't settle one card... STAY AWAY! THIS IS A SCAM!
I now need to sue them, which I don't have time to do and completely sucks...
