Richard Reed was appointed for one of my children. I was very concerned and worked tireless to gather and provide as much info as possible because time is limited with appointed representation due to heavy caseloads. When the day came for him to argue on my child's behalf, I saw him transform into an assertive die-heart and he gave a Stellar performance to the courts. God and his argument changed the dynamics of the outcome and it absolutely turned in our favor. He was both compelling and passionate. So much so, that other attorneys came out to shake his hand and said that they had NEVER seen any thing like that. I hired the Reed Law firm in 2018 for my divorce. I met Kristen at my initial consultation and during the meeting, she was straight forward, explained the procedures for the divorce and did not waste my time or money. Kristen kept me up to date, so I did not have to inquire as to the status of the divorce. She replied to my emails or calls quickly (even on the weekends or off hours). While Mr. Reed was not hired on my behalf, he did represent my Uncle. I think Mr. Reed is extremely knowledgful of the laws, and thus did an excellent job representing my uncle. My divorce process was not easy. My lawyer,Kristen Yurkowski, was very patient the whole time even though my ex's lawyer had a habit of not responding to e-mails on time and had to e-mail her again and again. There was times I almost wanted to drop the whole thing because the stress was affecting my health. Kristen was there to encourage me to be strong and understood what I was going through. She didn't mind me sharing my concerns and worries with her. She was like a good friend to me.
Their fee is fair comparing to other Law firms. I liked the flat rate fee because for a case like mine which took long time because my ex was opposing to almost everything, hourly rate fee would have been costly. Talked to me only few minutes before court date , was not prepared, did not know anything about my case nor remember anything what I told him and when I was trying to remind him the answer during the hearing , he shut me up very harshly , I had an obvious case of domestic violence with a lot of proofs ranging from pictures, records , police report, arresting of the abuser , 2 witnesses , I end up getting 6 months no further harassing instead of 2 years no contact I was guaranteed to get it .
