I used Mark last year. He is awesome! I hired him after I hired an attorney in Stafford VA that was absolutely terrible yet highly rated online! Mark did everything he said he was going to do. He provided me the best defense regarding my situation, which was very complicated. I think his prices are competitive especially since I was being charged more by my prior attorney that decided to remove himself from my case 3 weeks before my trial all because I disclosed to him my concerns about him representing me properly. Mark gave me my options, kept me in the loop with my case, returned all my calls, emails, etc. I trust his judgment and would definitely recommend him to others facing difficulty legal matters!
The best one around, very personable, and truly cares about what is at hand. Would not go to anyone else.

This guy.
Day one of the case for which he was hired: slouched and hugged his briefcase (which was on the given desk) in court, apparently because he was too frustrated to deal with my case.
After he learned that I couldn't afford an attorney to help with a custody case and traffic incident, he enlisted my parents to pay a portion on my behalf.
He ended up dragging the case out so long for show fees that even the Judge thought it was too much. He's the kind of guy that will take you for everything you've got and plea you straight to jail.
Unfortunately for anyone who hires him, he's in the Old Boy's Club and will screw you over for his long-term friends in the Prince William Court.
He will drain your account and eff you over. Go with an attorney that's about cases, not money.

I would not recommend this firm. I got too much run around and opposing attorney and my ex told me I was being taken for and missed deadlines and was always last to know what was going on. My ex would tell me things first like our court date...whereas this firm told me weeks later about it...too many paralegals and some leaving causing a new one to relearn the case...cost me more time and money...I felt forced to settle or my bill would be in the $10,000 dollar area just to prepare for court...was basically told to or I would have to put more in trust...all this should have been prepared just in case we went to trial but nothing was done...while opposing counsel was prepared to fight for my ex. I was a good wife and was a single mother for so long...nothing was considered...now my son and I have to move in 4 months in the area close to my ex...as he will get to move back in the home...everyone told me its a tactacs lawyers use to get you to settle...I felt too many games were played and was very disappointed in this firm...my ex said they all made fun of who represented me...and his attorney said they sit and draw things out and are taking your wifes money...I paid litterally 6,000 if not more and wasnt happy at all.

I have used Mr. Crossland on two separate occasions and the outcome was in my favor both times. Mr. Crossland was most helpful as was his entire staff. Questions that I had or just requesting updates were promptly answered. I would highly recommend Mark Crossland for any legal matters that may be neccessary.
