They sent me a collection order without a judgement agaisnt me. They took the word of some drunk lady that ownes a bar in harveyville. We never received a notice to appear in court .We even called the court house and they said there was never a case or judgement against us.

Just received a judgement and garnishment of wages on an 18 year old debt that I don't believe is mine and was originally 30.00. They are garnishing 1545.00 . When I tried to call them, they were rude almost billigerant and refused any information on the debt. They did say that in 2001 I confessed in a court of law about the debt which was a bold face lie. I didn't even live in Topeka in 2001 and I have never "confessed" to anything in a court of law. They lady I spoke to hung up on me. I will be handing this over to my attorney..

Identity stolen. Police Report filed. They sued me anyway for $86. That was 13 years ago. Never heard form them since. Just paid them over $1600 in interest. Offered to pay half, no dice. Merry Christmas.

This company has been far from professional. They filed collection on an issue from 20 years ago and just now decided to reach out. I received a judgement for garnishment without ever being served papers or anything else. I had no proof that the issue had been taken care of 20 years ago and didn't know what else to do. After trying to work things out and attempting to communicate by calling them multiple times and leaving messages, the person in charge of the account (Jennifer Wilkinson) did not reply back and said I was the one who broke off communication. I even have a copy of email responses where I had sent two previous emails without a response and when I sent another saying I haven't heard back from her, she responds saying this is the first time she has seen a response. I have put the email below and if it was the first time that she has seen a message then why was she replying about a previous message that she hasn't seen?

"Hello Jennifer,

I replied back to you twice regarding this matter and still haven't
heard back in over a week. I made efforts to keep communication open in
the past and pay what I owe. After attempting to communicate again, my
efforts are not getting a response. I never failed to communicate with
you the first time and have been trying to communicate again. The
communication has never broken down on my end."

"First of all, let me say that today is the first time I've seen your message asking if you could apply $300 monthly to your account as opposed to the $200 that is already in agreement. Of course, you are welcome to pay any amount you desire on your account. Obviously, the more you are willing and able to pay, the faster the account will be paid off. As I've stated previously, as long you are in communication with our office, we are more then happy to work with you! I can not explain why there was no response any earlier than today to your email except that today is the first time I have read it. For any lag on my end, I apologize. If there is anything else I can do, as always, feel free to contact me.
