I hired Jim LaSalle to assist me in court and to write a letter. After 2 months of nothing, I offered to draft the letter, but he said he would write it himself. He never did.
Jim was pretty non-responsive by the 3rd month so I reminded him of court 2 days prior. I had no idea what to expect and he offered no guidance. And then…. MY ATTORNEY JIM LaSALLE WAS A NO-SHOW FOR COURT. True story.
He responded to my termination email from a new and different email account… that’s odd. I asked that he forward me the documents I needed; and that my money which he did not earn (since he neither assisted me in court nor wrote the letter) be donated to a local charity affiliated with the issue at hand. After the 3rd request he provided the documents but we could not agree on the charity donation amount, and so he kept all of my money.
